There's nothing quite like the vibe of an Old West saloon, and this one has that vibe down right to the poor lighting, the piano music, the sketchy customers in cowboy hats, and even the creaking floorboards. The barkeep looks like a total grump, a drunk is passed out with a beer mug in hand, some cowboys play poker on a table way too small for all of them, and an Alchemist walks in as if she isn't undeniably out of place in this scene out of a Western movie. She stands at a mere 5'2", with golden hair, pointed feline ears, a black dress, and a tufted tail too. A scarlet cape billows behind her as she approaches the bar, held by a golden pauldron. She doesn't stop to look around. She doesn't go to anyone's table. There's no hesitation in that mismatched gaze of hers, and when she orders herself a cold beer, she does so with a smirk on her face.

Muin hates this place. Hell, Muin hates this place as soon as he steps through the door. It's small, loud, full of people, and the potential of getting approached by some stranger wanting to start trouble is astronomically high. Still, he has no choice but to be here, because that's what they had agreed upon for some ungodly reason.
"You know, all this would have been much easier if we had met at that tea shop of yours." He tells the catgirl once by her table, inviting himself to take a seat. Tuesday's T.E.A Shop is hardly a proper tea shop, to be sure, it's more of an apothecary store if anything, but it's as good as it gets in Briarbane, and not everyone is as particular as their tea as Muin.
Without further delay or even considering the option of getting himself a drink, he brings out the POLISHED BRASS POKÉBALL he had received from Cygnus after giving the guild leader no less than ten Pokémon.
"It was far from easy, but here it is." A true rarity of a Pokémon, but a trade that is more than worthwhile in his opinion. "Out of curiosity... Do you plan on giving it a name? Swords should always have names."
At least that's according to the stories he read as a child. Muin is rarely one for small-talk, but maybe he just likes Tuesday well enough... or maybe he wants to distract himself from where they are.

Many think that family money had a lot to do with it, but the truth is that Martín Marco Marzán had made his fortune by knowing how to get a good deal. Smart business decisions, is the proper way to put it. Something that without a doubt also translates to Tuesday's experience in UNOVR, no matter how different from him she might look and act. A Very Rare Pokémon that can only be obtained by trading 10 other Pokémon at Mythstar's exclusive shop? That's worth a lot, especially to Tuesday given what Pokémon it is, and she definitely would have done a lot more to obtain it. But, having to only trade three fodder catches for a Rare Pokémon at The Creed's shop? Now, that's a fucking good deal. Is she scamming Muin, then? Some people would sure think so, but based on the few interactions Tuesday has had with him, this Muin guy seems smart enough to realize that there's an obvious disparity here. So, what gives? "Oh, I know it wasn't easy. Honedge is a damn rare Pokémon. You must want that Mawile really badly, huh? Or... you really don't want to have to deal with some of the more unsavoury types in my dear guild." The Alchemist smirks, reading what she sees before her. Tuesday may be loyal to The Creed and she may think most of her fellow guild-members are damn hilarious, but she knows well a lot of people want nothing to do with them — especially people like Muin. That's her verdict about the man before her: he values his own comfort above all those Pokémon he traded away, that's why he agreed to this seemingly unfair deal. And, as someone who owns a multinational company that makes billions by allowing people to do all the shopping they want from the comfort of their own home, Tuesday sure as hell can appreciate someone with values like those. These are the reasons why she's honest when answering his needless question. "Name? Hell yeah I'm giving it a name! I'm not too sure about which, though..." She admits, downing beer and gently placing a single finger on brass Pokéball. Beneath its pressure, she makes the sphere roll. "I've been thinking a lot about it... Greco-Romans are my go-to for weapons, but there isn't really any famous Greco-Roman swords that suit my themes, and Honedge don't exactly look like a xiphos or gladius, you know?... Then I thought about Lobera, the sword of King Ferdinand III, but you can't name a sword 'Wolf Slayer' if it hasn't slayed any wolves! So, then I sat there and thought to myself 'Hey, my name is Tuesday and I don't have any Pokémon with Norse names, what gives?', so... Tyrfing? Yeah, I know, it's not exactly named after Týr, but it is the most famous fucking sword in all of Norse mythology and it kind of really suits the whole ghost blade theme."Tuesday could doubtlessly rant about all this for hours, especially with a drink in hand and with an audience that pays close attention and listens quietly.

"Who's to say? I may just be particularly fond of Mawile." Muin responds with ease, amethyst eyes fixed on the short catgirl while an eyebrow is quirked. He's about a foot taller than her, perhaps even more, but Tuesday seems unbothered and not intimidated at all. Of course he's not going to add upon that, and admitting that she's right and that he finds people like most members of The Creed to be terribly annoying and stressful to deal with would do just that. Muin settles for remaining cryptic instead, and so he remains quiet while she speaks of possible names for her Honedge. Now, truth be told, he's at least pleasantly surprised that the fact that she's named 'Tuesday' is more than a stupid joke about being online on Tuesdays or a reference to that silly poem from the Addams Family, but at the mention of a familiar Norse myth, he tilts his head, considering. "Hmm... Isn't Honedge's lore already based on Tyrfing to begin with? That and other cursed magical swords. Honedge supposedly take the life force of those who wield them and Tyrfing killed the king who forced the two dwarves to forge it. Dvalinn and Durinn... I read the Lord of the Rings as a child, the names stuck out in the myth after that." He had actually gone through a phase where he read through the Poetic Edda because of the Lord of the Rings, but of course he won't tell Tuesday that about. Just like how he won't tell her that reading the original myths had made him somewhat bitter towards J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpiece. "I suppose Tyrfing is a good choice, as far as names go. Although, I'm surprised you didn't stick with Greco-Roman, given that the final evolution is Aegislash." He then adds.

Ironically enough, despite having named his character in UNOVR after 'Týr's Day', Norse mythology has never been Mars' favourite. He can appreciate all the deities and the cosmology and so much else, but dwarves and elves and fairies and all of that have never been his thing (except for in A Midsummer Night's Dream, because that shit's aesthetic... and Greek nymphs are not fairies, thank you very much). Still, there are some things the Norse really got right, didn't they? Deities, runes, and case in point: Tyrfing.
"Look at you knowing your Pokémon lore." The Alchemist laughs, a light and gleeful sound that quickly fades into the ceaseless chatter of the saloon. "It was Svafrlami and I think you have a point there: if Honedge is already based on it, isn't it the perfect name? Honestly, I thought of sticking with Greco-Roman because of Aegislash, but as far as named shields go, you have the Aegis for Greeks and Ancile for Roman — the former is too obvious and the latter is already the name of my Cryogonal. I could go with Svalinn if I went Nordic, but... I kind of do intend for the Honedge to be more of a Sweeper instead of a Tank, right? So... Tyrfing it is."
A decision is made with a smirk and a swing of beer, Tuesday taking the brass Pokéball in her hand and examining it as if she could determine if the name is a good match for the Pokémon without even looking at it. While still holding it, she looks at Muin, her head tilting slightly and her cat ears twitching.
"What about you? You got a name for your new Mawile?"
She doesn't doubt that he has thought of it. He just seems like the type to put thought into everything. Which, as Tuesday sees it, is far from a bad thing.

One of the main keys to being a good lawyer is actually getting one's clients to listen to the wise legal counsel one is paid to provide them with (and it should be wise counsel, obviously). So, when Muin looks at Tuesday and listens to her talk, Percy sees someone who would be incredibly difficult to deal with if she were a client of his IRL. Stubborn. Set on doing what she wants once she makes a decision. But, then again, Tyrfing definitely isn't a bad name for a Honedge, as far as magical sword names go.
She clearly doesn't need him to tell her that, but out of courtesy and because he likes her well enough, he does so regardless:
"Sounds like you have really thought this through. I think it's a great name... Far better than naming it something goofy or silly." He has never been a fan of when people give their pets — and by extension, their Pokémon — silly names. Names are important, after all, they should have great meaning and be suitable. Needless to say, Percy has often been accused of taking everything in life way too seriously. For example, this:
"I name all my Pokémon after characters of the Ogham alphabet, so it was really a matter of finding a suitable one among those that remain." Just as Tuesday had taken the Honedge's Pokéball, he takes that of the Mawile, admiring beneath uniqueness in the saloon's dim lights. "Every letter in the Ogham alphabet has a tree assigned to it. It will be Huath in this case — Hawthorn... Hawthorn are fairy trees in folklore, but they're also associated with cleansing and defense. Plus, I find that their spikes suit Mawile well."
He doubts Tuesday cares much about the intricacies of the Celtic beliefs surrounding their sacred trees, much less about botanical knowledge, but Muin is thorough with his answer because she had been thorough with hers. Well... There's that and the fact these are things that he actually really likes talking about.

"Huath." Tuesday tastes a word that is all too foreign to her, getting a feeling for its pronunciation. Truth be told, she has no idea what Muin is talking about with Ogham and all that, he could be making it all up as far as she's aware, but he clearly put a lot of thought into this choice and the naming convention in general. She will always appreciate people with good and consistent naming themes for their Pokémon, even if Mars might have to look up this whole 'Ogham' thing once offline.
"It has a good ring to it and I like that reasoning." She concludes approvingly, and while many would doubt someone like Muin needs their seal of approval on his decision, Tuesday is of the firm belief that people are always better off when she gives them hers. How could she not be? Her opinions are valuable, people!
With all that said and done, she puts the brass Pokéball away and raises her beer mug, smirking at the man sat across from her: "Alright! You better get yourself a drink so we can toast to this trade. Don't leave me hanging, man."
So it is, then.
