WHAT MAKES A SUPPORT?


The White Mage of any good party, Support Pokemon act primarily as healers, working hard to keep their teammates on their feet while providing aid to other struggling players in large-scale battles. With the use of their Core Abilities, Support Pokemon can maximize their own and others' power by granting buffs and even reviving fallen comrades.

Equip this option if you're a team player and enjoy optimizing gameplay for yourself and others.

Actions: Basic Attack, Heal, Switch Out

BASIC ATK A standard attack with consistent damage. Inflicts a flat 20 DMG + bonuses on one target.
• Take -10 DMG from the strain.

HEAL Your Pokemon uses their moves to reverse damage rather than inflict it. Make your allotted number of Heals (1 D12 + bonuses) on one or multiple targets. You may add your bonuses to each Heal. Supereffective does not apply!
• Take -10 DMG per Heal from the energy drain.

SWITCH OUT A conscious (non-fainted) Pokemon can be SWITCHED OUT for a different one as an action.
• The new Pokemon may not take actions until next turn.

Core Abilities: Buff, Revive, Escape, Sacrifice

BUFF A single Buff provides a +10 BONUS to all rolls per target and remains until the end of combat. Up to two buffs can stack (capping out at +20 maximum). You may target either yourself or an ally.

REVIVE A Support Pokemon may spend its remaining HP to REVIVE a single fainted target. The revived Pokemon will be restored with the same HP the Support had last, and may resume battling on their next turn. The Support Pokemon will faint after activating this ability.

ESCAPE Activate Escape to immediately switch out of battle without sacrificing the new Pokemon's turn. Any buffs are passed on to the new Pokemon. This ability can also be used to quickly move across large combat zones.

SACRIFICE In a heroic sacrifice for the greater good, choose a target on the field to 100% Protect from damage this round at the cost of your own remaining HP. Your Pokemon will faint after activating this ability.
