She just had to keep moving. One step in front of the other. Just one more step. Just one more. She could manage one more step. Couldn't she?

There was a rattling hiss, and M'Foxy stopped before the venipede, antenna twitching in alarm, and growing irritation.

"Please," She heard her voice break, felt tears start to run down her face. When had she started crying? "We don't want to fight. Please. Just let us go home."

The venipede screamed, and M'Foxy- well, she did what she did best. She ran.

The wood did not slow the pokemon even slightly. It charged forward, scuffing at the loam- but M'Foxy had already scrabbled back in the way they had come, sprinting as fast as she could.

<M'Foxy! What's wrong?>

She didn't answer Gex. Couldn't. She could only keep running, trying to focus on the path- a hazard of twisting roots and dens, even if the pokemon were springing free as she approached.

She wanted out- grabbing at her own face with a free hand as if expecting to find something there.

And in the moment of distraction, the venipede lunged.

It's true enough: M'Foxy isn't alone. Although the company that arrives may not be exactly what she expects.

Tuesday is familiar with the mist. So familiar, in fact, that she would even claim that she feels more at home in the Misty Timberland than anywhere else in Asper. She knows these woods, after all. Once, long months ago, she had spent countless hours exploring every corner in search for new Pokémon. All those hours pay off, and there's no fear in her when seeing a silhouette in the distance.

"Yo." The Alchemist of feline features calls out all of a sudden, not considering that she might startle the stranger when appearing out of the blue. That's not her problem. As far as Tuesday is concerned, she's doing a good deed here. "You might wanna duck."

That's all the warning she gives and the reason for this warning becomes obvious a mere second later: ice cold chains shoot out from among dark trees, entrapping a troublesome wild Venipede. The actions of Tuesday's loyal Cryogonal, no doubt... A Cryogonal whose glowing eyes are probably also rather creepy when seen through the mist. Whoopsie.

"Are you alright?"

"No worries." Tuesday's reply comes smooth and calm, her smile radiating confidence... as if she were not aware of the fact that a Venipede is being strangled by her Pokémon's ice chains just a few metres away. She is aware, of course. Acutely so. Nevertheless, she smiles all the same.

"It's not rare to find people getting lost in the Timberland. The whole place seems kinda designed to get people lost and give them a scare. Weird, right? Shrine's that way, by the way."

The shrine she has been avoiding for a while now. The one she used to be so devoted to. Tuesday doesn't say such things when she points. Instead, she simply looking down to the ground, her mismatched eyes fixing on a pebble that she then swiftly kicks up towards the Venipede that had begun shrilling by this point. Bless all those years of playing fútbol. What a shot!

Proud of herself, she smirks, and it's then that she turns back to look at M'Foxy.

"I'm Tuesday, by the way. From Tuesday's T.E.A Shop." Leave it to her to always find an opportunity to advertise. "You can friend me in case you get lost again, if you want."
