Lucille breathed out a sigh as a random flying type whooshed from the bushes, the ivory haired woman obviously startling the poor thing. She felt her heartbeat hammer away in her ears, clutching her trembling hand to her chest ❝Okay that was a close one.❞ She murmured to no one in particular as she lowered her hand under her jacket and plucked a light teal-blue pokéball from her belt, Aymr would keep her safe, wouldn't he? He had seemed a bit off for some strange reason after the events of the Raid. Distant and quick to snap, a complete one-eighty from how he used to be. Had evolution changed him so much? She wasn't exactly familiar with the temperament of Hisuian Typhlosion's usually. But every individual in the species was bound to be different. Had she angered him so much to become rebellious? Did she push him too far? Had she done the same with Byleth?

Perhaps she had. He was injured to the point of fainting during the raid and then the... fall. It was terrifying, plummeting towards the ground at breakneck speeds. She couldn't imagine how Aymr felt during the whole ordeal, having to retreat to the capsule prison which he despised so much. Maybe they should make an effort to talk about it once they were settled for camp.

With her mind made up and the pang of guilt building in the pit of her stomach, Lucille gently tossed Aymr's pokéball into the air. The sphere bursting open and unleashing the Hisuian form of Typhlosion forth. Catching the capsule once again and returning it to her belt ❝Hey Aymr. Would you like to walk with me? I could use the company.❞ The kindler posed the question tentatively. Her eyes looking at her fiery companion with a sheepish demeanor.

Aymr shook himself out before snorting a small puff of smoke that dissipated just as quickly as it came, the ghostly fire around his neck flickering and bathing the surrounding greenery in a purple hue. It was already beginning to get dark as the sun began to set behind the horizon as the hours passed by painfully slow, so they would have to find a clearing to make camp soon. ❝Oh now you want to let me out. You know I hate being in there. I haven't been out ONCE since that happened.❞ The towering ghost-flame pokemon scoffed, throwing his head to look away from his trainer as he began to move ahead of her.

Lucille reached her hand out after him hesitantly, her mouth opening to say something only for the words to die in her throat. Instead she lowered her head and followed after her companion, guilt heavy in her chest.

As quickly as it had begun, it was over. Aymr's flames had been super effective on the petite cluster of eggs, just too much for the Exeggcute to withstand. Burning the wild Pokémon to a crisp. Despite the damaged looking ovular creatures kicking up a fuss in the first place. It had escalated way too quickly that Lucille felt like she had whiplash. Reaching and rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. Returning her Aerodactyl to its pokeball after his noble good deed of the day.

The silver-haired kindler stepped closer, sighing and lowering herself down into a squatting position ❝I am so sorry for Aymr's behavior. He's been in a bit of a mood lately.❞ She spoke apologetically before carefully taking the straps of his backpacks down from her shoulders, setting it in front of her with the incubator holding the egg of a Zapdos within it. She opened the pouch containing a few hundred Pokeballs within it, plucking one out of it and lightly bonking the grassy-egg Pokémon on one of its many heads with it to initiate the capture sequence.

With her newly caught Pokémon in hand, Lucille rose to her feet after making sure her egg was secure and warm enough and carefully placing the backpack back over her shoulder, sliding her arms into the straps. Her eyes settling on the back of her starter Pokémon, who had his arms folded over his chest ❝We have to talk about this, as soon as we set up camp. I cannot have you putting others in danger by acting so recklessly, Aymr.❞

The hisuian Typhlosion was listening with ears pressed low against his skull, he couldn't bring himself to look at his trainer, he knew what he had done was dangerous... but he just couldn't bring himself to care; he was just so angry and bitter, and hurt. He was so muddled up inside that it was blinding him to what consequences that his actions could have.

❝Can we, please? I think it would be healthy for both of us. If you let everything out about what happened. But not here. Once we're all set up.❞ Lucille added, earning a slight nod from her ghostly companion

❝... We can talk.❞ With that said, the two made their way further into the deep, all-encompassing treeline. Hoping to find somewhere clear enough that they could set up camp as Lucille had originally wanted to do.
