Momma Loves Quentin Tarantino Movies?! [OPEN]

Well, this got awkward really quickly.

Fun game, VR shenanigans, silly pokémon dudes, etc etc. Except, go talk to your mom, too, since that's not a traumatising request or anything. Self-insert media like this really loves to assume you have a good relationship with your parents, huh? Dead dad and a fuck-up mom - guess Pace couldn't win either way. But he wasn't Pace, he was Ibis. He had to remember that. This isn't Pace's mom, this is Ibis' mom. Apparently.

"Hopefully this'll only take a few seconds..." He mumbles to himself as he aims for the quest marker. He wasn't sure how much 'hello son, I am your mother!' he could take, even from a fake digital lady.

He heads towards what is marked as "his" home, looks over at "his" windows and "his" front door, while standing just beside "his" front yard. It's trippy as all hell. But what confuses Ibis a little more is that there's already some other chick here, outside his house! Uh. "His" house.

"Howdy, neighbour." He steps up with a wave. "Pretty sure you're snooping around my fake videogame house. Need a hand?"

The stranger attempts to open the door, but her attempt is nullified by the stern power of forced siblingship, it seems. Ibis smirks down at her - if anybody had any doubts that this was Pace, the smirk would give it away. It had been impeccably honed, after all, and put to years of expert use.

Pace knew Mars, of course, and knew that he played. They hadn't discussed anything in detail, or mentioned their characters, so he was completely unaware of who he was speaking to in this moment as he took in the heterochromic little catgirl in front of him. Tuesday was cute. And, even better, she was calling him handsome. Straight away, this conversation was going very well. He puts one arm up and leans against the wall of "their" house.

"You think? Ha! Different dads, I imagine, though" He chuckles, and gives her a gentle poke on her fair arm. "Shame, though, yeah. Maybe she's actually one of our mother-in-law, that's the issue. Maybe the game thinks we're married" He grins, gold irses twinkling and the corners of his eyes crinkling into laugh-lines.

"Hopefully it's just for this quest, either way. Ladies first?" Ibis puts his hand on the door handle to open it for his new friend, and it gently clicks down in his grip, with both members of the party now suitably close to the quest destination. The... questination.
