Something moves in the darkness; something she can't see just yet. Tuesday doesn't ask Tyrfing if she can get a better look at it, because the answer is obvious enough, so instead she reaches for the pommel of the sword, ready in case an attack comes.

A cat ear flick, a pilose tail sways once, and changing her stance, Tuesday waits, her golden gaze fixed on the area the sound had supposedly come from.

She doesn't mind walking in the darkness. Not really. Mars has never been afraid of things like those; not even back when he was small. There are other things Tuesday fears (not that she'd ever admit it to anyone, of course), but the night? Her dislike for the night has nothing to do with fear of its darkness...

There is a terror associated to it, but it's different. The things that once frequently stole away Mars' slumber, the things that tainted his dreams, and made it so he got used to not sleeping much... those things are real, and they may be the reason why Tuesday is online so late at night.

In all of her excessive confidence and all of her pride, Tuesday doesn't bother with checking her map to make sure she's actually going where she intends to go tonight.

Why would she, right?

She has been here a million times before! It's not like she'll get lost or anything of the sort!

In the silence of the night, thoughts wanders, leaving matters related to UNOVR and instead focusing on the careful schedule kept by Mars. I have a busy day today. A day that starts in a couple of hours with a jog, since he's one to go jogging every morning.

For now, though, Tuesday simply walks. Her schedule is different from his. Her plans are different too. But, even in all those differences, she's still him and can't help but make plans even when supposedly taking it easy.

Let's be honest: Tuesday never takes it easy. Mars sure as hell is incapable of it.

Naturally, this previous interaction leads to a long discussion about the use of profanity, which later became a discussion about etymology. As it happens, Tyrfing seems to share Tuesday's interest in such things, for as colourful as the Alchemist's language may be, it is impossible to deny that language in itself matters to her... regardless of which one it is.

And so, they talk and walk, for a moment forgetting that they had agreed to be silent in this hunt of theirs.

Fighting in the dark is a challenging task, but that's the point: not just hunting, but training too. Each time she wields the Honedge, they grow more accustomed to fighting together, their rhythm improves, and they learn and grow. Not to mention that while Mars' own IRL training had made him skilled in hand-to-hand combat, now that Tuesday has the Black Belt class equipped, those skills have increased tenfold.

Now, all that's left to do is to catch this Magnemite; this prey of theirs.

She catches her breath after the last blow, and with regained strength, Tuesday and Tyrfing strike again. It's always an amazing feeling, isn't it? The kick of adrenaline, the surge of power, the thought of being able to do anything.

When swinging the blade, she even laughs, and truth be told, it's the most free Mars has felt in a long time.
