A hot, dry, midday sun beat down overhead as bawdy music floated out from the local saloon. The area was certainly named appropriately, and as Taylor made her way through the area she found that she almost felt out of place, lacking a western getup and trusty steed! Mumble at least was certainly getting into character, his usual waddle becoming something more of a tough-guy swagger, and the young woman grinned to see it.

A few other characters milled around the area in pairs or small groups, but at a glance, she wasn’t entirely sure if they were players or minor NPCs. Was there a way to check? Almost certainly. Did she feel like digging into figuring it out right now? Not in the slightest. She was far too occupied keeping an eye on the very out of place penguin she had with her and the Duduo that stuck out just a little less.

Wiping a light sheen of sweat from her brow, Taylor took a seat on the wooden boards of the veranda outside a building that appeared to be some sort of bank. Across the dirt road from where she sat, a number of Blitzle, Ponyta and other equine pokemon stood tethered to a hitching post. Past that could be seen a small pasture of more still – there must be some sort of ride pokemon breeder around here, somewhere. If there was going to be one anywhere, she supposed it made sense for it to be here!
