Kath felt a cold shock in her stomach as PSY Duck's neck extended unnaturally with displaced cosmic bodies. Not that PSY Duck's neck was EVER natural, but still. She took a step back. She was feeling helpless. "Where's Bulby when I need him, huh?" She tried to laugh, but all that came out was a sharp exhale. The PSY Duck looked down at her, its orbular eyes scanning her for weakness. Weakness that was not well hidden. "Look, look," she said, "I did your dance, yeah? So you can help me with this puzzle thing, right?" "ěŹě´ë"
"Okay, good, I think," Kath turned her attention to the starsigns. She wasn't helpless so long as she could TRY to get herself out of this mess! "First up, the nunchucks," she pointed. "PSY DuckâŚ"
"There's two of them. So the answer must be two! Two stars go into the nunchucks." "PSY Duck?"
"It doesn't matter if I'm right or wrong, diva already overloaded that one."
"PSY Duck." "Next up, an hourglass with horns. Ah, jeez, that's gotta be 6."
"PSY Duck?"
Kath scoffed. "Hourglass, time, 12 hours on a clock. Two horns, horns divide, so the answer is 12 divided by 6. Duh!"
" PSY Duck," PSY Duck shrugged. Which looked horrific, by the way, because its shoulders didn't match its elongated spine AT ALL. "Allotta Bambooga and orioncayge already pumped up the hourglass, so that's out too! What next? A pair of familiar mamalian twins!" Kath frowned. "What the hell does that mean?" "Hmmm PSY Duck?" "You're so stupid. Obviously we're counting the LEGS of the MAMMALS. Mammals have four legs, always," Kath explained, " so the answer will be 8." "Oh, PSY Duck," PSY Duck conceded. Kath stared at the next thing. She squinted her eyes. It was a stretched, serpentine body with a flast disk at one end. "Wait a minute."
"PSY Duck?"
"These are numbers."
"...PSY Duck."
"No, they're LITERALLY NUMBERS," Kath pointed. " They're the shape of numbers! A serpentine body with a flat disk. That's a fucking number five!"
PSY Duck's bill hung limp. "PSY⌠DUCKâŚ"
PSY Duck blinked, and saw the serpent for what it was. 5"Yeah! Yeah!" Kath grinned. "Nunchucks are probably three, So diva messed up. Hourglass is number eight, for sure!""PSY Duck!"
"Alright. Let's put one star into the hourglass, because that'll make it eight!" Kath grinned. "I'm a crafty bitch. And put five into the serpent." "PSY Duck," said PSY Duck, as it sent its stars into the ether. "We got 1 left?" Kath looked at Laguna and Tuesday putting their stars into the wedged winged thing."I dunno, fuck it, keep one," she said, still pretty scared.7 STARS 5 STARS INTO SERPENT (5 TOTAL) 1 STAR INTO HOURGLASS (8 TOTAL) 1 STAR STILL IN PSY DUCK'S LONG NECK (1 TOTAL)

Manish found while falling into the Precipice pit that there is a certain level of relief that comes from being correct, from all his fears being right, from the validation of knowing that he should have given up. That he was always going to let everyone down, he was destined to run away. The free fall, the inky black of the nothingness around him, it was everything he already knew. Manish was always going to be the one crying, always the one people said goodbye to, that the truth hurt and he deserved that. Wouldnât it just be easier if he let this happen? If he just accepted Chandaâs honesty and let himself fall forever? Heâs just so tired. Heâs been tired for so long with his aching heart and his fear of never admitting it out loud. Inside he always knew what was going on and maybe thatâs why he really joined Chanda Mamaâs game; he was always going to play the game because he wanted it all to stop. While the others around him were acting and helping their dance partners, Manish just closed his eyes and let the fear wash over him. Unfortunately his depressed reverie was interrupted by something suddenly hitting him in the face. Manish sputtered and opened his eyes to see what was ruining his very nice acceptance of his fate. Rick Gastly fell next to him, taped on pants flapping wildly around and now occasionally smacking Manish. With an unhappy grunt Manish started to bat at the pants. Didnât they know he was having a moment? He was trying to be swallowed by his fear and self-loathing! But the now multi-eyed Rick Gastlyâs poorly thought out outfit had other plans. Despite his attempts, he just could not get the flailing pant legs to leave him alone. Manish let out a long sigh. He just could not catch a break. Fine, if thatâs what they wanted to do, he would just have to make this part of the game stop so he could get back to suffering. Manish twisted his body around till he could reach over far enough to pull the pants from Rick Gastly's body. While he was there, he figured he should also start plucking the eye-like stars from Rick Gastlyâs cloud. Oh it was gross, that was too many eyes and as he pulled the first star loose it gave a horrifying shloorp noise that Manish was certain was going to haunt him for the rest of his life. Gross, gross, gross Manish chanted in his head, but continued his task. One by one he pulled the stars from Rick Gastly and sent them off towards the constellations Chanda Mama was drawing. He really wasnât paying much attention to where they were going, just tossing them towards whichever constellation was closest to him at the time. 5 stars into a pair of familiar, mammalian twins (10 total) 3 stars into a stretched, serpentine body with a flat disk at one end (8 total)

#s://cdn~discordapp~com/attachments/1026108981845954581/1026109102574800896/morgana_again~png Morgana did not rise to expectations. She sank, like shattered ships and broken busts at the bottom of the Aegean Sea.
But that, too, was part of Chanda Mamaâs plan.
She knew. The Swimmerâs heart beat in great gulps as she sank deeper into the shrine, drowning, desperate. She knew what I was going to do.
Her partnerâs shoulders splintered as another head emerged, breaching like a trapped whale. It joined the mournful song of the first, a farewell dirge to the impossible dream of open-world.
You can do anything. They know what you'll do. You are free. You have always been bound. You can write your own story. You are following a plot.
She could feel herself fracture.
As she floated in free-fall, skirts fanning out around her like the bell of a jellyfish, the self-proclaimed villainess slowly brought her knees up to her chest. She tucked them under her chin. She wrapped her arms around them. Numb. Cold. Alone. An asteroid floating in the void of space. Pointless. Predetermined.
Why care at all?
âŚ
...Who cared what people expected?
â...Did you expect this?â
She unfolded like a paper crane, arms spreading wide like wings.
âDid you expect this?â Bergamot said, pulling a basketball out of her inventory and kicking it towards the closest constellation. âDie! Did you expect this?â Bergamot sliced off a chunk of her own hair and threw it temperamentally at the moon-spirit, the chestnut strands separating, scattering in zero gravity. âNo!â
Control her?! Control her?
âDid you expect this?â Bergamot seized Celine Dionyx by the back of her (second) neck, pulling her in close. She hesitated and then kissed her, roughly, teeth against teeth, tasting her own fear like starlight. â...Sorry, Celine Dionyx.â
âNo problem, sweetie,â said the head on the left. The head on the right showed her teeth, wolf-colored, humorless. âIâve had a lot worse.â
Cut off the hydraâs head, and two grow in its place. Cut off a personâs lifeline, and sheâll spin herself a safety net. In Morgana's case, it was a safety armada.
âDid you expect this?â Bergamot equipped Kindler. Sparks showered from the corners of her mouth like a weapon at the forge.
âDid you expect this?â Bergamot brought up her knee and snapped her own finger backwards over the top of it, like breaking kindling.
âDid you expect this?â Bergamot hissed in another thread, biting back screams, her broken finger pointing, trembling, at the title. âDid you expect anything so meta?!â
Did you expect her to cower? Expect her to crumple? Expect her to rise up, rise to the challenge, rise to greatness? Burn her stars? Keep them all? Win the game? Lose, and suffer the consequences?!
âNone of that is true.â
She plucked a row of stars from her partnerâs chest like buttons, stone folds falling away in waves of satin, and hurled the handful into the incomplete breast of a different serpent. Only one star she kept, still shining pale behind her teeth. Its taste lingered on her tongue. Not sweet. Not hot. It was bitter, like old tears.
âIâm not afraid to play your game, The Ice is Right, And youâre to blame. Chanda Mama, win or lose Braille or Fail Itâs mine to choose. For when all is said and done, Not even I know whatâs to come. Claim my credit, Claim my will, and Iâll continue playing still. Spirit, I will not be claimed Keep your stars, Iâll keep my name.â

So... this seemed like a trap.
Chandra Mama promises prizes! Even has the untold generosity to provide two whole stars for them to use to spin more than once!
But the wheel takes three stars. If she harvests the stars from her dance partner she can spin a total of three times with one star left over. Allotta gives a long look at the two stars in her hand and then over to Taillow Swift. The bird celebrity tosses her feathered hair over her shoulder and almost seems to stare through Allotta's soul with her big, bird eyes.
It makes her uncomfortable.
Yet she should really do something with these two loose stars! She could give them to Taillow Swift... but when the other had more stars it had made her scared. She didn't want to repeat that.
So, opening her mouth, Allotta tilts her head back and tips the two stars into her mouth. They feel oddly cold as they slide down her throat and settle in her stomach. Like swallowing ice whole but not quite.
Shrugging, Allotta steps forward with her belly full of stars. May as well spin since no one else has yet!
"Indeedee! Thank you for this gift! Just one spin, I don't want to grift!"
A big thumbs up is given to both Chandra Mama and the celestial Indeedee. The latter of which grabs the spinner and tugs.
Allotta Swallows her two stars! She spins the wheel Once!

Relief flooded her body when she realized that she had guessed correctly. The chain in the middle that was the correct answer. Five. Five. Five. She did her best not to flinch when the Honedge wrapped around her body. A weapon. Now that she moderately understood. And wondered if she was going to have to fight whatever creature it was that was lurking in the depths. Eating the spare stars... She wondered if it got stronger, like the constellations, when it ate the stars that fell to the ground. Or more unstable... It would make sense. That would be something that Chanda Mama would do to them.
Staying out of the way of the other players she skirted the edge a bit. Looking at the wheel to see if she could figure out any rhyme or reason to it all. Obviously there were bad choices and good choices. But with it being random there was no way to tell which was which. And things were tricky regardless of what you thought you knew when it came to the Moon Goddess herself. Regardless. She wasn't going to be taking any stars from her compatriot either. The five she had taken were enough to make sure they got the answer right. But just barely. And she would rather have him whole than unstable for whatever the Chanda Mama had planned next.
"Also just one spin for me, I would never ask Mr. Hadeerling for his three."
Not when he only had five left. If she had done a little bit better in the first round maybe she would have more to spare. But she wasn't the creative type. She was the logical type. And that was just fine with her. After all, it had gotten her this far hadn't it?

The shift in tone was jarring, the stars came alight and began their song and their dance. When he'd signed up to dance with stars, he wasn't quite sure what he expected but it most certainly wasn't dancing with poke stars, and certainly not actual literal celestial bodies. His gaze followed the red string to his now supposed linked partner, red string was a powerful symbol and the fact that he'd been tied to Manish? Well, he supposed he'd seen some badassery from the timid man before.
Maybe lightning would strike twice.
Their plumet seemed to be paused, it was after all, the bonus round. The wheel towered over him tantalizing, but the bargain was more likely Faustian than fair, and any boons on it were more likely to come with some form of bane attached. Yet, Orion lived in a land where fortune favored the bold, in order to win big you had to play big, and that meant it was time to spin that fucking wheel. He would take the freebie, letting the Indeedee give the wheel a whirl, calling out an ancestral chant.
"BIG MONEY! NO WHAMMIES!"
He came from the city of sin, and he wasn't afraid to go for another spin. Granbulton coughed up an extra star and he paid the star toll for another roll. His form began to flicker and stutter worryingly, but these spins could change the game. They could be anything, even more stars, and they would most certainly help with whatever was lurking out in the distance, presumably heading their way. GPpJdN261-121-121-12¡1-12

A Bonus Round?
It seemed odd that this was all planned from the start, but she had to remind herself yet again that this was all a game. Even as she fought to overcome the remnants of her fears, she watched the wheel spin for everyone before her with great intrigue. Not to mention, her eyes focus on the other players with a line of blood trailing from them, into the darkness. That certainly can not be a good sign.
As hesitant as she was to trust Chanda Mama after that, what did she have to lose at this point? Her dignity? The game might be able to draw upon emotions she already felt, but it couldn't just create new ones, could it? She'd take a look at Gallade Gadot and her form, celestial body whole for now. The two of them smiled at one another, silently understanding.
Laguna would not harm their body, not again. If the game had its way with its current sense of humor, they'd take Gadot's legs. And there was really only so much cruel irony that she could take.
Was it because she thought about it so much, that the game kept finding ways to bring it up? A curious thought, but one perhaps to be explored later when there wasn't a timer counting down in the form of a living hourglass.
"For me, just one roll! I'd rather my partner stay whole!"

PSY Duck screamed in terror as Kath pounced on him. Her pupils were dilated, black and cold as she ripped the star out of his neck. "Give me it!" She said. "PSY DUUUUU-" PSY Duck exclaimed, as Kath tore two more stars out of his neck. "Look, I'm really sorry," she said, wrenching another star out. "But I'm not walking away from this empty handed PLUS you brainwashed me into dancing PLUS you're a duck."PSY Duck was silent. His breathing was shallow, and his bill was becoming transparent. Kath wordlessly reached down and took the rest of his stars. PSY DUCK HAS NO STARS
" Three spins, baby," Kath said, her eyes greedily dancing across the wheel. 6yBxCBAa1-121-121-12Kath kept two stars for herself, throwing them up in the air and catching them with one hand. She held the other hand out for her well-earned prizes 1-12¡1-12¡1-12

Well, now that Morgana was done raging against The Man, she was ready to win some prizes. Put Chryssa in the dark, and she'd claw her own eyes out before she'd admit you manage to turn the lights out on her. Put her in the dark with a giant prize wheel, and someone was suddenly ready to talk game show. "Oh my. A bonus round!" the villainess said, cradling her injured hand. "How very... timely."She had been punctured, injected, self-brutalized, gifted, and marked with a blood-red path that seemed like a one-way track ending at Starcatch Station. The grueling rhymes had rhymed and grueled, but now-- at last-- it was time for her to play. She gave no warning of what she was planning. She merely turned to face her partner, then--swiftly, like butchering a chicken-- she sliced three stars from the singer's stone body. Shhhhck. The serpent-tail dissolved into stardust. Shhhhck. The partially exposed torso went next. Shhhhck. Collarbones, neck, and ears, leaving nothing but a hollow mask behind. Thoughtfully, with her non-injured hand, Bergamot lifted it up. "Alas, poor Celine," the Kindler said, making a Hamlet reference she was confident nobody had ever heard of. "I know humans can pack bond with anything, but you are the personification of an irrational fear and I will destroy you sooner or later! Your company is still appreciated, mind." "Cruel, but fair," said the stone face, its last two stars glowing like flashlight beams behind its eyes. "You may come to regret that, child.""Why? Because of that dissolving skull emoji? I'd rather have my skull dissolve than live my life in fear of what fate brings. Spin the wheel, Indeedee," Morgana said, spinning around to show the hourglass figure how it was done. The shimmering ribbon of Gorebyss flowed from her fingers, ready to nudge the odds in her favor. "'Gana wants a new car!" sDzBqk|s1-121-121-12 Freebie - 3 Stars Left - 3 Stars from Celine Dionyx shifting down to 3, 4, 5 with gorebyss power 1-12¡1-12¡1-12

Miss Day is not in the mood to be told what to do. Gambling sure wasn't in her plans for tonight. Now, see, some people out there would say that everything you do in life is a gamble and blah blah blah. What would Tuesday say to that? Bullshit. If you work hard and keep at it, you can always get what you want, even if it takes time. Yeah, sure, life sends some people down easier and shorter paths, and all that, but whining is for little bitches and while she may be short that title sure isn't one that belongs to this catgirl. She is the master of her own fate, and if she's going to win some seemingly random (probably not at all random) reward or punishment, she sure as hell isn't going to leave it up to whatever that thing spinning the wheel is, much less up to Chanda Mama. Funnily enough, despite what many would expect of her, she's not the one in the mood for slaughter today (although she is quite impressed by the actions of both Kath Ulu and Bergamot Gristleborg. Well played!) "Don't worry, you demonic steel knight. I may be a Freezer and thus coldblooded, but I'll obviously need you for what comes next, and so it seems you live to rock another day." Or another few minutes, depending on what happens next.Tuesday's turn comes and she only makes use of her free spin, but instead of giving the command to the Indeedee, she steps forward with grace and pride. She steps right up to Chanda Mama's blood red line. Golden cat ears twitch once, and when mismatched eyes fall upon the personification of the moon, the mischievous grin that illuminates Tuesday's expression is nothing short of Cheshire-like. A limerick is spoken for a moon that loves rhymes: "O Chanda Mama, did I hear you fine? Was it 'Don't step past the thin, red, line'? If I swim or hop or glide If I dance or cha cha slide Then by all means, I won't be out of line." Yeah, yeah, rhyming 'line' with 'line' is way beneath Tuesday, but she'll take the hit for the sake of nice wordplay. True to her logic, she does as she says, and since this is Dancing With The Stars (On Ice), it's with all the unnatural and programed ice skating talent of a Freezer that she glides over the ice, right pass the thin red line â leaning backwards and limbo'ing under it for good measure as well. A beautiful cantilever, for the figure skating afficionados out here. To stop, she grabs onto the wheel, shooing away the hourglass-shaped Indeedee. "Now, now, let's see..."Tack, tack... The wheel moves by Tuesday's hand, all the short way from Bergamot Gristleborg's four to the six marked by a star key. Yes, a star key. The key to the stars. It's the obvious choice in Tuesday's book. "Hmm... Yes, I think I'll take this one."And with that said, she skates away, under the line once again. As if nothing had just happened. But, will the wheel do as she wishes? It moves just as she turns...
{OOC} Including a roll because it may be IC for Tuesday to try to rig the game, but I wanna follow the rules LMAO Feel free to give her the result of this if you want and have her potentially make a fool of herself ajHOKX3L1-12 1-12

Defeating his greatest foeâa pair of flapping pantsâwas apparently the boost in morale that Manish needed. As each star was thrown into a constellation he felt himself grow lighter, like maybe he didnât actually carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. It also helped that the scene was quite beautiful. Watching the constellations come to life was, quite frankly, awe inspiring. Sure, Chanda Mama was a slightly malevolent trickster, but she did know how to put on a hell of a show. Or shows, as from what Manish could tell they were transitioning from a dancing competition to a game show. Of course it couldnât be that simple, though. He had to go and get himself tied to Orion. That guy was so cool! What if he did something embarrassing and made Orion hate him? Oh that would just ruin him. Manish resolved to be very cool and composed to impress Orion and maybe become friends with the guy. After all, they had almost sort of ran into each other enough times that they could theoretically be friends. Maybe. Possibly, if Manish actually worked up the nerve to talk to him. Step one of being cool: ignore the worrying trial of blood coming out of him and disappearing into the void. Step two: donât get overly excited about spinning a game show wheel just because he kind of recognized the premise. Manish wasnât often allowed to watch shows that didnât contain his parents, but there were a few daytime television exceptions and he definitely recognized the basic idea of the wheel. Step three: donât be a total coward and only use his two stars. Orion did two spins, taking one from his dancing partner, surely if Manish only did one spin he would forever be seen as the loser he definitely is. Time to be brave. âRick Gastly? Can I? I mean, is it okay if, would it be uh, I mean,â Manish whispered quietly to his partner. The Gastly gave a loud chuckle before responding <Inside, we both know what's been going on. We know the game and we're gonna play it.>Manish gave his partner a grateful nod. âIn exchange you can, I mean, Iâll, um, Iâll protect you with this uh, the weird shard thing we got from the uh, the thing.â He plucked a star from Rick Gastly to add to the two he already had. âMiss Vandeedee White? Two spins please.â As the wheel was spun, Rick Gastly happily bounced around and provided a little ditty to add to the drama of the spin. Fs_qJ6OB1-121-12 1-12¡1-12

Chanda Mama driving off in a Firecracker Red Freedom TopÂŽ Three-Piece Hardtop 2023 Jeep Wrangler wasnât exactly what Manish saw coming, but he also doesnât think he was capable of being surprised by Chanda antics anymore. Manish was even fairly certain he could hear an obscure beat come from Chanda's radio as they disappeared into the distance Really being left to die by Chanda seems like the only possible conclusion of how things were going to end. And this was definitely the end. Even if The Starcatch doesnât eat him, the very large stream of blood leaving him was going to bring him to an end. The least he could do was try to save others. His heart has been aching for so long, but heâs always been too shy to say it. Not anymore. He wasnât going to let his fear stop him from making some friends before being likely consumed or bleeding out. âUm, excuse me? Uh, hi, orioncayge . We uh, well, I just really think that um, that youâre neat and uh, with the whole âconnected by a mystical constellationâ uh, thing,â Manish raised his hand to point at the crimson thread that connected them, âI just, sorry this is weird. But you should get out. And I, I think I can help! With uh, with you getting out. Um, okay, sorry, this is weird. Sorry, let me just, uh,â Manish floated as close as he could to Orion before pressing the Triskelion Seed into Orionâs wound. âSorry, I know itâs not okay to um, touch someone without permission. Iâm sorry. But uh, hopefully that uh, helps?â Oh jeez he was so embarrassed. Was that weird? It felt so weird. There was a large part of Manish that almost wanted to swim into the void and let The Starcatcher eat him right then and there. But he still had to at least try to get Rick Gastly out. What else did he have to help? For all the spins he and Orion did, they really didnât get anything to help with his particular situation. But he did have ink and a dagger, so that was going to have to be good enough. Manish tried to spray the ink all over Rick Gastly, but it exploded in his hands and ended up covering both of them in the oily substance. Not what he was particularly going for, but he didnât have time to be grossed out by the ink. Now for the dagger. Manish wasnât much for fighting and really didnât think that he would be able to do much in actual close quarters combat. With all his strength, he chucked the dagger at The Starcatcher. Hopefully that would slow it down at least enough for him to get Rick Gastly out. âGo, go, go, come on, Rick Gastly, you gotta get out of here!â Manish pleaded as he pushed the Gastly towards the fluttering wedge-winged constellation. But Rick Gastly had other plans. <Iâm not going to give you up!> Rick Gastly argued as he flipped himself around to be the one doing the pushing. âRick, itâsâŚitâs too late for me. Please, donât worry about me, you need to go!â As the two awkwardly wrestled each other towards the supposed exit, Manish bumped into one of the pokeballs from the shattered loot panel. What if there was a pokemon in there? Would they also be eaten by The Starcatcher if he left it behind? It would slow him down, but there was no way Manish could leave behind the pokeball now. With one hand Manish grabbed the pokeball and the other continued to bat at Rick Gastly. 5OUYa4dR1-12 -3(Heavily bleeding) +1(Gorebyss Ink) +1(Honedge Dagger) -2(Grabbing pokeball) Total: 2 1-12

It would appear that all hell was breaking loose. The bedlam began as the "prizes" were passed out, boon and bane wielded with equal flippant derision for the players. Wounds were won, prizes plundered, and then Chanda mama popped into her Jeep and floored it the fuck out of there as the Starcatcher came for them. The makeshift stage they'd been on began to crumble, and so had the façade of this gameshow. They'd started with Dancing with the stars, the evolved to fear factor, the devolved to wheel of fortune, and now? They were playing Survivor. Orion watched as Manish stepped towards him going to work working on his own wounds, gritting his teeth slightly. He'd been the one to roll the twelve and fuck them both over, and yet here the man was taking the healing item he had for himself, and using it on the thug who'd fugged the pooch on his spin. The poor guy was a wreck, stumbling over his words as he went about helping him out. Orion would clap both hands on the stammering mess's shoulders and steady him for a moment, locking eyes with him. "You're the man, manish. Cept I think we should honestly drop the -Ish part, nothing ish about how manly your are. Maybe add a different suffix, Isimo? Manisimo? I like it. Lemme pay you back real quick eh?" He would take his own seed and mend the wounds on his newfound friend and partner, severing the trail of blood the cosmic horror that was after them would use as a beacon to hunt them. Shooting the other man an award winning grin he would give him a push towards the exit before setting his eyes on Laguna. She was bleeding but he didn't have anything except...he would take off his bandanna and toss it to her. "Ay Blue, I think we're gonna have to call this one a wash. Judges fucked off too soon before I could style on you, which sucks cause I could have gone all night. I think that thing's gonna smell the blood so bandage up and lets fucking go."Orion turned away from the wheel and the beast going apeshit, and addressed his partner, Granbulton who was flickering slightly in the darkness. "Time to make like a chip and get the fuck out of here.""Less go."Like a bat out of hell, Orion made a mad dash for what he thought was the light at the end of this narrative tunnel. Pounding his feet as hard as he could against the void, the metal shive clutched firmly in his hand ready to slash at anything in his way. nCuirp9q1-12+1 from spooky ink +1 from the knife 1-12
