Autumnal forest, dark forest, grass plains. That's how the three route options had sounded to him when reading their descriptions. Is there more to it? Maybe, probably, likely so, and Helios sure could have asked to make a more informed decision, but: one, there's nothing cool about letting his twenty year old son see how old and out of touch with videogame logic his dad is, and two, where's the fun in making an informed decision in a game like this?
This is supposed to be an adventure! This is supposed to be thrilled! And hell, it sure fucking is...
When he reaches the Surging Steppes, he's in awe. There's something about the rolling hills, about the rising spires, and about the distant storms. It all awakens a certain sense of familiarity in him. He has felt this awe before. It makes Helios smile, and all at the same time, it makes him cautious.

ENTERING THE TALL GRASS!
When a Wild PKMN appears, reply using the ATTACK button to weaken it! But watch out— it might fight back! If your PKMN faints, you must go to the closest SHRINE to restore your PKMN. When the Wild PKMN's HP reaches 10% or below, up to 2 players may spend 25 BYTES to catch it here. You may also simply retreat to end the encounter. Retreating succeeds automatically.
