An attack comes from below this time, the ground being displaced as something moves beneath. It's enough to catch Tuesday's eye, and because it's not the first time she deals with an attack like this at the Steppes, she's ready.

The immovable spear is jabbed into the the spot the Pokémon is about to be, and whispering the command word "Alexa.", Tuesday makes it so it becomes impossible to move until she unlocks it. The Pokémon is trapped.

"Ha. It's like whack-a-mole." She smirks to herself, and whispering the command word one more time, she takes her spear away, allowing the Drilbur to flee the scene.

She walks for another ten minutes or so before spotting another Doduo, and of course, as should only be expected, this one too is used for target practice. Standing close enough so that she could potentially make the shot but far enough so that the two-headed bird won't notice her until it's too late, Tuesday gets a running start and throws.

The spear sails through the air, quick as lightning, it rushes over vibrant grass blades, passing right between the Doduo's heads and giving it one hell of a fright.

"Fuckin' hell. So close."

At least the Doduo is quick to run away instead of seeking a fight.

The answer: it's hard. It's really fucking hard.

At first, the only thing she sees is a Nidoran, but those are too small and too skittish to even be useful as practice targets, especially considering that this one had already noticed her. So, she keeps on walking, ignoring the little light blue Pokémon.

Although maybe I should catch one of them one day.... They would do well with those crown jewels I got...

This time, instead of attacking from below, the Drilbur resurfaces a few metres ahead from where Tuesday is, almost as if it hadn't noticed her. Is she not in range yet or something? That'd make sense, right?

Whatever the case, she decides not to test the waters and just go around it, because she sure has no reason to want to fight one of those. Holding her spear, she moves on.

...And the spear is lowered in just a few seconds, because the distant movement turns out to be no more than another Rufflet. Nothing that interests her.

To switch things around, Tuesday turns left, walking West instead of northwards as she had been until this moment.

Maybe that'll make all the difference, right?

Probably not, though.

"There you are."

The noise she had heard had actually been the distinct and oh-so-hard-to-replicate sound of electricity meeting metal; like that a tesla coil or even a plasma globe. A sound that in a game like UNOVR usually belongs to a steel Pokémon discharging electricity, in this case a Magnemite — a sight that makes Tuesday smile in pure relief and excitement.

There it is. Her prey.

Smaller than what she had hoped for, but still a good prize for what now has been hours of hunting.

"I've got you now." Perhaps there are better and more elaborate plans than just charging against a Pokémon that could electrocute her, specially when wearing an armour made our of a conductor metal like steel, but Tuesday is here to put the armour to the test, and so, spear in hand, she charges. Maybe she will be given reason to want to cast her next prototype in stainless steel (awful conductor) instead, but for now, her mind is in jabbing the immovable spear right between the main body of the Magnemite and one of its magnets.

Tricky, but it sure as hell can be done.

Just like that, the Magnemite falls to the ground, unconscious after having fallen for Tuesday's trap. Another one bites the dust. When seeing this, the armoured Alchemist laughs.

"FUCK YEAH! That's what I'm talking about!"

And then, once she exclaims in joy, she pauses to catch her breath, a few chuckles still escaping her by the time she whispers a soft "Alexa." to release the spear back into her hands. With a successful hunt and a test concluded, here is Tuesday's verdict on improvements that need to be made:

• Find a way to make armor lighter
• Find a way to make armor quieter
• Preferably use a strong, non-conductive metal
• Design could use some improvements, see sketches
• Spear + Honedge... Need close-range weapon for when neither are available...dagger? Use Moltres Egg Shard to craft it? All knights must have daggers to go with their swords
• ...Need more spear throw practice. Working on that.

And so, as per usual, there's much left to do. Tuesday always has something to do, does she not?
