Patch 0.1 is here, and with it, the opening of Beta Island! This glorious, sunlit isle is just a hop, skip and a shipwreck away from the Asper mainland, and is full of lush, untextured jungle, buggy beaches, and Pokemon that run according to their programming.

"Wanna bet?" To be fair, she knows Orm is probably right and that the odds of finding another one of his kin are incredibly low, but when have low odds ever stopped Tuesday? Give her enough time fishing and she's sure another Dratini will appear eventually. With that in mind, she casts her line, and the Dragonair yawns, watching the water to see what bites.

On the back end of the beautiful gold-patterned Magikarp is a (less-beautiful) Gible, whose stubby teeth are clamped around the fish's scaly midsection. On the back end of the less-beautiful Gible is a beautiful (again) Bergamot Gristleborg, who emerges from the water without a hair out of place. The effect is unnerving-- the villainess's oversized forehead breaks the surface without even a ripple, her Swimmer ability treating the liquid just like air. She proceeds to rise out of the shallows like a cardboard cake topper, already smiling smugly. "A-ha! Fishing for sharks, are we?" Morgana steps out of the water, stepping smartly over to Tuesday. The catgirl was extremely familiar to her, but she pretended not to recognize her (lol) in typical annoying Morgana fashion. *"Unfortunately for you, the only sharks in the water are me and this Glooble."* She gestured leisurely-ly to the land shark, who as a ground-type had not enjoyed this fishing trip as much as her trainer. Morgana faced off against Tuesday, wobbling in her stilettos on the rocky shoreline. It did nothing to negate her confidence. "It's been awhile since I've done this. Prepare to be kill-stole!"

The sheer level of unimpressed Tuesday is capable of reaching appears to increase tenfold every single time she hears one of Bergamot Gristleborg cartoonish villain speeches. We know the drill by now: refusing to indulge the girl, it's with the most deadpan of stares that she watches her entrance, Swimmer subclass abilities being in full display. Once Tuesday gets the gist of it and has had enough of watching, her attention turns to the Pokémon that bites down on her catch. "That's a dragon, no? It counts." <'It doesn't count.'> Orm sighs, still coiled by her side. "It totally counts." <'Yeah, yeah... Aren't you gonna do something about the Magikarp? She did just say she'd steal your kill. You good with that?'> "Good point... I'm not. Can't let the enemy win, etcetera, etcetera. Aqua Tail." And so, with one swift smack from the Dragonair's long and majestic tail, the Magikarp is dealt with and Morgana is kill-stole.

As Tuesday refuses to yield to Morgana's incredible beauty, charisma, and mermaid-like sensuality, Morgana refuses to stop her monologue. *"You know, back in Beta they called me Magikarp Morgana.* That's how many Magikarp I spirited away from unsuspecting trainers,"** she boasted, though she'd really only successfully stolen one (and from manish, the most helpless character on UNOVR.) But that was all to change now. Here and now at the lake in the Misty Timberlands, Bergamot Riddle would reclaim her Magikarp-stealing throne. She needed another M word to complete the title. One that meant stealing. Marauding. Molesting? No... Though the way her Gible had its jaw locked around the koi's back half didn't exactly seem consensual. "Mishandling? Muscling? Magikarp-Muscling Morgana?" she mused aloud, tapping her foot. *"Tuesday, you're supposed to be good at poetry. You could* stand to offer a suggestion."** Never mind that her monologue had been entirely in her head. Thwack. Mishandling indeed. Magikarp and Gible went flying. Bergamot was indignant. *"Killstealing- killstolling me?* You'll pay for this!"** She threw her Golden Pokeball in the water, making a big splash.
