To say that Tamara was excited would be an understatement. She’d been playing UNOVR for a week or so now, but it’d been killing her that Obi hadn’t started playing yet. She’d finally worn him down – okay, he didn’t need that much convincing, but still – and he’d text earlier to say he’d be logging in for the first time today.

Settling herself into the chair and sliding the headset on, Tam relaxed into it. The deep dive tech had taken a little getting used to at first, but she was comfortable with it now. She couldn’t wait to see Obi’s reaction to it all! A giggle - that was perhaps just a little devious - left her at the idea of the hopeless technophobe trying to get to grips with it all!

She considered heading to the tutorial area, but decided against it for now. He might not want to stay on long enough to bother with a tutorial just yet, and she didn’t want him to feel like he had to. Instead, she headed to Briarbane, strolling down Cerulean Boulevard while she waited. She didn’t know his username or anything yet, but had set up her UI to run a search for accounts with his email address. The window hovered in the bottom right of her field of vision, auto-refreshing periodically. As soon as she saw a match pop up, she’d send over a friend request and an offer to teleport him over to her.
