Colossal Pokemon Attack (Easy) G6Xgw2Or2d30 If Supereffective: +20 *for the next postIt has been some time since Wolf had attempted a Colossal Battles. In fact, the last time she attempted one was well before the recent change in how they function. Back then, there were only three raids available at a time with only three difficulties. Easy. Medium. Hard. Each with a preselected pokemon and all. However, the recent change in the platform of the Colossal Battle was a welcoming sight for Wolf. The changes were definitely for the better. At least, thatâs what she thought.
A cool breeze washed through the abandoned city, sending loose dirt and dust into the air in a frenzy. A faint series of creaking back and forth could be heard, but what or where was unclear to her. It gave broken old door on rusted out hinges vibes. Her gaze lifted, noting the ominous cloudy sky above. This was intense. As soon as the wind settled, so did the strange silence in the place. A brow rose, honestly kind of loving it. That was, until the notification began to appear before her.
COLOSSAL BATTLE HAS BEEN SELECTED! PLEASE CHOICE YOUR SIX POKEMON!
Wolfâs gestured through the menus, selecting her team before the another notification appeared before her.
The hybrid huffed, gesturing through the menus to pick the three pokemon she wanted out of the six she originally picked from. Once by one, each pokemon materialized before her. Ziryan the type null, Ryoko the Riolu, and Nishari the Umbreon. This left her, her braixen, and her houndour on stand by. Quickly, Wolf exited the menu and minimized her hut leaving only important information in her line of sight unless she focused on it. âListen up,â she called out, pale golden orbs flickered to the transparent yet visible count down in the sky, âZiryan and Ryoko. You two are up first. Nishari. You will stand back and heal. Letâs win this first time. Please. This should be an easy one.â The three let out their respective cries, moving into position. Wolf still was getting use to this style of battling. Hopefully, this will aid in her learning it better.
The number flashed zero, a buzzier sounded, and the battle began.
The ground quaked once, Wolf stumbling for balance only for a second. Not even a few seconds later, another quake. Loose material shifting, falling to the ground in the massive disturbance. Another quake. Wolfâs ears fell back, pale golden orbs on the opening before her. She knew what it was, but wasnât really prepared for the size. Moving around the building, a semi truck sized grey and black furred canine emerged into battlefield. Its nostrils flared to scent out the air, intimidating yellow eyes fell upon them when its nose found them. It moved into position before them, lips lifted to snarl at them. The growl rattled the players nervous. Thought secretly, she just wanted to boop that giant snoop.
The two creature before her tensed, the type null let out his own growl. It rattled its helmet, fearless despite the sheer size of the foe before him. Ryoko was silent confident, though shifted his weight uneasily at the creature. âItâs so big,â Nishari spoke softly, Wolf fighting the urge to say the classic âthatâs what she saidâ and holding her own ground, âYeah. Thatâs kinda the point. If it was normal size, it would be too easy to defeat.â The umbreon shifted her weight, clearly not happy about this. âDonât worry. We got this. Just stay focused.â Nishari didnât respond.

Colossal Pokemon Attack (Easy) S19NvAcd2d30 If Supereffective: +20 *for the next postAs soon as the poocheynaâs red glowing danger gaze fell upon her and her three pokemon, the battle began. Epic battle music blasted faintly in the background of the scene, a sizable green health bar appeared above the creatures head. Pale golden orbs were quick to look at its total, sighing to herself at the large number that appeared on it. She knew it was going to have a decent amount of health, but actually seeing it felt impossible. But before Wolf could even think about calculating how many rounds she will have to endure, the health status bar vanished leaving just a menacing foe.
âGet ready!â
Wolf wasnât sure why, but she thought that giving this is a âbeginnerâ colossal battle she would have the first move by default. But, that wasnât the case. Her momentary lapse of action could cost her. This was something she needed to learn. The massive creature throw its head back, nose to the air and muzzle parted. A loud ear piercing cry erupted from its maw, HOWLing so loudly with a strange painful pitch. It even forced the player to cover her ears (or turn down the game volume) to not break her focus on the battle before her. Her creatures however, werenât so lucky. All three of them, grimaced in pain. The only one who could do something about it was the riolu, blessed to have paw like hands to try to shield its ears. It didnât work though.
Cursing, she tried to shout over the howl for her pokemon to engage the poocheyna. Surely, that would shut it up. It didnât work. They could hear her over the immobilizing howl from the canine. Luckily though, the canine needed air at some point and it came quicker than she thought it would. Its muzzle fell, sucking in air and leaving her an opening. âGo now! Ziryan, METAL SOUND! Ryoko, get ready to ROCK SMASH!â
Being the fast creature it was, the Type Null was the first to action. A vicious snarl rattled in its helmet, the creature attempt to dig its front talons into the crackling surface beneath him. Of course, the concrete didnât budge but that didnât stop him. The creature stood tall, head high and body ridged. Its chest cavity expanded, expelling an equally ear pricing shrill towards the poocheyna. Shock waves of metal on metal rippled through the air, the dark type canine letting out a loud cry of pain to the sounds. Meanwhile, riolu charged forward.
Leaning forward, little legs propelled him into a sprint. Arms fell back, practically ninja running to the foe. And as the foe crunched in pain from his fellow team members attack, it was his turn to give the creature a smack down. Using the debris that littered all over, Ryoko leaped off one pile of broken building onto another one. He continued this momentum, parkouring to get higher and closer until he leaped into the air above the canine. A single paw out, a red sphere formed in it and grew rapidly in sizes. Gravity did the rest, pulling him down back to earth with the sphere being the first thing that hits the creature below him.
The poocheyna screamed in pain, Ryoko using the canine thrashing to launch himself back onto the ground several feet in front of it. The fighting type was quick to dart back, swinging himself back around when he was closer to Wolf and the team to how much theyâve done to their foe. Unfortunately, it wasnât as much as the player wouldâve hoped being maxed out for this tier of battle. She cursed, glaring at the health bar that barely moved. âQuick! Nishari. Heal them and prepare for another round.â The umbreon let out a long meow, bouncing in place to generation healing energy that soon sparkled off her and reach for her allies. The green energy stuck to them, allowing the to heal even if its was just a little. It was a good HELPING HAND to have.
âPrepare for a counter attack!â

Colossal Pokemon Attack (Easy) rKhMLKAn2d30 If Supereffective: +20 *for the next postJust as those words escaped her mouth, the semi truck sized dark canine casted them a menacing mean mugging glare. Behind the mask, the woman attempted to swallowed her nervinesses down. She wasnât sure how the new system worked in these colossal battle, and wasnât sure if her or her team was ready.
Pale golden orbs flickered to her pokemon frantically, eyes narrowed to see their stats that momentarily materialized for her. And honestly, not as bad as she thought they would be after the first round. Her attackers were at full health, thanks to her support. And the support herself, wasnât too low of health yet. She still had about three quarters health left. Maybe, this wonât be as bad as she initially thought. It brought a new wave of confidence in her.
âHere it comes!â
The poochyena began to move. One paw lifted, slamming into the ground to cause a mini earthquake. The sounds of more broken building crumbling and falling to the ground fill the arena. Another paw came down seconds after that one, slamming into the ground sending dirt and dusk into the air everywhere. And before Wolf could see more destruction caused by the canineâs steps, the truck came barreling down the main street straight for them. Wolf cursed under her breath, taking a step back with her eyes wide. âLook out!â It was too late.
Of course, it was the type null to take the first hit. The darn creature too prideful to actually stand back with his own team mates. The poochyena tugged its head, only to TACKLE nudge and fling its head to the side. It sent Ziryan flying through the air, the creature letting out a cry only for a half crumbling building to stop him from slamming into what Wolf would assume would be the border of the area. The blow was harsh, Wolf could hear it. Ziryan letting out an agony filled airless grunt escape him, limply falling to the ground with a soft thud. However, Wolf didnât have time to check on him. The canine was still coming.
Itâs line of sight on her poor little riolu. Her mouth parted, attempting to warn the standing dog even though she knew it wasnât gunna do anything. Unovr had no such doing feature. Regardless, she was too late. The canine, much like before, tucked its head under. Its short snout nearly scooped the two legged pokemon in its TACKLE attack, head thrusted upward to launch him into the sky. Her eyes observed, astonished. Ryoko flailed out, crying out all the while. And just when he reached the peak of gravity, gravity pulled him back down to earth. Yet another, solid thud and whines of deep agony was heard. Wolf flinched.
The umbreon was the only target left. She tried to stand her ground the best she could, bracing for the impact she knew was coming. The canine took a side step just inches from her, causing Nishari to let her guard down just for a moment only to get side TACKLEd into the abandoned building that was next to her. Another scream of pain, the building crumbling around her. Wolf winced at that one too. It all looked like it hurt, badly. What in the right mind did Tuesday think that being the one to fight in these battles herself would be a good idea? And most importantly, why in the hell did Wolf get the player class too?
Despite what she just witnessed and the poocheyna coming to a cocky holt before her, Ziryan managed to get to his feet and casted a grumbling growl at the canine from behind it. Shortly after, riolu stood up from his small crate he left in the ground and shook off the dirt that stuck to his short fur. Even Nsihari, looked like she might be stuck in the rubble, came crawling out ready for the next round. Maybe, it wasnât as bad as it looked. Sure looked like bad.
âAlright. Keep the pressure. Ziryan, use the ruins to give a solid AREICAL ACE. Ryoko, prepare to COUNTER if he tried to attack. Nishari, give them a good HELPING HAND.â
Before Wolf even finished giving out her commands, the type null was in action. He rushed forward, leaping onto a crumbling mall that he used like stars. Leaping onto one ledge to the next, the type null parkour his way up as high as the area could let him. And when the poocheyna turned to find the chimera, Ziryan was already close and in the sky. His frame encased in a white glow. Body light as a feather. A vile snarl ripped through his throat and rattled his helmet, body came crashing down onto of the canine back. It howled in pain, stumbling back a few paces forcing Wolf to leap out of the way.
The poochyena was quick to recover, shaking its head and meet the gaze of Riolu. Its muzzle parted, letting out a snarl and reaching for the riolu. However, Ryoko was ready to fight back. Large pointy pearly whites came down upon him, a deep red glowing barrier formed around the two legged canine with a simply flex of the fighting types muscles. Teeth on the barrier, the creature let out a muffled growl. The riolu roared back, the force field around him expanded and exploded in the creatures mouth. Again, the colossal pokemon stumble back several paces unintentionally closer to Ziryanâs. It let out screams of pain, whipping its head back and forth while gagging.
Nishari let out took in a deep breath, the yellow rings around her body took on a brillant glow. Green particles drifted in the air, come reaching the type null while others graced the riolu. The green particles offering small bits of health to keep the warriors still fighting. Of course, all this healing came at a cost. Once she healed them as much as she could, the umbreon let out a heavy breath and began to pant from the strain.

Colossal Pokemon Attack (Easy) UidV1q2g2d30 If Supereffective: +20 *for the next postWolfâs gaze fell upon her support pokemon, grimacing at the sight of her umbreon lightly shaking and panting from exhaustion. For a moment, the hybrid silently contemplated on whether to switch Nisha out or keep her in. She was doing such a great job, both Ziryan and Ryoko have been on full health this entire time after each hit. Yet, it pained the player to see her umbreon straining so hard. Her mouth parted, about to ask her if she wanted to rest up. However, the poochyena already recovered and readied for the next round.
Its nose scrunched and lips lifted, baring its large yet still baby pearly whites and emitting a low displeased snarl at them all. Wolfâs heart skipped a beat. There was something about a semi truck sized poochyena that just didnât sit right. The creature took in a deep breath, its chest expanding with the sudden intake. She wasnât sure what it was about to do, but it didnât look good with how much air it needed. There wasnât much any of them could do other than âBrace yourself!â
The poochyena planted its paws firmly on the ground, clearly ready to let loose something. Wolf feared the worse, praying that whatever it was would knocked her team out in one blow. Its muzzle parted, a loud ROAR exploded from it. It was loud, shock waves of air pushed everything within its blast flying. This included Wolf, quickly crouching down as her hands reached out to shield her ears from the blast. And yes, both of them. She pulled her wolf ears down, using her arms to shield her actually human ears because she had no idea if both or only one worked. Meanwhile, loose dirty and debris when flying through the air. Also, her three pokemon.
Ziryan braced himself against the roar, actually doing quite well as he drug his talons into the broken up assault. Ryoko tried his best, only to be too light and when flying through the air. Thought luckily, it simply knocked him off his paws. Nishari also tried to endure the roar, also holding up well as the beast ran out of air and had to take in a breath. âGO NOW,â she shouted, much louder than she wanted too, âMETAL SOUND AND ROCK SMASH!â
The type null sprang into action before his handler could even finish her order. His feet firmly planted into the ground, chest expanded to take in as much as he could. And when he couldnât take in any more, the creature pushed all that air out. The sound he emitted was a nasty one, metal on metal scrabbling against each other causing the most irritable noise. While this noise forced the massive canine to flinch and cringe in pain, the tiny two legged canine found a suitable size boulder. He grunted, lifting the peace of grumbled up building into the air only to launch it at the foeâs head. It hit, the canine let out a sharp agony filled howl as it stumbled on its feet and shook its head knocking crumbles of debris off.
âQuick Nisha, another heal plz!â The umbreon let out a soft cry, small green particles floated off her body and danced swiftly to his team mates to give them a HELPING HAND once more. The two canine absorbed the healings, though Nisha tensed on pain once more. Wolf tried to ignore it, but it was hard to watch. She smiled, mouthing thank you to the creature when the strain subsided.

The playerâs gaze shifted to above the semi truck sized poochyena, wolf like ears perked forward when the bar materialized and revealed the beastâs health in the red. âFinally,â Wolf breathed in relief, allowing the bosses health bar to disappeared again, âItâs almost over.â Pale golden orbs shifted to her pokemon, noting that next time she might attempt a no healer run to see how that goes. Not that Nishari didnât do a killer job, but Wolf was more of the âbeat the boss as fast as you canâ type than the âenjoy the battleâ type. At least, at this point in time.
It took a hot minute for the colossal creature to gather itself this time, panting heavily from exhaustion while it stumbled on its paws. All her pokemon took the time to assemble before her, all pair of eyes on the dark type canine as it finally recovered enough to look at them. Darkness was in its eyes, burning with the never ending desire to crush each and every one of them. If Wolf didnât know that she was winning this time, she might have been more intimidated. But knowing she was going to win, this gave the player a confidence boost.
In, what looked like, a last ditch effort to win this battle, the poochyena began to barrel down the abandoned street. At first, it was slow moving. It was clear the creature has suffered some serious injured. However, it also gained speed in the short distance. Its muzzle parted, aiming for Ziryan first. Large yet tiny teeth came down onto the chimera, the sounds of both crushing of a body and the creature screaming in pain filled air despite being muffled by the canineâs mouth. Wolfâs heart sank, knowing this was all a game but the noises felt so real. âZiryan!!â
Once the normal type stopped crying out in pain, the poochyena whipped its head to the side while letting go of his body. Almost lifelessly, his body went flying through the air and slammed into a crumbled up buildings last remaining wall. He hit hard, a poof of dust bellow out upon his impact before the creature fell onto of debris right below it. A low groan could be heard shortly after his landing. Although Wolf was sure it hurt him more than it hurt her, it still messed her up pretty badly.
Everyone was frozen in shock and disbelief, all of them waiting to see Ziryan get up to be sure he was alright. Because of this, none of them thought about the massive canine who was standing right in front of them. Its muzzle opened, ready to repeat the action on the next victim. Wolf seen the movement in the corned eye. Her mouth parted, about to shout for her pokemon to dodge even though Unvor didnât allow. It chapped its teeth down on Riolu, nearly swallowing the small creature whole as it whipped its head back and forth. Ryoko let out a series of whines, only to get launched as well into the other size of buildings that lined the street.
The whole thing was like on repeat, the short furred canineâs body slamming into the mostly standing building and falling to the ground. Wolf wasnât sure if she would handle watching her pokemon get hurt so badly. Yes, she was aware this was a game but it felt so real in the moment of time. âNisha esca-â It was too late, the poochyena already snagging the umbreons tail and waving her around like a flag. The player had to look away, it was too much for her animal loving eyes. The cries of pain filled her ears, only turning back when she heard her poor little dark typeâs body hit the ground as well.
That was brutal to say the least. And while the poochyena took a few steps and throw its head back in a celebratory howl, her gaze looked over each of her pokemon. Surprisingly, each got to their feet and quite literally shook off it off. The dirty anyway. In the end, it was only her umbreon who seemed the most damaged as the feline limbed closer to her with an agony in her eyes. âNisha. Sit this out. Let the boys handle his round. Come and rest next to me.â If only healers could heal themselves. The umbreon limbed swiftly up to Wolf, leaning into the players gentle pets before turning to sit next to her. With her little brave healer by her side, there was some unfinished business they needed to take care of.
By this time, the colossal boss was in the idle animation. It waited for them to make the next move. Both the type null and riolu managed to return to their spot in front of her, also waiting for her to call the next move. She took in a deep breath, praying silently that their attacks would do enough damage to end this battle. âDouble Hit and Quick attack.â
Unlike in previous rounds, both creatures moved. The type null leaping upon some rubble to get himself at a higher angle. Meanwhile, the riolu simply charged forward. His arms fell back, running like those ninjas in that anime. His body encased in a white glow, suddenly moving much faster than he has before only to leap last minute to slam into the canines front right shoulder. It hollered in pain, taking a step back. Only, that wasnât all it had to deal with. Ziryan used his environment to his advantage, getting much higher than his battling friend. Once he was at a decent height (eye level), the chimera leaped towards the beastâs right eye and crushed into him.
The dark type cried in pain, thrashing its head while Ziryan bounced off. Only, he landed on the same spot he started from. He pushed off the building again, going for another hit but this time clipping the poocheynaâs side muzzle with his talons. Loud screams of defeat erupted from the boss, stumbling back even more as it tried to recover from all the solid hits. Wolfâs gaze watched the health bar, praying itâs not gunna be one of those boss battles that regain health for another round.

Luckily for the team, it wasnât one of those types of battles.
The extra large poochyena slowly crumbled to the ground in a rather epic cinematic scene of being defeated at last. It emitting a final exhausted breath, blowing any loose dirt or dust at them in a whirl of smoke. It made Wolf sneeze for reasons not even she would understand. Perhaps, just a natural reaction to such a thing. She did let out a series of grumbles while wiping her nose, the fireworks and celebration music chimed throughout the abandoned city.
Pale golden orbs shifted to her pokemon, offering a small smile and praising nod. âWell done. All of you.â Ziryan held his head high, pride radiating off the creature. Riolu thrusted one fist forward, then the other before he puffed toughly. Nishari by her side let out a long soft meow, even purring while she softly nudged Wolfâs arm to get her to pet her. She did of course, scratching the top of the felines head.
Just as she spoke and the team startled to settle, the prompt to claim a poochyena or take the points popped up. It was a no brainer for her, happily taking the dark type as its one she doesnât own yet and she had to always own every canine in every pokemon game ever. Unvor was no exceptation.
