"C'mon! This way! Follow me! I mean, run away from me!"
Rockruff yipped as he circled the herd of Tauros, ears flapping, tongue hanging out of his mouth. His short legs pumped in great bursts, yellow grasses brushing his belly fur. He had no idea what he was doing.
Respiro had been hoping the rock dog would evolve back in the World Event. All the English messages at the time had been confusing, but he thought he'd read something about the moon. It had seemed like a perfect opportunity to change the brown puppy into the moon-loving werewolf Pokemon Lycanroc (midnight form).
But Rockruff had never had that opportunity. Saving Dodrio had been so much more important, and with Respiro himself on the field as a fighter, there had been no room for the eager puppy in a rescue mission with real stakes.
"Are they listening to him?" asked Dodrio. Respiro was currently perched on top of the massive Triple Bird. Its feathers were lush with moss and seedlings, almost to the point where it appeared green from a distance. It was so big he could sit cross-legged on its back comfortably.
"¿" said Respiro, cocking his head to the side.
