Ahimil sat on Alistair's couch, holding the Worldview in his hands. Both Ali and his dad had been going on about this game for- like, forever. Ahi had never played a video game before- well, save for the few hours he spent on Pokemon... Um, whichever it was that Ali handed him. The shiny red cartridge thingie. But Ali said that was really different, it was just "an example of what to expect."
Honestly, if he started this and found pokemon moving things in his house, he was gonna have an issue with it. He pulled the headset on, having a weird flicker of perception as the device turned on. The loading screen was- pretty, a grassy field, the word UNOVR- whatever that meant- in big text. And, underneath it, a simple "Play" option.

Ahi blinked, the world coming into view. A dusty-yellow western. It felt like being in an old movie- Save for Alistair standing in front of him, the little creature- sob bowl? Something?- in his arms. Ahi brightened- He was half worried he'd sign in, and Alistair would just- he didn't really know. Fuck off and get lunch? Draw something stupid on his face?
"Ali!" He said, brightly- The voice coming out soft, and high pitched. Effeminate. This was a woman's voice. His hand instantly slammed up to his mouth. What was that? Maybe just- um- because he wasn't used to the game. Slowly, he let his hand fall-
Slim fingers. Long fingernails. Painted nails.
HE stared, blankly, at Alistair. Like a deer in headlights.
