By the time the question was asked, they were already a stone's throw away from what was called the Corruption Zone (in other words, Mistra). They already passed by Dr. Bunya's laboratory, not as crowded as Comet imagined, but also in line with expectations - the event had been running for quite some time, and players were more interested in the raid rather than what was happening here. It also wasn't like players were all too eager to participate, either. He had been reviewing through the posts of what their experiences were, and based from that, he determined that the "prize" was hoping you can get a sample to latch onto your chosen Pokemon, which can then result to some weird things (they didn't detail much in that part except for one particular result that actually duplicated the Pokemon. He heard a tiny gulp before two yellow lights shined from two small eyeholes, but that wasn't the scary part. Nope, it was because...the light shined on a wall further back, and there was something standing there, dark and goopy and tall; a humanoid creature that Comet might be able to identify as a Pokemon if it weren't for the fact that it was staring them down before opening a very not-Pokemon jaw full of sharp, jagged teeth.

❝RUN!❞ he quickly grabbed Pumpkaboo and ran into the other direction, just before the creature behind them let out an ear-piercing scream.
