OUT OF THE GAME Short and scrawny for his age, Jacob is, well, not exactly known as one of the ‘cool kids’ at school. Not that he wants to be like those posers. He’s smart and that’s why they don’t like him. Someday the bullies will be working at their dad’s car dealership and he’ll be doing…something. Something cool. Like own his own company and make lots of money and have lots of girls. Yeah, that’ll show them. But really Jacob is just kind of a nerd. He’s in chess club, he talks down to everyone (including the teachers), and he just expects the world to owe him a happy ever after someday. He’s just overall kind of unpleasant to be around with his “better than thou” attitude and victim complex. The only person who willingly spends time with him is his little sister and he acts like he hates it, but really he would burn the world for her. Afterall, his mom works two jobs to take care of them since their dad took off while his sister was a baby. So it falls on him to look after her a lot, which he only slightly resents. UNOVR is a chance for him to be more. To be cool. To be the main character that he knows he is supposed to be. He’s going to be the best there ever was.

INSIDE THE GAME H0LYN3V1L is cool and powerful and has never once been shoved into a locker. He is the main character and he is going to unlock all the trainer titles, win all the battles, and prove that he is better than everyone else. He talks a big talk, but really he is still just a nerdy teen boy and doesn’t actually know how to do all those things, so he’s just going to fake it until he makes it. H0LYN3V1L is smooth with the ladies, scary to the men, and just super edgy and cool. He’s everything that Jacob wishes he could be.
