The glee of the Kyogre is a blood-curdling thing, small as their size may be. 'It's just a baby!' some would say, but Tuesday knows better. She has known Legion since before they hatched from their egg. She has made them this way.
Their voices reverberates through the downpour, as if the echo of a thousand souls, and in the air, the legend swims amongst droplets of water, enjoying every second.
The way Tuesday smirks when watching them is inevitable.
<'Ha! Go, Legion!'> The Froakie on her shoulders encourages the young leviathan, never once losing balance as she walks through these stormy plains.
Maybe I should become a Swimmer with all these water types. Tuesday thinks, but for now, such ideas are not her priority.

<'Ɽ₳ł₦.'>
Why does it please her so much? The way Legion floats, swimming through the air, is not all that different from Orm's, but young as the Kyogre is, they're always less than a foot off the ground. Still, until recently, they could only swim in water and didn't really move much on land. She knows that it means Legion is growing; learning, changing, and developing. Based on the careful measurements she takes each week, they have even grown in size.
Good. Tuesday thinks, a smile upon her lips. Grow big and strong, my Legion.
<'Tuesday. There's something coming our way.'>
Linnear's warning steals Tuesday's attention away from such thoughts of pride and war, and she simply nods for the Pokémon to ready himself for a fight. After all, mighty as she plans for Legion to one day be, they're not yet ready for that.

"Linnear, do androids dream of electric sheep?" Tuesday asks the Froakie that jumps off her shoulder and onto the grass, her gaze fixed on the approaching Mareep while a hand opens her inventory. From it, she retrieves a rope.
<'What? What do you mean? What androids?'>
Tuesday chuckles at her Pokémon's confusion, readying her rope. In the corner of her eye, she can see Legion playing in the rain still, although she's well aware that the commotion will soon catch the Kyogre's attention.
"Nothing. I'm going to lasso this Mareep and I want you to hit it as hard as you can."
Even if Linnear were to protest, she leaves no room for that. Once she's satisfied with her loop, she swings the rope over her head, preparing a throw. Only once the Mareep is close enough does she attempt to lasso it, the loop ending up going right around the sheep's tail. Good enough. She pulls her slack, ignoring the way the Mareep bleats when the rope grows taut.
It's then that the Froakie's precise WATER GUN hits, although to Tuesday's surprise, it's shot while Linnear stands on the back of the Kyogre.
<'₱ʀɛʏ.'>
Apparently, Legion wanted some in on the action as well. Are they... playing? At the expense of a poor Mareep, that is, but of course that doesn't bother their trainer.

Man, this Mareep is strong. It occurs to Tuesday that it probably has something to do with the fact that she's yet to unlock one of the trainer classes that allow trainers to actually fight Pokémon (she's still working on that), but the fact of the matter is that holding this rope is starting to get real tough.
<'₱ⱤɆɎ. ₭łⱠⱠ.'>
Meanwhile, the young Kyogre circles around the Mareep to their belligerent little heart's content, urging Linnear to attack again since it's not something they can yet do themselves. The Froakie is more than happy to indulge Legion's wishes, and of course, the sheep resists.
At this point, Tuesday is a bit concerned about getting electrocuted, given that whole 'realistic pain threshold settings' and everything.
"Yeah, sorry... Don't think I'm in the mood for lamb today." An executive decision is made, and letting go of the rope, the Mareep is left free to escape. Naturally, Legion isn't pleased, and their attention turns to Tuesday.
<'N̞̪̯̤̉̅̋ͦ̀Ȯ̪͕̦̟͓̹ͮ̀!̤͇̹̰̈̇̃͠'>
"Oh come on, don't go all rebellious teen on me, you're not old enough for that yet. Come on, we'll get you some new prey. Promise." Tuesday smiles, patting the back of the small yet mighty beast. Her words get a huff out of Legion, but they believe her. After all, Tuesday has always done right by them.

"Damn, looks like we have one hell of a storm coming, huh?"
Literally. It's just light rain now, a drizzle and nothing more, but thunderclouds loom in the horizon. If it weren't for the fact that the Steppes are known for such climate and that Professor Ash warned her about sudden storms now that Zapdos is in town, Tuesday would wonder if this has anything to do with the presence of the baby leviathan by her side.
Linnear is still on Legion's back, riding the Kyogre like a mighty oceanic steed. It would be an adorable sight, if it weren't for the fact that she knows they both are eager for a fight. Just like she wants it.
"Let's keep walking, maybe we get lucky and a Duraludon shows up."

A whalesong as bloodthirsty as it is joyful rings through the rain, the amber gaze of a predatory animal falling upon a Mareep... again. Is it the same one as before? Had it grown tired while fleeing and paused here? Had it thought it was safe?
Tuesday isn't sure if it is the same Mareep or not, but whatever the case, it leaves her with a dilemma: she knows she needs to stick to her previous decision, despite what Legion may want.
"I told you, Legion. No lamb today." Merely saying the word 'lamb' in reference to a Mareep brings back memories, but she pushes them away, patting her small Kyogre. Legion heavily flicks their tail in annoyance, but they do not keep fighting her on this.
"We'll find you some other prey, don't you worry." Tuesday then smirks.

It's strange how easily one can grow accustomed to things, things like walking in the rain. It was annoying at first, yes, but eventually she grew to even like it, and here, seeing how much Legion enjoys it, it makes it all worth it.
'It would be easier with Swimmer class perks, though.' Tuesday finds herself thinking. Another goal for the future, perhaps. Before that, she does have Armorer and Steeler in sight. Priorities and all, right?
<'₮ⱧɆⱤɆ!'>
There's movement in the distance, and with a nod from Tuesday, Linnear readies an attack.

Oh. A Ponyta. Tuesday considers telling her Pokémon to just let it be, but seeing how excited both Legion and Linnear are, she finds herself caring little for the wellbeing of the pony (no surprise there, right?)
"All yours." She tells them, watching as Legion swims just barely off the ground, Linnear on his back. They attack, or rather, the Froakie does, shooting a WATER GUN. But, the Ponyta must have already been annoyed by the rain, and being attacked with even more water, it's quick to run away.
This annoys Legion to no end.

"Don't worry, Legion. There's plenty more vermin where that one came from." Tuesday consoles her oh-so-sweet hatchling, petting the top of their head. Linnear looks at her then, tilting his head.
<'Are we using them to train or are we hunting for something?'>
"Hmm... A bit of both." The Alchemist confesses while walking under the rain, easily keeping up with the swimming baby Kyogre. "Training is good, but finding a steel type Pokémon would be ideal. Especially a Duraludon."
<'Oh. Hmm... I'm not sure if I can bring down a Duraludon.'>
"I trust that you can. Legion does too, right?"

<'₱ⱤɆɎ!!!'>
It's a Yanma this time. A Yanma that flies high. Sadly, much higher than what the small Kyogre can swim just yet. Legion may be growing, but going barely a couple of feet off the ground seems to be enough of an effort for them already.
Naturally, they aren't at all pleased when the Yanma flies out of reach, and water is angrily huffed out of a blowhole. Much to the Froakie's dismay, of course, because standing on Legion's back as he is, this water ends up spraying all over his face. Hey, at least he's a water type, right?

For a while, they walk in silence; no signs of other Pokèmon in sight. Legion's temper appears to slowly but surely mellow out, anger being washed away by that downpour they cherish so much.
The downpour. Is that what she should call them? One of the lords of the downpour or the downpour itself?
Tuesday finds herself thinking of this when the baby whale movements suddenly halt, Linnear pointing to a spot in the distance. Another Pokèmon.
"Be ready." Tuesday says, calm; knowing well they already are.

"Oh... Duraludon." Suddenly, Tuesday finds herself smiling. It must have been caught off guard by the storm when roaming through the plains, and being a Pokémon that notoriously dislikes getting wet, it hid in the first place that would provide even a semblance of shelter.
In this case, the Duraludon stands poorly hidden beneath a spire, still clearly getting hit by some droplets of rain.
Hmm... It might rust a little, but it should still be fine for Ash to take.
Tuesday thinks before giving her Pokémon the go ahead to charge, Legion singing one deep note as he swims over grassblades, Linnear on his back. It's the Froakie that attacks, beginning the battle with a simple yet ever-so-fundamental to know POUND.

Hm. Better than expected.
While Linnear battles the mighty dragon that quite literally towers over both him and Legion, Tuesday assesses her Pokémon's performance, watching closely from where she stands. Rain continues to fall, serving to upset the dragon even more. Is it impairing it in any way? Honestly, she doesn't think so.
A GROWL on Linnear's part rings through the Steppes, a sound she would have never expected to hear from a frog. The Duraludon, however, is far from ready to give up just yet. Should she send out some backup? Maybe, but she doesn't.

The realization comes that Linnear will probably faint soon, although Legion may not notice this just yet. The Kyogre watches the battle near where Tuesday stands now, unable to fight while the Froakie jumps everywhere, shoots WATER GUNS and continues to POUND the Duraludon from time to time.
Who to send out next? Who would be the best example for Legion?
The answer is obvious to her, but for now, she waits for the inevitable. A lesson for Linnear, if anything.

Where spires rise, often so do rocks, and sitting atop of one of them, it's so very easy to get a bird's-eye view of the battle. That poor Froakie is really trying, isn't it? It's obvious to Yuze that this trainer is probably much more experienced and stronger than him, but she isn't his concern.
The Duraludon is.
Can they beat it? Probably. Will it take some time? Doubtlessly.
"Samodiva." He calls to the attention of the Pumpkaboo by his side, placing a hand atop of her head. "Go play with that Duraludon."
<'Boo~'> Samodiva is more than happy to comply, floating down to where the battle is taking place, an eerie aura surrounding her. Of course, she attempts to play TRICK-OR-TREAT with the dragon, even if that has never gone as she hopes. Why does no one like to play with her?!
