THE DREAM WORLD

Accessible via the Precipice Shrine or Dreamer (subclass) portals, the Dream Kingdom is a fairytale palace unique to each regional server of UNOVR.

Users with Tier 4 Psychic Pokemon (or permission from the kingdom’s Ruler) have the power to freely alter reality here, similar to lucid dreaming. OOC, you may write anything you like (utilizing any NPCs that you desire) as long as it doesn’t contradict any canonical setting details.

The Dream World also serves as a bridge between regional UNOVR servers, allowing players to access “alternate endings” and meet players/NPCs from other countries.

Visitors to the Dream Kingdom may experience memory loss upon leaving, similar to waking up from a dream. This is not true amnesia: memories from this realm may still be recalled to some degree (albeit only hazily or partially.) OOC, this is an excuse to forget anything you don’t want to remember rather than a hard-set rule.

CANONICAL SERVERS

Mainland China
Dream Kingdom ruled by King Articuno (appears in human form). The Dream Palace has been turned completely to sand. While nothing appears on the surface, sifting through its contents may yield some interesting objects. The Prince has been freed.

Japan
Dream Kingdom ruled by NPC Council (mixed nobles/commoners). The Prince and true King remain asleep/imprisoned. The Dream Palace was the site of a large-scale mechanical battle and bears psychic remnants of Magic Room/Trick Room/Inverse Battling.

North America (us)
Dream Kingdom co-ruled by Queen Rubella (Ruby) and King Articuno. The central Banquet Hall has been replaced by a full-scale battlefield. A forest strangely reminiscent of Birchwild Grove exists on a full scale within the palace as well.

Europe
BAD ENDING. Dream Kingdom ruled by the Princess (Galarian Articuno). The palace is a storybook Noble Court, filled with feasting, dancing, and dutiful servants. King Articuno remains in cryogenic stasis in the catacombs, guarded by his faithful Salamence. The sun never rises.

Australia
Dream Kingdom ruled by Mad King Bruce (elected player). The living, walking palace is a setting of absolute chaos, stone walls barely containing rabid real-world animals, a tastefully blurred nude beach scene, unidentified flying objects, and balls. (?)
