Time went on as he relaxed in this quiet grove. It was rare to have a moment inside of his own head where silence reigned, but this was one of this moments that caught him so. There was naught to listen to save for the wind and the water. Where had all of the other Pokémon went, Lucky wondered? There wasn't even a bird in sight nor sound around.

He let Leshy out of his ball to sit around with his trainer. The seedot was now the most quiet of his Pokemon now that Skydow had evolved, still having yet to say a word. Lucky didn't blame him-He didn't have a mouth. He probably didn't have organs to vibrate, either. Leshy just kind of was.

"Thanks for keepin' the company with me. Take a swig outta the lake here if you get bored, yeah? Just don't get ossified before we find our catch." Lucky felt that these were fair enough terms. Leshy couldn't agree or disagree, but proceeded to take little sips out of the lake with his foot regardless.

Out it rises from the pond, peace shifting into chaos as it did! The Magikarp landed upon the groveside swinging, striking out at Leshy, the only Pokémo around. This Magikarp sought the song of BATTLE, and it would get one today.

But it did not face against a fellow warrior, no. Unfortunately, it fought against an inevitable tide. Bit by bit, the life of the Magikarp began to drain into Leshy as he sapped the energy away from it. Absorb and Mega Drain truly were his bread and butter. Leshy wouldn't be caught dead in a fight without using them at least once each. The little menace did his best to fell the raging karp, giving his all into the special attacks that he had honed over the past few weeks since he was born.

"Yeah, get him, Leshy! Show him what you're made of!" Lucky cheered him on, hoping the little guy would do his very best. Soon the Magikarp's struggles came to an end as it accepted the fate it was given. Lucky pulled out the Pokéball in turn.
