AR glasses perched on top of her head, Day 1 wristband clearly advertising to anyone with eyes that she was just a filthy casual, Jenny Li stood in the middle of the Convention Center, trying to make sense of the damn app.

First, it made her log in.

"Well, that's more than expected," she muttered, wondering who the hell she'd accidentally friended along her UNOVR journey. She wasn't exactly a 'social' player-- she'd been avoiding one-on-ones ever since that catastrophe where she'd gotten carried away and written her damn IRL details on someone's arm--

"Aw, hell."

...That was it.

"What're the odds," Jen muttered, staring at the glowing, singular friend marker like a giant eye in the middle of the convention map. "So Silver's here too. Hmm." She hitched her mouth to the side, hesitating.

Sometimes it sure seems like I only have two modes.

All in, or all out. Which one was this gonna be?

"Area 3: Ostellia demo," she mused out loud, orienting herself before setting off in that direction. Might as well start over there, right? She'd already missed the opening ceremony, so anything was fair game.

Heading for the demo was a mistake. The area was absolutely packed. Forget about lines-- it was just a solid mass of people waiting to funnel in to the two goddamn demo screens. Why's there so many people here? Jenny wondered, holding onto her phone for dear life. She could hear people speaking German next to her. Hell, there were even Europeans at this event? What had she gotten herself into?

Screw it. I give up. Turning around, using her lanky build to her advantage, Jen squeezed her way back through the mass of people, aiming for a section that looked a little bit quieter. No way was she gonna meet up with Silvermoon in a place like that. I'll just wait out the storm.

The NOONLIGHT STAGE was smaller than most of the other venues, and there was only a handful of people lined up to enter. "UNOVR - the Movie," she read the theatrical poster above the door. Her brows raised and she squinted at the actress who was probably supposed to be Professor Ash. "...Is that ScarJo?"

Well, this sounded hilarious.

"You know if we have to pay to get in?" Jenny casually asked over her shoulder to the person behind her. "I'm all for hilarious sneak peeks, but I'm a little short on change." Parking had cost more than she'd expected.
