She was starting to feel like a regular here right now. Athysh sighed as she made her way through the grove and toward the Noonlight Shrine. She was starting to wonder if she was doing something wrong. This had to be her third time here, today alone. Athysh felt horrible, because Artemis was taking the brunt of the damage, and it wasn't a pretty sight to see.
She worried about Artemis, which was why she made her way to the shrine as quickly as she could. Once she was at the tree, she touched it lightly. A silent prayer was made to the shrine, and she looked at the leaves. She wondered if there was something more that she could do to make this easier on herself. To try and get better.
As she wondered this, she felt the power come from the tree, and took her hand from it. Athysh grabbed Artemis' pokeball, and she let the Rowlet out. "Let's go do what we can. Take it easy, and learn as we go." Artemis said nothing, but, they made their way from the shrine and back to their goals.

Visits to shrines are part of the game's routine. For Yuze, there is no spiritual aspect to it. Still... It is an interesting part of the game's lore, isn't it? Shrines erected to worship the legends of old. Legends that sometimes roam through this world, and who players can even have copies of.
Up there, on the branches, Moltres sleeps. A living deity. It's a curious thing, but for some reason or another, the sight of it results to be somewhat... comforting.

"I've heard you hatched when they fought the corruption in the Birchwild." Yuze says, despite knowing all too well that it's very unlikely that the sleeping Moltres will answer. In truth, she had read about it in r/UNOVR, because as of late, this Parasite development had caught Vera's scientific interest. It opens certain possibilities.
"Did they purge all the corruption before it got to you or is there some in you?" He's musing out loud, of course, because he can't help but wonder what would have happened if they hadn't. Would this UNOVR have a Galarian Moltres instead? Dark and corrupted. Honestly? It sounds kind of amazing.

She was still a bit shaken after that trip into the corruption zone. Athysh shivered as she walked through the Birchwild Grove to get to the Noonlight Shrine. Artemis wasn't with her, not right now. Artemis had taken the brunt of the damage, and was currently knocked out in her pokeball. Athysh, though, she had some wounds that didn't want to heal. The system said to go to a shrine to heal up, so that was what she was doing.
Perhaps, if she were to go into the corruption zone again, she might take Truffle. He had more health to be able to handle the corruption, but, Athysh also didn't know if she wanted to go through that mental torture again. Athysh stopped before the shrine, and looked up at it. For a game, it played the horror genre very well, and she was impressed.
But, right now, she was going to go pokemon hunting again, so she lightly touched the shrine, feeling the energy, and healing effect as her wounds healed, and Artemis burst out of her pokeball.

The sight of the tree is familiar now; filled with a certain sense of comfort. Muin has always loved nature, and when faced with a tree that heals and reinvigorates all that is near it, perhaps feelings like those are inevitable.
Regardless, it's not something he would ever share with anyone. He quietly stands by the tree, a hand tracing the bumps and ridges in its bark before stepping away and back into the Birchwild.

“Ooh,” Tam cooed as she moved towards the tree. The huge Moltres perched in the tree drew the eye first, and she admired it for a moment, interested to see that while its flames smouldered, the branches and boughs of the trees did not catch.
She’d had no reason to come to any of the shrines before, but with her HP now at rock bottom, some healing was required. “Good birdie, nice birdy…” she cooed as she approached, relieved when it didn’t wake from its slumber. Finally close enough now, she rested a palm against the bark of the ancient tree, feeling her hair damn near stand on end at the rush of energy that flowed through her on contact.

"This big tree's pretty nice, huh?" The Captain smirks, admiring the Noonlight Shrine's dense canopy.
<'Aaaah! I feel much better now!'> Little Monkey, now named Charlie, exclaims in turn, stretching up and smiling with all the glee a Chimchar can muster. Chimchar, that's what she is. The professor had thankfully tagged the Pokéball she had given him. He had also managed to remember that those red and white balls are indeed called Pokéballs, so you know... progress!
"Alright! Let's get going, then."
Off they go, back into the forest.

Before she was to start a new adventure, Athysh figured that it would be a good idea to heal up her pokemon. Hazard had done a good job of taking care of the Cottonee quickly, but, she didn't want to take any chances of something going wrong with some of her tall grass health missing. What better way to be prepared than to go and heal up. <Heal and then look for another party member?> "That is exactly what we are doing." She smiled at Hazard before she walked to the shrine and lightly touched it. It didn't take long for the warm feeling to roll over her, much like the many times that she had been here before.
With their health back, Athysh and Hazard turned around and went back to the tall grass to pokemon hunt some more.

It could be called a pit stop. A moment taken to pause and heal at the shrine before returning to the depths of the Birchwild. However, to Muin, even in this game it's more than that. Shrines mean something; even shrines dedicated to flaming deities that live in their branches. And trees... trees are just as important or perhaps even more, as his own name and those of his Pokémon would imply to those who understand their origin and meaning.
So, when Muin comes to the Noonlight Shrine, he always takes a moment to appreciate the shrine itself; a moment to look at this magnificent tree and bask in all of its beauty. It brings him memories, even if it doesn't look exactly like any tree he's seen before.

I’m so sory.. I’m so so sorry I let this happen..I’m so sory.. I’m so so sorry I let this happen.. The child’s eyes watered as she stared at the fainted Torchic in her arms, clutching the creature to her chest though his size vs her own tiny stature made it slightly hard. I thought this would be easy… I mean for god’s sake this is a game and the beginner area what the hell! She thought she wouldn’t need to go here, that they could handle themselves in this early game area and do some grinding.
she had been wrong.
The child gulped as she approached the shrine, gently lowering herself and her Pokemon to the ground and offering up her prayer to the fire legendary above. “Please hear my words, I require healing and aid for I overestimated my own prowess. It resulted in my friend’s harm and I do not wish to repeat that.” The child stated in the calmest voice she could muster.

Cottonee were mean… that was it, they were mean and she was kinda made about it! The child let out a soft huff as she approached the shrine, gently holding her Torchic in her arms and stroking its feathers. ”Well…. I um, I’m back….” she half muttered to herself and half to the legendary Pokemon. It took a few seconds of awkward standing before the child knelt down to offer her prayers once again, hoping for her heath to recover as she did.

Too many shrine trips…. She was starting to dislike it here at this point. (And running out of clever ideas on how to interact here.) A sigh escaped the child’s lips as she looked between the large tree, the legendary lurking in its branches and her own fire type. She said nothing this time, carefully going to offer her prayers to the fire bird.

Tamara was in no rush. She had no particular goal in mind for today, and no particular plans. So it was that she found herself exploring the shrine she’d seen less of, so far. She’d needed to come here, anyway – her encounter with the nightmares that inhabited the Mistra Corruption Zone had left her with gashes on both arms that just wouldn’t heal.
Those had been dealt with now though – coming to the shrine and praying had had them quickly closing up. Not a lick of pain was left now, and the teen was content to linger by the tree, watching other players come and go.

Shitshitshit!
Taylor hadn’t thought this through at all. She’d been in the middle of working on a set of armour – just about to start smelting from ore – when a Duraludon had attacked. She’d been trudging through the Steppes for long enough that both she and her pokemon were exhausted, and certainly not in any position to fight!
So it was that she found herself rushing to one of the Shrines now, trying to heal up before the situation got worse. Once done, she glanced around a little frantically, and her eyes lit up when the landed on a familiar blue head.
“Hey kid!” She called, waving. “Tamara! Want another Duraludon for the prof? I could sure use a hand!”

It was quickly becoming apparent that they’d been exceedingly lucky in the first Duraludon battle to not need any healing mid-fight. If there’d been anyone still hanging around at Noonlight Shrine, they might be surprised to see Tamara return so quickly. Then again, she had left with someone shouting about a Duraludon battle, so perhaps not!
Regardless, she was clearly in a rush, so dashed over to the tree and laid her palm against its bark, glancing up at the huge Moltres in the branches. After a beat, she her lids fell shut. With closed eyes and a quick prayer for strength, she waited.
