Since our Beta launch we've been hard at work adding, tweaking, and fixing. Patch 0.2 is all about quality of life improvements and getting the site running as smooth as Silcoon. You can check it out here!

Patch 0.1 is here, and with it, the opening of Beta Island! This glorious, sunlit isle is just a hop, skip and a shipwreck away from the Asper mainland, and is full of lush, untextured jungle, buggy beaches, and Pokemon that run according to their programming.

It was much the same- fog loomed over every surface, the fallen tree still there, a darkened creeping seat, and the water still stretched, bottom unfathomable. It seemed gloomier, though, without someone else. But they had a fishing rod, now. One of their own. Silvermoon took a breath, and sat at the edge of the long-fallen pine, metal boots dangling over the shallows. Their buizel moved to lay behind them with a hefty sigh, mirroring the night they'd found him... Silvermoon pulled out the fishing rod- It wasn't very fancy, just a polished stick with a long line, a hook and bobber along it- but it was theirs, and they could prove themselves with it. "What do you say?" They said, taking a breath and casting the line. "How about we fish up a friend for you?" FISHING ROD SET! [break] When a Fishing Spawn bites, reply using the ~~ATTACK~~ button to reel it in! But watch out— it might fight back! If your PKMN faints, you must go to the closest SHRINE to restore your PKMN. When the fish's HP reaches 10% or below, up to 2 players with a Fishing Rod may catch it here at no cost. You may also ~~retreat~~ to throw your fish back. Retreating succeeds automatically.

It was dappled and silvery- It almost looked like a real fish, which was a terrible thing to say. But... it did. It looked like the skin-on filets they would see, sometimes, at the store. But they were long and thin, and this pokemon was... really round. Was it healthy? "Um." Silvermoon turned around, glancing at buizel. "What do you think? They're kinda cute, right?" Buizel answered by getting up, coming over, smelling the magikarp, and proceeding to bite it sharply. "N- No!" Spawn Reset
