The pinkette could understand the deadpanned response, she did put on a bit of flash immediately upon activating the frigid artifact. The follow-up, though made in jest, did make her giggle a bit and think of an old RPG.
âI mean, can I really be a Hero if Iâm also a Queen?â Alicia shot back with a smile. The RPG in question was quite old, though it was getting a remake soon if she recalled. Maybe Shalin knew it? That said, with some of the things heard in the chaos of Hearteater⌠maybe that was a thing in UNOVR? Something to ask Orion about if she ever got the chance.
âBuuuut Iâm not gonna stop youâŚâMost girls had princess fantasies, after all, didnât they? Helen wouldâve settled for that if she couldnât be the hero she wanted because at least then sheâd still be noteworthy⌠And she needed to focus-
OW! NOISE! Unfortunately the hero aspirant and her Pokemon were just a
bit too slow to react to Shalinâs warning, cringing as they tried to blot out the reverberating rattle. Which did force Sylvene to land⌠right in the path of avalanching debris.
As quickly as Rumble fell, so too did Sylvene and Yggdril both bite it as collateral damage. No one had any Pokemon active anymore. The pinkette huffed, blowing a lock of pink hair back in the process, before pulling out the tome sheâd bought for the duration of this battle. Guess she was taking to the field personally.
âWell, I was going to do this anywaysâŚâ Alicia began as she drew draconic power from the pages of her book.
âBut I wouldâve preferred to do so by pulling them back before they were knocked out⌠Shouldâve been paying more attention.âShaking her head, she decided to channel her frustration into the power she was drawing. Recoiling the attack to ensure she did enough damage to finish the titan off. The Hakamo-O was coming back around, and was facing them again.
The Crown Jewels gleamed again, and Alicia sucked in a deep breath as she felt the icy power racing through her. Tinging the draconic power she was calling upon with rimefrost. She wasnât sure if they could affect Players directly, but it was good to know they could. It may have meant that this was overkill, but if she was being honest she was fine with an overkill right now.
âTime for a Puff of magic~!â Alicia declared with a further reference. The purple ice-fire raced over her body at that declaration. Clawed gauntlets formed over her hands while thick, overlapping scales encased her body. A lashing tail conjured up into existence, which Alicia found she could mentally direct while it lasted through a bit of experimentation. It wasnât a
complete reference⌠but it would do!
Armed accordingly by the tomeâs magic, Alicia grinned and charged into the battle for the final blows. The Colossal Hakamo-O roared back an attempt to intimidate her. She responded with a swipe over the energy scales on her arms, sending them flying into the beastâs face and forcing the psuedo-legend to recoil in pain and temporary blindness.
The hero aspirant raced for one of the Hakamo-Oâs ankles and delivered a set of claw strikes to it, injuring it enough to bring her target down to a knee. Which gave her a chance to reach the titanâs tail and use a brief burst of her Extreme Speed move mod to scale the dragonâs body with ease.
With a heavy lash of the tail she conjured, Alicia struck the back of the Hakamo-Oâs head, sending the beast completely to the ground, where she finished it off with a powerful double handed claw chop.
Alicia huffed as she hopped off the felled Colossal, her energized alterations disappearing in the winds. Just in time for the victory fanfare to play as she walked back to Shalin with wide eyes.
âHoo boy⌠apparently some of these type tomes can be⌠quite a rush to useâŚâ> CONGRATULATIONS!

âAnywaysâŚâ Alicia began, biting her lip once they were back. Was it possible that Rumble had a Move Mod? Certainly, but⌠if it was a Move Mod, she had no idea where it was. The Everworld was a more likely location...
