[ti]quest[/ti][Q][C/Abaddon] Sink or Swim

That stupid list of tutorials were finally over.

Finally, he was free to explore the game as he wished and at his own pace! However, first, he had to reach the first destination. He had spawned in a carriage ride with another player. As he looked at his quest, he frowned, arms crossed. The person next to him: "Josh", seemed a bit too eager to talk to him. But Abaddon had no real plans of sticking around once the carriage let them out.

Whenever that was supposed to be.

He was tempted to just ignore the polite introduction, but he instead tore his gaze from the window and focused his four red eyes on the heroic-looking Trainer. "Hey..." He said quietly. His torchic seemed a bit more optimistic than its Trainer. As it spoke due to the "poke speech" option being on for Abaddon.

"Heya! Don't mind my Trainer here! He's just a big ol' grumpy pants today! I'm KFC! Nice to meetcha!" It chirped enthusiastically as Abaddon held back an amused smirk at the name it expressed so proudly.

The duo of trainer and pokemon was quite a spectacle, to say the least!

Abaddon looked amused at Josh's words, his gaze flickering over toward his Pokemon named 'Ares'. That guy is such a jerk! The torchic exclaimed irritated. They were a meanie head who beat me up!! Complained the fiery little chick as it puffed out its cheeks, pouting. Abaddon rolled his eyes at the Pokemon's whining before speaking up, finally.

"Type advantages suck. But it's also a relief that a rival uses a type of advantage these days... Last time I checked they haven't done that in years." The demonic player smirked. "Honestly, I love the challenge."

KFC didn't seem that agreeable with its trainer. But, but, but-!" Abaddon sighed as he petted the moping fire-type trying to calm it down, despite himself. It seemed to work as the torchic quieted down, yet still pouted in its seat.

Letting Abaddon time to look back out the window. "So." He began. "What are ya gonna do once we're off this thing?" He still didn't look at the other trainer and his tone sounded pretty bored. But he was trying to be "polite" with some small talk. ...Or whatever.

The demon stared out the carriage window, watching the scenery go by. Only to pause when he noticed something wrong. Looking at his mini-map he realized they were going past their objective. The blond-haired man who he was sharing the ride with also noted this as well, however out loud, almost mirroring his own thoughts.

Looking towards the other trainer he finally noticed the man's name tag that hovered above his head. "That's a pretty boring name not gonna lie. Isn't the point of the game to be cool or something? But whatever. Nice to meet'cha Josh." He replied before continuing.

"Pokemon Racing is a thing in this game? That sounds badass! I'll probably get me a mount too. Maybe go against ya in a race..." But Josh gave him an idea to at least check it out. He made up his mind, intrigued by the man's plans for the game.

"Adding you to my friend list. So that we can keep in touch, you can tell me about your progress if ya want." He said giving a slight smirk. The carriage began to slow down at the next stop. "Looks like this is it, see ya later, yeah?"
