The almighty CRASH still ringing in her ears, Taylor groaned. Shoving herself up into a seated position, she took a few precious moments to stretch out aching muscles, grimacing at the popping and clicking of joints. “Well that was just rude,” she grouched, considering the move the wild Pokemon had pulled a cheap tactic.
A quick sweep through her UI showed that her team was healed, though it was her that had taken the brunt of the damage, anyway. At least she couldn’t see Tamara here now, so presumably the teen was back there chipping away at it again. With another groan she dragged herself back to her feet and hobbled away.

The defeat of a Yanma and the downsize of her HP pool had lead to the little girl returning to this particular shrine, this was one she rather liked visiting if she were honest: Her HP wasn’t completely gone as of yet though it was doubtful she would last another attack or two against anything else if it came down to it, that’d be a pain in the butt to have to come back here again with zero HP so of course, it made some sense to get it out of the way.
The girl moved, slowly kneeling down at the base of the trunk to pray.

It was unfortunate, but here she was again. Despite her best efforts, her pokemon had been close to wiped out in terms of hp. A visit to the shine was in order, though it felt weird. Pale golden orbs took in the large tree, silently admiring its beauty. A place so calm, to peaceful. Her gaze lifted to the upper branches, spotting the fire bird that rest within. The woman bowed, gingerly placing her fennekin on the ground to be healed.

As per usual, Moltres slumbers high up in the branches of the Noonlight Shrine, her technicolour flames shining bright yet not burning a single leaf or twig. Tuesday watches the fire legend for a moment, and when doing so, she smirks, reminded of fierce battles and of flames that burned through everything.
Well... Not everything. They sure didn't do much against the corruption back then, but Tuesday did destroy a greenhouse with them and looked damn cool in the process.
Good times.
"Thanks for the heals. I'll see you around." Is what she tells the legend before turning away.

Verai stood in the sunlight, trying to wring out his clothes. Kitten laid on the grass near him, soaked through, trying to dry out in the heat. <I don't like that thing.> She said, sides heaving as she spoke.
"I know, Kitten." Verai said, shaking out his hair with his fingers.

The need to return to hte shrine again and again any time to heal was rather frustrating and the girl couldn’t resist wishing that there was like, some kind of timed healing included. PErhaps if she shot the Dev’s a request they would look into putting some kind of Heal After A Day In Real Life Passes thing? If not she supposed she could always just get her Tall Grass EXP raised as high as she could possibly manage so… yeah. The child huffed as she knelt down toward the ground, hand resting against the large tree Moltres was on.

M'Foxy stood a ways from the shrine. Gex pattered back over, shaking himself out. M'Foxy could feel Moltres watching her, a bright and painful presence. She ignored them. "You ready, Gex?"
<Yeah. Let's go show them what we can do!>
M'Foxy didn't blink. "Yeah, let's.

For the first time in a long time, Orion arrived to this shrine. He'd not much cared for this particular region, adventuring only once or twice. Yet this time he had purpose. A long time ago he'd helped play a role in the ascension of the great and mighty Moltres, and now he had a fledgeling egg to hatch. It needed to soak in the primal energy of it's progenitor, and feel it's roots.
It didn't hurt that Orion could have used a top off for him and his team.

Kneeling before the shrine, comprised largely of a very large tree, the child couldn’t help but wonder what it was that kept drawing her back toward this particular Shrine. Whatever it was the kid kept finding herself popping in here where needed and, with a few absent minded thoughts as to why the girl placed her hands on the large tree’s thick trunk, glancing at Roman briefly to see the Torchic doing the same, booth offering their prayers before continuing on with what they would be needing to do.

It always felt a little like cheating to duck out of a wild pokemon battle mid-way to top up on health at a shrine. As she stood now, palm pressed firmly against the bark of the tree, she reflected on that. Obviously it was a mechanic and so intended, but she couldn’t help but be glad the wild pokemon didn’t seem aware of it! If the individuals they fought knew the trainers could pause the whole thing to heal whenever danger loomed, she couldn’t help but think they might be pissed!
Healing received, she shrugged with a grin and headed back into the fight.

This place, the Birchwild, supposedly was overtaken by corruption once. Some people say corruption still lurks here, likely far from this shrine where a slumbering Moltres stands guard.
It feels different from Mistra, though.
Is it wrong that he's curious? That he wonders what would happen if he interacted with corruption in this place? And what if he went to Mistra again?
Moltres might have some answers as to what this mysterious parasitic force really is, but as per usual, she sleeps.

Tiernan enjoyed Noonlight Shrine- it was soothing and peaceful, and even when his pokemon were well, he would return. To sit, to meditate, to bask in the warm sunlight and fallen leaves. It was serenity and solace, and Tiernan let his eyes close. The breeze ruffled his hair, leaves rustling as they flitted among the breeze. It was calm, and quiet, and for a moment this wasn't a game of achievements or quests, but a simple forest.

Kitten ran to the Shrine, sides heaving. She wasn't going to lose- not in front of a new friend! Purrai would be disappointed... <MOLTRES!!!> Kitten yelled, as loud as she could. <Make me strong enough to win!!!> The legendary just seemed to sigh, twisting away as it continued to sleep.

Hunting steel-types for the professor had just so happened to have the unintended side effect of bringing Taylor to the shrines much more frequently. Klink and Magnemite weren’t generally a problem, but the more fierce Duraludon were easily able to take a big ole chucnk out of a player’s HP before they could be taken down.
So it was that the Black Belt found herself back here again, palm pressed against the rough bark of the ancient tree, eyes peering up into the branches to the legendary that rested there.

The shrine is gorgeous. Saint approaches the ancient tree, eyes wide at the aura it emits. The leaves look as if they’ve been burnished gold as light streams from above, and as he reaches close enough to peek at the branches, he’s dumbfounded by the sight of an honest to god Moltres nesting peacefully in the tree.
“Is that supposed to be here?” He can’t help but lament out loud. The legendary bird doesn’t stir, his voice too soft, his persona too unremarkable, but he thinks it impressive to have seen one at all.
“A pokemon like that isn’t usually encountered so early in pokemon games,” he explains to Gumball, who seems more interested in trying to touch one of the little glowing lights that drift down from the tree. A trick of the lighting?
Regardless, Saint carefully approaches the shrine, and left without instruction, tries to touch it. “Please heal Gumball,” he asks the tree.
