[ti]sticky[/ti] POKEMON REFRESH: How to Play

POKEMON REFRESH

Spending time with your Pokemon has its perks!

 

Between Tall Grass excursions and dungeon crawls, your character and their Pokemon have plenty of extra time to get to know each other. So why don't you? Your bond of friendship might just give you the edge you need!

To start Refresh, please make a new thread in this board for your character. You may post once a day interacting in a meaningful way with a single Pokemon. Doing this will cause this Pokemon's RARITY to temporarily increase by +5, maxing out at Very Rare (+15).

Please note this rarity boost is only temporary, and will "refresh" after one thread where the Pokémon is used in battle.

Refresh posts must be done both IC and OOC before the battle in question— you may not liquid-time your refreshes backwards!

Refresh may also be used to swap between special forms (i.e Rotom, Furfrou, Oricorio.) This does not include regional forms (i.e Vulpix/Alolan Vulpix). Post in General Mod Requests with a link to the Refresh post to have your sprites updated.

When making a Refresh post, try to theme your post around one of the following adorable, friendship-building "game" tasks:

• Petting or accessorizing your Pokémon
• Gathering berries/other materials
• Training with simple props/toys
• Playing games (including board games)
• Cooking/eating a meal together
• Feeding your Pokémon treats
• Cleaning or grooming your Pokémon
• Treating your Pokemon's wounds/illness
