Alicia hummed and nodded to herself, similar thoughts coming to mind. While she wasn’t keen on a Galarian Zapdos, and was also wondering what exactly such a mon looked like, she was wondering about the other Legendaries that currently existed on the game. Did any particularly appeal to her…?
It didn’t help that she had incomplete information on the list of possible Pokemon from Generation 6 onwards. She had a foray or two just for the sake of saying she gave it a fair shot. But she generally didn’t get very far.
”Maybe.” She mused in response to Josh’s comment about thresholds. When he continued along on the topic of the card game, Alicia quirked an eyebrow. ”TTS…? Oh, right, that. I keep forgetting that exists because randoms in other games generally don’t have the skill to keep me engaged. Either I win without really trying, or I make a big mistake in my boredom and my loss is purely my own fault. I even find chess and VGC too easy in the long run. That or I’m completely outclassed and then I’m resigned to losing to a superior mind. I’ve not seen much in-between.”
There would likely be one heck of a bomb in there if Josh followed competitive Pokemon at all. Double battles were inherently a complex mess of a format. Then again with how well she had handled herself against the Naganadel a while back in Ostellia, it might not be as much of a surprise. He had even said it himself, at times she was something else.
”Still, maybe learning a new game would be the route to go. I’ll keep an eye out.” Alicia mused. After which she chuckled. ”I’ve been done. Needed to sprint a bit here and there to keep up with you and Raiden. Bayleef aren’t exactly the fastest Pokemon around.”
”Sorry. But at least I’ve got stamina?” Tikani chimed in at that. She definitely didn’t look that winded from the sprints. Then again it was hardly to the same level of exertion Josh had put Granmarg through. Alicia took the moment to pat the Bayleef on her neck.
”It’s fine. I was neither expecting nor wanting you to be a super fast ride.” The Gardener assured her starter.
