Patch 0.1 is here, and with it, the opening of Beta Island! This glorious, sunlit isle is just a hop, skip and a shipwreck away from the Asper mainland,
and is full of lush, untextured jungle, buggy beaches, and Pokemon that run according to their programming.

THUNDERFALL SHRINE This giant metal splinter gleams like stainless steel in contrast to its rusted urban environment. It's a tremendous, diamond-shaped piece of metal as large as the toppled skyscrapers around it, with the bottom third dug deep into the shattered asphalt as if it were a spear hurled from the heavens.
Near the Thunderfall Shrine is a secret laboratory, overgrown and long-abandoned. The approach is precarious, and one must walk a tightrope bridge of steel girders and beams to reach it successfully. Anyone you know in the market for a new (slightly-used) lab?
SPAWNS & PROMPTS A once-beautiful city, now broken and reclaimed by the passage of time. Skyscrapers lay like felled trees, and roads are reduced to rubble by the eruption of lush plants from beneath the ground. Thick vines bend the steel and break the concrete, growing strong in this urban graveyard.
