Everything in the game felt so… real.

Pale golden orbs shifted over the vast greenery before her very eyes, blown out of her mind on how realistic this games immersion was. The feeling of every inhale and exhale of the clean fresh air tickled her lungs. The sounds of the crisp crunch of her high top ebony boots stepping onto the earth filled her wolf ears. The sensation of an ever so light cool breeze brushing against her cheeks, forcing her silvery grey hair to flutter in the breeze. The game even mastered the scent of real life if a true fresh musky earthy. This was so thrilling!

In fact, the woman so engrossed into the realistic feel of simulation by of the game that she completely forgot that she was on a tutorial quest. And despite not seeing anyone (NPC or real) in the game yet, there was someone waiting for her to meet up and get those darn shoes from their mothers. That was, until someone called out to her.

Gaze shifted to sound of the call, pale golden orbs stopped the blue haired woman speed walking across the open field while her arm flailed in a wave towards her. Brows rose curiously, gaze briefly flicked to the indicators along her peripherals to see her check point coming to her. Oh! How convenient!

A soft tugged the edges of her lips into a smile, offering a polite single wave in return as she meet up with the woman continuing her casual stroll. “I do indeed,” the woman replied, playing along, “And I heard a rumor that you need some shoe too.” Rhaenyra let out a single chuckle, shoulders rose and fell casually as if she wasn’t expecting company even though it was clear as day. Joking, the woman made an offer that she knew this player wouldn’t refuse. “Care to join me in returning home to grab the shoes that we forgot?”

At long last, the tutorial buddies finally made contact with each other. And despite Rhaenyra’s moment of pure amazement of the games design, the woman was glad they could finally get this party started. Walking this slow around the map all the time would get so annoying, fast. And with her being a new player, a pokemon mount would be out of the question for a while.

The blue haired woman played along right back, oddly stretching and mentioning something about feeling the grass between their toes. Rhaneyra, subconsciously, gaze down at her high top heavy boots, wiggling her toes in them. Honestly, in real life she hated being bare footed in the grass. But here, it could be different.

But before she could put much else thought behind it, the player named Cleo called her bluff. Ears flicked, shoulder shrugged casually. “Nah, we don’t have too,” Rhaenyra replied in a monotone, both bothered by it either way. It was just… unexpected. “We both know it’s a game.” Pale golden orbs lifted to her mini map in her field of vision, nodding in the general direction of where they need to be heading while shoving her hands into her pockets of her jacket. “Let’s walk and talk. At this pace of walking, it’s gunna take forever if we don’t start now.”

With that out of the way, the silvery grey haired woman offered up small talk as they strolled in the direction of the marked location. In real life, she was terrible at casual conversation. But in here, she didn’t have to worry about anything. For all she knew, she’ll never see this person again. So if she makes a fool of herself, it won’t matter. “Anyway,” the wolf hybrid sighed softly, “I saw an ad about this place a while back. I have played all the core series game but never played VR before. Figured two for the price of one might be cool. So…. Here I am.” Rhaenyra offered a half smile, gaze shifted to her for only a moment before looking straight ahead again. “How about yourself? What's your story?”
