THUNDERFALL SHRINEa lightningrod buried among buildings, humming with awakened powerYou have to pick your way through overgrown city streets to reach the lone shrine of Ostellia. A "gift" from System Admin:Zapdos (see this post) this giant metal splinter gleams like stainless steel in contrast to its rusted urban environment.
Formerly called the Giant Shrine, this shrine is still truly massive. Imposing. It's a tremendous, diamond-shaped piece of metal as large as the toppled skyscrapers around it, with the bottom third dug deep into the shattered asphalt as if it were a spear hurled from the heavens.
The air is sweet with ozone, and veins of blue static creep across the metal like veins.
Approach the Shrine... When you reach 0 HP, you can bring your fainted Pokemon to the shrine. Make a post in this thread and the mysterious energy within the monument will restore them to full health. POKEMON CAN BE CHANGED TO GALARIAN FORM AT THIS LOCATION.

"You know, I'm starting to think coming to the new area might not have been a great choice..."<'How come? This place is cool!'> Peri jumps up by his trainer's side, tiny baby blue wings doing more waving than fluttering. Piplup are, after all, as flightless as can be. "Eh... You're tiny and HP and... It's a lot to explain, never mind."But, is Peri wrong? This place is rad as fuck. And, not to mention, the air is filled with ozone, so isn't that a clear sign that ozone should be here too? Plus, it's a new areas, and Oz fucking loves exploring new areas in games. He might even find some cool Pokémon and—... Looking up towards the gargantuan steel shrine that rises in this dilapidated city, Oz sighs, the slightest of smirks tugging at his lips. "Fine. Guess I can make a few quick upgrades. Let's go do some exploring."

Seems familiar, doesn't it?
Ibis hasn't taken good care of his health pool recently, nor has he made an concerted effort to actually remember what it was, before he'd taken some damage last time he was catching something. Surely, in this new area full of new things, there'd be a new shrine to heal him up good-and-proper?
Well, almost. More of a second-hand shrine, really, deposited ungraciously amongst the crumbling cityscape. Ah, it reminded him of home: beautiful Detroit, never change.
Nontheless, Ibis had healing to be done. The shrine thrums under his touch, warm and cold all at once, like when you hold your hand under the snow until you can't feel anything. A good, fresh start - and a little more health.

Silvermoon tumbled as they hit the ground, groaning softly- before jerking upright. “Tuesday? Tues- ahh…” They… they were at the shrine. Right… They got to their feet, wavering, stumbling to lean on the Shrine for support, twin static warring on their skin.
Silvermoon took in a deep breath, tucking their sprigatito tight against their chest again. “C’mon- we have to get back there!” They looked at their pokemon, and frowning, recalled the Sprigatito- letting out Kintsugi.
<What's going on?> He asked, eyes casting over the horizon. Silvermoon just moved, climbing onto his back.
“We have to get back to Tuesday- She still needs help!”

The Giant—excuse her, Thunderfall Shrine fit better over here.
Maybe because it seemed to match the aesthetic, only as a gleaming, shining arrow of hope than the rusted and forgotten skyscrapers that was its new companions. Maybe it was also her memories of the raid, how it went; it was probably safer here, away from the mainland. Away from those who would try to harm it. Not that many, if any, remained.
In her arms was a large egg, skin tingling as the occasional spark landed against her skin. Was this a sort of homecoming for it? For the little Zapdos inside? It's... father? Creator? Wasn't around, and honestly, Odile didn't have a clue how that would go down in terms of what Zapdos would say. Would he be proud? Indignant? Uncaring? Some weird mix of the three? Odile didn't know. It almost felt weird to be back in UNOVR after her hiatus, to walk along these new old roads, but the hum of the egg helped out. The taste of ozone was almost sweet.
"Home sweet home." Odile sighed as she came up, and pressed her back against the shrine, spine electrified. A hand gently rubbed the top of the egg, not even bothering to wince as another spark burned against her palm. "I hope you like it here little guy. I think you'll be a good match here."
A good match here, a good match with her.
The egg trembled for a brief moment, not like a shake of thunder, before settling down.

"...Fuck."
This is, of course, Tuesday's reaction to being teleported to the nearest shrine after whatever that thing is managed to reduce her hit points to zero. Not something a player who has spent countless hours hunting down Pokémon is unfamiliar with, but it always leaves her wanting to do one thing and one thing alone: go back, find that thing, and beat it to a pulp.
She looks back towards the Thunderfall shrine and nods, then calling for her Dragonair to quickly make it back where Silvermoon is. Can't leave them to fight that thing along!
On the way there, she may even have a look through her PokéDex... If she's not too distracted by her need to snap these power cords.

Kintsugi's claws caught on grass, and the pair tumbled, falling in a heap before the massive Shrine. Silvermoon pushed themselves up, palms scraped and burning. Their breath came hot in their chest- until Kintsugi pressed against them. <Let's head back- We'll help Tuesday out, and figure out what's happening.>
"Okay," Silvermoon whispered, climbing onto their pokemon's back again.

Orion would simply stop by, an alert from Bee begging for a broventure prompting him to stop up and make sure him and his mon were ready for...whatever they might find. He would simply kneel, taking a deep breath as he would put a single hand on the shrine and hum softly. He could still feel the sting of Zapdos' lightning from their fight, the weight of his blows crushing down on him. He'd fought a literal storm and walked away calling it a draw.
Something felt powerful about that.
He'd made a bit of a name throwing hands with every legendary he'd met so far, so now he was ready for the next step. If them using their power to clear to corruption would kill them, he would have to figure something else out. He would have to rise above, grow stronger, and ascend beyond that power. He would have to become legendary himself.
Bring it on.
Removing his hand from the shrine, Orion would rise to his feet and sigh. Time to see what Bee wanted.

Bee staggered over to the shrine.
He was covered in vine, fruit juice, rooftop water, and studded with broken glass. Everything hurt, and he hadn't even been fighting!
In his UI, two Pokeballs were dimmed. Orange and Rian had been smacked around by Florida's best, and they'd been forced to retreat or else feel the sharp sting of defeat. I mean, they did lose already. That was a pretty big part of what happened. But it wasn't the end. Oh no. It was only the end if you gave up.
"Zapdos. Please heal my Pokemon so that we can return to battle."
Lightning flowed through him, making his muscles buzz and his teeth sing. He felt like he was limitlessing and that his eyes were shaking from too much caffeine. It was worse than a drug but far more invigorating. He could swear his viewing window was now at like 250 degrees.
In his UI all six Pokemon showed up as bright green. No longer monochrome they were ready to go.

A flash of white signified Orion taking the pain train back to the shrine, landing on his head and letting out a gasp as all the air forcibly vacated his body. Thank god he'd yet to manage getting his coffin to this region, or that last blow from the buzzswole could have left him with some very serious phantom nerve injuries. He lay slumped on the ground, legs folded over his head as it took a moment for the shrine to work it's magic. Static crackled and pulsed, and like a defibrillator a jolt of energy revived Orion as he sprung to his feet like Popeye after eating a can of spinach.
"GOD DAMN" Orion hissed, cracking his neck and taking a moment to properly stretch out, something he'd been unable to do before the fight as they'd been mercilessly jumped by their attacker. "That fucker has hands! I'm gonna have to add him to the squad and learn how to speak bugneese or something, HO LEE FUCK."
Scanning the area, he'd find a slight bruised but otherwise fine Bee and clap him on the shoulder. "Round 2 home slice, let's go show that buggerfucker the power of the Bandannabeatdown"

Kazuki groaned, pulling himself off the cracked surface of a fallen skyscraper. He rubbed his back, plucking out shards of glass, debris, and ferns from the overgrowth. He gave up about halfway since too much was already lodged into his exposed skin. The curse of voluntarily not wearing clothes.
At least his HP was back to full, and he had all his limbs, as expected. Kazuki froze in the middle of patting himself down.
He waved his hand. Checked his UI.
He frantically searched the area around, even diving briefly in the water, only to emerge, spitting out disgusting water and shaking like a dog.
“EGG,” he wheezed, hauling ass to the dunes, hopefully before Verai and his Zygarde were turned into omelets.

Server time: 17:30. The sky was just getting dark, but the Giant Shrine— now the Thunderfall Shrine— shone bright as a beacon. Mirrored sides that had once reflected slices of yellow moor and stormy skies flickered with blue-white electricity, far more here than it ever had at the Steppes. Perhaps it was from its stint flying around in the sky recharging with Zapdos. Perhaps there was something else about this place that was affecting it.
Morgana found it hard to look at directly. The sparks were bright as a welding iron, and the closer she came, the more the shrine seemed to react. She tried on a pair of broken sunglasses she'd found in an abandoned storefront, letting the tinted glass dull the harsh light. One of the lenses fell out immediately, plonking hollowly on the cracked asphalt underfoot. She sighed and put the frames back in her pocket. Weren't there any modern conveniences salvageable in this place, or did she have to craft everything herself?
"Blind trust then, I suppose?" she said, then closed her eyes. She reached out and touched the shrine. "Let's see if this goes how it used to."

Zac felt the sunlight on his skin. He smelled the ozone in the air, and took a deeper sniff. He looked around, but saw only darkness.
This place felt sacred. Beautiful and, despite the many years of neglect and reclamation, it felt unsullied. There was a certain reverence that hung in the air like glittering dust motes. His whole body tingled. It was like going to the dentist and getting the gas.
"Where the hell am I?" Buzzster asked.

Zac staggered away from the shrine, narrowly avoiding a deep puddle of water. He was going to find and help his niece. She was back out there! Probably all alone and afraid and helpless. Like that time when she was five and got her kite stuck in a tree!
"She needs me!" Zac said, forging on blindly into the urban wilderness.

Distractions only worked so long as a Pokemon was capable of maintaining them. Perhaps Morgana should have paid more attention to Celine when the Shinx was yowling about needing more protection than just a Shuckle.
"Ugh!" Morgana exclaimed as she appeared at the shrine, shielding her eyes against the blue-bright static running up and down the enormous spear. "Curses! I was hoping that wouldn't happen if I still had Guillotine out."
Celine was on the ground before her, clearly unconscious. Bergamot picked him up and carried him to the base of the Thunderfall Shrine, for once not concerned that the electricity might do more harm than good. "Hurry up!" she exclaimed. "I'm in the middle of a quest!"
