FREEFORM BATTLE

BATTLEFIELD: A cloud-themed obstacle course whose bounds automatically scroll. The course itself is as much of an enemy as the enemy Pokémon themselves, some impressive parkour needed to cross gaps. While there is a floor of clouds that runs beneath the course in order to make jumps within the height limit possible, that floor is always beneath the course's lower bounds. Pokémon that are out of bounds will take exponentially-increasing amounts of damage based on how long they are out of bounds for.

RULES: Doubles, 4v4, I will start on my first post.

ADDITIONAL: I am open to discuss a battle outcome on Discord.

The more time Josh spent in the guildhall, the more he was understanding what it was his guild truly stood for. His guildmaster seemed arrogant at first, but as time went on, he began to understand her a bit more... that she wasn't just about seeing her members at the top of the PVP ladder. It was perhaps the most misunderstood of the three guilds... and the longer Josh stayed in it, the more inclined he was to believe it was his permanent home. He and his Pokémon were competitive souls. They just competed on a different axis than most Pokémon did.

Even so, one of the things Josh's status was evaluated on was his ranking on the PVP ladder. Mirage and Nitro at his side, he gave the floating Ninjask's exoskeleton a gentle pat, longing to sit in the speedy bug's saddle. "Remember, Josh, we're a team," the insect reminded him. "We can win this battle together, but I can't do it without you."

"Of course!" Josh answered, taking a seat in a nearby chair as he queued up and waited in the colosseum lobby. He wondered how the matchmaking system worked...
