DescriptionThe world holds its breath for one day, and not a minute more.
Requirements- Availability from Nov 12 - Nov 19 (USA)
- This will be a three round raid, with no ability to switch Pokemon once started
- Players will need to work together to succeed
- It is recommended that upgrades be done prior to the raid starting
- Players may bring up to 3 Pokemon!
- Corrupted Pokemon from the R2DTWO Dungeon are now removed from Player's active parties and may be replaced.

Furrlicity was hooting like the cowboy he wanted to be when the message pops up.
We leave what happens to his vague. Briar Beast rodeo riding was a powerful force that a Mod should have control of.
But what we do know is this.
Chu-e is suddenly popped out of VR. He sees the login screen and is confused. But, in the end, he sighs and puts the VR set away for the night. Knowing Cill (Finnegan Fjord) was also kicked out, he goes to see if Cill was up for some takeout.
But Furrlicity isn't quite done.
Unbeknownst to everyone, a meter starts to count down. The symbols from the Corruption status tick down down down.
And that timer?
Why, 24 more hours, of course.
Right in time for the Raid.

A video call from Ash comes in while Finn is still at the scene of the crime.
"I know nothing about that," Finn insists, poker-faced.
In the background, the fire set by Tuesday no doubt continues to burn. Finn's three corrupted Pokemon, one of them the rampaging Briar Beast Furrlicity Purrfection had tried to ride, surely have nothing to do with the sudden spike in corruption.
Then he's booted from the server.
"Shit, another one?" Cil takes off his headset, massaging a stiff neck. He rolls his shoulders back and calls across the apartment: "Ey Choi? You seeing this shit?"

Cool guys don’t look at explosions …and neither do #Badass catgirls.
Behind Tuesday, everything burns, the aftermath of her blaze of glory having caused damage upon the grounds of Bronstanton Manor, her enemies (so she’d hope!), and even herself. She’s scratched, bruised, and mildly aching. One of the tips of her crimson cape burns. None of these things matter.
Looking forward, she steps onto the flame, extinguishing it in one decisive stomp. Her arms are crossed over her chest, and at some point or another, she had apparently donned on a pair of sunglasses.
Rocinante is gone, but she had won, and now Professor Ash dares to try and tell her that there’s more?!
From behind dark shades, mismatched eyes squint at the image of the professor displayed by her UI, and when the words “subdue whatever is causing this reading” are spoken, a smirk displays the slightest hint of sharp fangs in the light of moon and flames.
Beyond the virtual reality displayed by the WorldScreen, there are no flames. Floor to ceiling windows provide the luxurious hotel room with a gorgeous view of a sunset, but Mars pays it no mind at all. He’s too preoccupied with the game. He has plans for tomorrow, he knows as much. A dinner date, of all things. Yet, invitations and requests to go on dates like those are no rarity in the life of AMZN’s CEO, while this…
This is an opportunity that can’t be put to waste.
Maybe he’s starting to become too much of a gamer.
Plans are cancelled and new plans are made in their place, and when the petite blonde logs back into the game, it’s with endless confidence and determination that she and her pokémon step towards the marked location.

He'd been in the middle of working on getting his inventory fixed and hatching his new Flabebe egg when he was kicked out of the game. A frustrated sigh as he looked at his watch and then at the message displayed on the screen. It meant that he was going to have to get some actual work done outside of the game again. He'd been tempted to text Nikoli to see if he'd been kicked out of the game as well but... He didn't want him to know that he was playing. So that was out of the question for the moment. All he could do was hope that he'd been fine if he was playing and then pulled out. But for now he collapsed back onto his bed and grabbed his laptop. Certainly there was some work that he could be doing right now instead of worrying over the fact that he hadn't even had time to name his new Pokemon yet. What a shame. It was going to look really nice in the sweeper spot. It was the first fairy type Pokemon he actually had and since he'd nearly maxed charmer that was something exciting in itself. All he could think this time was 'not again' when he saw the raid message for this event. He'd been trying to fish up something other than a Magikarp when it came through. That meant there was a chance of a giant legendary coming in and rocking their shit, right? Disgusting. He was absolutely going to participate though.
The last time they'd done this as terrible as it had been to deal with the C0D13 fiasco he was absolutely ready to get some rewards again. The bigger the event the better the reward pulls from it were. Everyone knew that. What he really wanted was to save up for getting a ticket back to beta island. But unfortunately that was being put on hold since he uh... went into game debt to upgrade his Pokemon. Again. Oh well.
With nothing else to do for the night he sighed and stretched his legs. He should pick up some snacks before he had to sit through another one of those raids. The last one felt like it took weeks to complete after all.

She didn't know if that was like a probational membership to the guild, or if it meant anything more special than that, but she was certainly going to treat that title with pride. Cygnus mentioned something about a heart, and she was planning on protecting it no matter the cost.
And just like that, the servers shut down to prepare.
Her headset came tumbling down off of her head as she laid back in bed staring at the ceiling. Her stomach growled, and her head felt a little woozy. Virtual alcohol had certainly done a number on her. It wasn't quite a hangover and more of a strange missing sensation. Like the pleasant buzzed feeling just vanished all at once, leaving her feeling... normal.
And hungry. Most of all hungry.
Her stomach suddenly growled as she laid in bed and it took energy to slowly sit up and swing herself off over the edge.
"Alright Abby, let's get some food. And, maybe actually try grocery shopping today." She spoke to herself in her lonely apartment, hoisting herself down off the bed and into her wheelchair. "We got a big day tomorrow, can't let Ash or Cygnus down, can we?"
That, and she was in desperate need of some snacks. Prepping for big raids in video games always gave her the munchies.

Knights of Mythstar? She'd heard rumors online about the guild, but hadn't really known what to believe about them. To be named an Temporary Knight seemed like a pretty big deal that Alice didn't intend to squander. She was about to promise to protect the Heart - whatever that was - when the video call from Professor Ash came in to announce the World Event. Alice expected to return to the game again within moment, and was stunned when her connection was abruptly cut. "Seriously? No grinding before the World Event, I guess." She turned off her VR headset along with her World Screen and got out of her gaming chair to stretch. Returning to being Alex was a little jarring sometimes, especially when she caught sight of herself in the mirror. Going from a pink-haired, charming fox-girl to her dark-haired, awkward real self was a bit of a disappointment sometimes. Maybe this offline thing was for the best. She could have a bite to eat and get a proper amount of rest before a big, game-changing event tomorrow evening. She had no idea how she was going to keep herself preoccupied for most of the day leading up to it... perhaps she could plan strategies. Play other games. Call her brother to hang out if she was really bored... She found same way to spend the time, but was still ready for the big event hours before it started. The second it came back online, Alex had her headset back on to login, more excited than she could remember feeling for a long time. TEAM:

The announcement went out, and Fairytale found themself smiling cheerily. ”Ah, this should be quite interesting~!” They declared happily despite the overall concerning content that was this video call. Sure, Fairytale hadn’t been a player all that long, but they felt energetic at the thought of something new to experience like this.
Bacchus looked vibrantly vicious in his own delight, while Aries looked downright terrified. Padma was definitely looking worried as well. But before any of them could say anything, the game cut out.
Lee pouted as they were returned to the lobby. Well, at least they had recently upgraded Sweeper to be able to evolve and expand the movesets of Aries and Bacchus, now respectively a Whimsicott and a Sawsbuck. And they were a higher tier Gardener than they’d started, with pokemon that were all at least part grass type.
There was no harm in attempting to work with other players on this raid, really. Weren’t battles the best place to form allies, after all? That was how pokemon worked, always.
One thing was certain. This really would be quite fun~!

Manish was doing his best to ignore Ryan, Lucy, and Narrator bickering behind him. He loved them, really he did, but they also seemed like they were constantly in a speedrun to give him a headache. He just wanted to find a nice place to nap, was that really too much to ask? <What are you even saying? That doesn’t make any sense.> <You callin’ me a liar?> “Guys…” Manish tried to get their attention when his notifications started going off. <She ain’t calling you a truther.><No one asked you, toad boy!> “Please can we just…”<You can’t talk to him like that!> <Can too! I haven’t had any creepy voices in my head this time?” All three pokemon shot each other mildly disbelieving looks. “Honest! Guys! Come on, it’s really not my fault this…” But his sentence was cut off as he was thrown into a black screen. “Huh.” Manish took off his headset and reorientated himself to being in the real world. Bronze sat beneath a curving, jagged metal rib of immense stature, ensconced in the soothing shadow of the structure's vast presence. It was cool, yes, particularly with the incessant wind that ever sought to rapaciously plunder his body heating, but he found it pleasant, as calming as being swaddled in umbral cotton. There was a special quality here, to the Steppes, the very air infused with an otherworldly energy that had nothing at all to do with the crackling static that shivered across the steel surface of the spires.
He was taking a respite, one long leg drawn up into an arch, upon which he rested his right elbow, occasionally taking great, crunching bites from the apple held loosely in the cage of his calloused fingers. It was important to slow down, to stop and take the time to drink in all that life had to offer, to truly savour every drop, before the well ran dry. So he sat, and he chewed pensively upon the sweet, faintly tart fruit, amber gaze roving thoughtfully across the ever shifting sea of swaying grass.
His reverie was interrupted by his bracer pinging him with an alert, the gleaming bronze metal vibrating to draw his attention more urgently. Curious, he held the arcane device aloft, watching the slate liquesce into the image of a silver hued woman.
He listened with all the gravitas that the missive was due, heavy brows drawing down in a grave frown of displeasure once it was finished. That expression carried over into the real world, when he found himself logged out, forcibly ejected from the far more appealing reality of UNOVR - a dark flicker of resentment sparked to life within his chest at that, but he smothered it, and rose. It gave him time to prepare, to rest, eat, and tend to what mundanities needed seeing to. Then he would be back, and he would do what he could to aid those in need - however little that might be.

"Wudda hecc! Bubbasor! And Bubbasor! And more Bubbasor!"
It's the umpteenth time that he's repeated the statement, his eyes wide as a saucer as he stares into the various mirrors around him. His little feet tippy-tap against the ground, his grassy feelers reaching out to touch the smooth surface as he marvels the wonderous ways of a mirror. And Althaea simply watches, a smile hanging upon her lips as Kaleo steadily discovers the miracles that this world has to offer.
At least, until that video call comes in. Confusion fills her as she listens, the names mentioned ringing no bells as she notes the location on the map. Then just as quickly as it had appeared, the world goes dark.
Her muscles tense, her ears straining to hear any cries from the young Bulbasaur about how the sun went to sleep, but it never comes. Instead, a message remains on full display, her brain quietly clicking the pieces together as she slips from an endless darkness back to reality.
The sun shines brightly outside of the window, dancing over the curtains and illuminating the coffee desk beside her. Half-written scores, broken lead and crumpled papers encircle a steaming bowl of corn soup, a note stuck underneath with familiar scrawls on it. Reaching out, she takes hold of the bowl, wincing as the heat gently singes her fingertips.
'Don't forget to eat! We're out of eggs though, money's in the box!'
A few quiet breaths helps to cool the surface, just enough for her to take a sip.
"Alright then, what should I make for lunch..."

He wasn't sure what he was doing in the game right now. He was having problems figuring out where he was supposed to go to find this little mushroom that he wanted to find for Manish. It was probably somewhere dumb... But maybe it wasn't? Because now the game yelled at him and forcibly logged him out hard. Orion had been pulled away from the party prematurely, someone had started trouble at his Uncles bar and needed their teeth knocked in. Apparantly someone needed their teeth knocked in in Vr, because when he came backk all hell had broken loose.
Aww shit, here we go again.
This time he was stronger, he had a team, and he wasn't going to let anything or anyone get between him and his online escape. Nothing would hurt the digital suragate mother he'd grown to love, nothing would fuck up his electronic piece of Eden.
Whatever was brewing didn't know what he had in store, he was coming for them, and hell was coming with him.

Having not been completely sucked into her VR experience, when the servers go down Luka simply...goes about her day. She answers emails (ugh), does some grocery shopping, folds laundry. At night she has a shower and paints her nails, humming to the tune of a catchy k-pop beat. All very mundane, when compared to the night of fantastical horrors she'd just experienced in VR. This game is fun, but it's definitely not what she expected... In fact, it almost makes her not want to participate in this raid at all. She's not the most prepared for this kind of thing, definitely not the kind of hardcore gamer that minmaxes and preps beforehand (she doesn't even really know what that means). Heck, all of the Pokemon she's collected so far are just cute little babies! She's a fake gamer girl... Still, she'd been given quite the honor. An honorary Knight of Mythstar, whatever that means. And she'd feel kind of bad letting Cyrus down! With a sigh, she checks her schedule to make sure the next evening is free. She'll have to reschedule dinner with her bestie, but he probably won't mind. Oh! Maybe they can just order something in while she plays!
