Day 1 - Ouros's Wake-Up Call

Morpheus groaned after her starter refused to let him treat her wounds. "I don't think you have a choice, Ouros," he said. "You're hurt from the flock of Pidgey and if you don't, I have to endure recovering you in some sort of an afterlife." He quickly shook that thought, not wanting to complain loudly about the surprisingly dark mechanic. "Besides, you've been acting aggressively against me a bit too much lately. I'm worried about your behavior lately."

The small grass serpent Pokemon growled when she glared at her trainer. <How can I?! You threw me in front of those Pidgey, you know! How can I defeat them with my measly attacks?!>

"I said I'm sorry, okay?!" Morpheus snapped back. "I even bought some of your favorite berries as an apology." He sighed as he tried to calm down. "Look. I know we're not starting off great in our first meeting, but like it or not, we're now a team. We should try acting one. You might not like it, but I'm trying to be respectful of your likes and dislikes. I even made sure you won't participate in battles you can't handle on your own. I'm still new at this, but I'm not cruel. Can you at least give me a chance for once? I promise I will stop if it's uncomfortable for you."

Ourus huffed. She was still annoyed that her so-called trainer was still not backing down. However, looking at the wounds on her body, she wondered if Morpheus was right. She won't be able to survive if she wasn't healed. Sighing, she turned to her trainer. <Alright, alright. I get it. Go ahead, do whatever you want.>

Morpheus sighed in relief. True to his words, he gingerly treated her wounds with Potions and bandages. Once he was done, Ourus was surprised to be covered with fewer bandages than she expected. She couldn't express her great gratitude for this small action. Yet all she could say was...
