"Ugh. Don't do that, Exo," he scolded the Totodile. "I don't exactly know how long the range is on these balls, and I'd rather not find out just because you've run off, got it?"

"C'mon, it's a valid question!" Adrien insisted, putting a hand on his hip before groaning to himself. "And here I am, arguing with a Pokemon. Who is just a bunch of computer code."

<Dile!> Exochomper protested, squawking, before both Trainer and Pokemon went still at the sound of even more scurrying, one of those bright pink ears twitching in the direction of the sound.

"All right, Exo, let's let Wildfyre take a tu-" he began to say, but before he could finish the sentence, let alone actually toss the Pokeball from his belt, the little Totodile was springing forward with a cry, swiping at the Patrat that appeared with a Scratch. "Exo!"
