Wytch had just gotten out of the Professor's lab as she grinned at her new companion. A Chespin wasn't exactly the kind of Pokemon that might have been tickling her fancy, although the woman knelt down to shower the little guy in affection. "Looks like we're settin' off on an adventure together, eh? Might as well give ya a name. Since you're a grass type..." She rubbed her chin in thought, huffing aloud while pondering around for some kind of idea. Eventually, one did come to her, although a bit tacky all things considered. "Trunks. Because, uhhh...Trees?"

Before the Chespin could let its frustrations be known, Wytch had looked up to see two trainers looking at one another. One was so obviously an NPC. But the other one was a kid, and a young one at that. A message came up in front of her eyes as the prompt lent itself to her.

JOIN QUEST IN PROGRESS?

No need to ask that question.

"Yo!" Wytch called out, walking towards the two with her Chespin following her. Her face wore a cocky but playful grin. "Is this a private party, or do you mind if I rock a bit with you?" she asked to the other girl, her giant poofy witch hat bouncing alone.

Wytch grinned ear to ear at being given the greenlight to join in on the fun. She pushed her glasses up, glancing over the NPC with a wicked expression. "Sounds good to me. I'm in the mood to have some fun." The woman sauntered up to the awaiting NPC as the NPC complained about his plight. But when given the option to name him, Wytch would get up to no good as always. "Here, let's try this name out for size."

NAME CHOSEN: BUTTPIPE. CONFIRM?

ERROR: NAME CONTAINS PROFANITY. PLEASE SELECT ANOTHER

"Huh, I thought it would be PG enough." Wytch huffed. "Alright, let's play along with him for a bit."

NAME CHOSEN: MORTIMER

"Alright, kiddo. Let's have some fun with this guy, shall we?~"

Her fingers clicked on the confirmation button as the NPC's name was set. He didn't look too set on his new name, although Wytch couldn't really care too much about his wants and dreams. "Whatever you say, Mortimer." Se teased, sticking her tongue out at the man as he called out his Pokémon. A Chimchar and a Bliztle by the information on the HUD. Lucky the other kid was here to know something about them.

"I've never seen those before. Are they new?" Wytch said, tilting her head over to the smaller girl as she'd take out her own pokeball and ask her to join in. Wytch nodded, letting out a sharp whistle as Trunks jumped into the foray, letting out a determined cry. "Wytch." she said, making the devil horns with her hands. "And I'm born ready, Aero. Let's rock!~"

"Pokémon what now?" Wytch asked, giving a confused look to the younger girl. "I thought this was a new game series. How many Pokémon games are there?" She asked before the battle had began. Trunks lined up across from the NPC's Pokémon with Aero's Fuecoco. "Wait, time our, time out! Who'sthis little adorable guy?! He's so cute!~" She immediately grew envious of such an adorable Pokémon. Her Chespin was cool in its own right, but this little pepper guy was something she wanted bad now. Plus he was red! The red Pokémon always went faster, according to those rumors at school.

The battle started as the man's Pokémon launched their own little attack against the two of them. Chespin was hit harder because of this disparity between Fire and Grass types. It bounced back as Wytch carefully looked at her move pool and chosen what she thought was the best option. So grass types were out of the question, why not Rollout? That sounded cool.

Trunks, use Rollout!" The Chespin would tuck itself into a ball, soon surrounding itself in small bits of the earth before rolling towards the Chimchar.

"Awesome! I'm gunna snuggle the s**t out of your Pokémon!" Wytch said happily, but would stop as she scratched her head as the word had been censored. "Huh? S**t? How come it's not comin' out? Is there a safety filter or somethin'?" Her little sidetrack had caught her at a disadvantage and caused her attention to go elsewhere. Their opponent ordered the Chimchar to cast another Ember as Trunks!

But thankfully, here came the Fuecoco to intercept the attack! The fire croc Pokemon would then lunge at the Chimchar, crunching down on its arm. Wytch smiled at Aero, tripping the brim of her hat down as she then went for the kill. "Hit 'em with Roll Out again!" The Chespin rolled into a ball once more, slamming itself against the Chimchar as the Fuecoco held it down for a perfect target. The impact was felt, CHespin standing back up in good health, even if damaged a tad.

"Thanks for the help, Aero~"

Huh? Was this guy seriously celebrating victory already? The battle had just started! Both of their Pokémon seemed in good health, and nobody was downed just yet. Aero checked up on her Pokémon as Wytch did the same as to keep an eye on her partner. "Doing alright, Trunks? Think ya you still crush this Chimchar?" The Chespin raised its arm towards her, giving a soft yet worn nod. "Alright! We got this, just hold on!"

The next round started up as the Chimchar would launch another Ember, while the Chespin continued to roll around, crashing into the Chimchar.
