Lucky stood for the second time at the precipice of the endless abyss. Darkness reigned in the shrine's pit, and not a soul knew what lie within it. Lucky had come to see that very abyss today, and not even how he saw red right now changed the fact that this pit was endlessly black. Lucky had come, and perhaps others had followed him, curious as to why he was so damn angry for no reason.
A Pokémon appeared in his hand, one that would be the answer. A great calico Magikarp, one larger than the norm, thrashed around in his hand. Its' eyes were hateful as the day it had tried to drown Lucky in the river with his Pokémon. It really had tried to just do him in, and those empty fish eyes were just as devoid of love or kindness as ever. Just malice. Lucky had checked the damn thing's loyalty stat earlier and had questioned how it was possible for such a value to be so low.
Really, Lucky was almost impressed with how dumb the devs made Magikarps in this game. It really was like holding an angry Comet goldfish. He wasn't feeling so kind-hearted as to give a compliment to the little bugger right now, though. Lucky wasn't looking at the bright side of things today.
Lucky was looking at red, a deep red that persisted in his eyesight. A red that was just like the last place he'd drowned in with a hateful, single-minded fish. That damned crimson sea.TOUCH THE SHRINE
SACRIFICE A POKEMON"I'll show you a damn sacrifice..!" It wasn't clear to him right now whether his words were for the shrine, the possible people following him, the fish itself or some presumed gaze that watched over this sacred place. Either way, what he intended to do was clear as day. Lucky's other hand now held the hook of his Fishing Rod.
That hook went straight into the Magikarp's mouth. Lucky didn't know if he could actually hook this Magikarp onto the line, or if it would even count as bait, but Lucky didn't care. This little Pokémon had tried to kill Lucky, and he had no intention of calming down how furious he was over it. He would use the ultimate bait. He would fish and see what would come of it.
Lucky cast the line. An offering was granted to the God that resided within.Calico Magikarp was SACRIFICED to the Precipice shrine.

FISHING ROD SET!
When a Fishing Spawn bites, reply using the ATTACK button to reel it in! But watch out— it might fight back! If your PKMN faints, you must go to the closest SHRINE to restore your PKMN. When the fish's HP reaches 10% or below, up to 2 players with a Fishing Rod may catch it here at no cost. You may also retreat to throw your fish back.
