She smiles with the flash of a camera, standing close to someone she has never met before. She even laughs, joyful.
The Dream Kingdom Lounge was supposed to be the place where she could just sit and have a moment to herself after having spend hours among con-goers. The place where she could relax (by Ariel's poor and inaccurate definition of relaxing) and check in with her boss without risking being overheard by others. Yet, even in the Dream Kingdom Lounge people are drawn to what she had recently learned are referred to as cosplayers. Apparently, she's a cosplayer today.
At least they had been polite enough to wait until she had received her GARDENER STAMP to ask for a picture, and so, since she knows that it's what her boss would do in her place, she had complied, even going as far as engaging in small talk after the fact.
"For real, your catgirl C.L.A.W costume is awesome, I love it. Mind if I ask for your username?"
"Aw, thanks!" She smiles, and Ariel is sure she has never smiled this much. See, she has never been a charismatic person, but for today, she acts the part. Good thing that part of her job is knowing how to act. "It's Tuesday, actually."
"Wait, like from Tuesday's T.E.A Shop? No way!"
Ariel chuckles at their reaction. Most people had mentioned the T.E.A Shop when she had given them Tuesday's username, and Mars had explained that he had opened a small store for fun, selling all sorts of things but opening only on Tuesdays. Leave it to him to see business as even a fun hobby, what an odd man.
"Yep, that's me~ Make sure to stop by sometime, hm?" She winks before turning to leave, and internally, she has to resist the urge to throw up.
These are going to be a long four days.
The worst part is that neither Ariel nor Mars had foreseen that someone who actually knows Tuesday's identity might be here, perhaps even overhearing this whole exchange...
Shame Tuesday had blocked starlitlover after their last encounter, or Mars would see him in his UNOVRCon app's Location Tracker and would have been able to warn Ariel. Fate can be terrible cruel sometimes, or is it perhaps karma?
