Since our Beta launch we've been hard at work adding, tweaking, and fixing. Patch 0.2 is all about quality of life improvements and getting the site running as smooth as Silcoon. You can check it out here!

Patch 0.1 is here, and with it, the opening of Beta Island! This glorious, sunlit isle is just a hop, skip and a shipwreck away from the Asper mainland, and is full of lush, untextured jungle, buggy beaches, and Pokemon that run according to their programming.

Helping is its own reward after all, and even if it was a tutorial that needed to be completed still, it was nice to be appreciated. Though, needless to say, Dr. Bunya's dialogue was hard to understand - so many cat puns - and the package was a bit too simple - a brown package tied together with twine with a few odd stains on its corners. But the starting town was the starting town - especially in a tutorial zone. So, as the hybrid adjusted her grip on her new cargo, surely this would be- A sudden popup in front of her face stopped her in her thoughts. TUTORIAL 2 -- Delivery, Sign Here! And what better place to do that than the tutorial area, delivering packages in the newbies' town? The young man did a search for open delivery quests, finding one with a familiar name: Cypress . "What's she up to?" he asked himself, recalling this was one of the tutorials he never completed. This would be a good opportunity to get used to controlling the swift equine and get a better idea what he was capable of. Huh, convenient! The objective for the quest then updates with a cheerful chirp. ~~Objective: Deliver mysterious package to the Briarbane Saloon. The location has been marked on your minimap!~~ Cypress would squint up at the mini-map, taking note of its location in town, before looking over to the road, then back to the rider. "It looks like the direction to go is, uh...that-a-way." She'd point in around the general direction - it was the polite thing to do, afterall - before grabbing hold of the package in her hands, preparing to walk her way there. Josh Devlin I was debating on the problems being relating to things in town? Like a runaway barrel one may need to jump over or something? Any potential suggestions?

"They all need two players to activate, it seems," the scout added, bringing Raiden to a stop. "Says we're supposed to deliver it to Briarbane Saloon. That's clear on the other side of town. Got a ride Pokémon trained up? We'd be able to get there a lot faster." The suggestion was a thinly-veiled excuse to just go fast. Well, fast as the Zebstrika could gallop without being augmented by the lightning storm above the Surge Steppes. That place was one that felt like all speed limits were removed from electric Pokémon. "I've also got a Mudsdale if you don't have a Pokémon of your own." Though was is really getting used to on-foot movement if one was mounted? Perhaps he was stretching what the developers had in mind. It was close enough in his eyes. Whether they could go at a quicker pace with Josh's Pokémon or keep to Cypress' on-foot pace, he would head westward until a row of barrels blocked their way.
