Oh yeah, it was fucking on.
Orion didn't need to be told what to do, he simply clutched his pokemon tightly to his chest, rolled forward onto his back, aimed his feet carefully and clicked the heels of his boots together. They crackled and he lurched forward at exceptional speed, GOMMBA STOPMING a bug on the roof that had been spitting acid over poor Roxy. The creature let out a shriek that was silenced as Orion forcefully raised his boot from its skull and used it like a metalic guillotine, letting the force of his legs and electromagnetics amplify his kick, resounding out with a large Klang.
"You two know what to do eh?" He asked, hanging upside down.
"Kick ass!" Achilles mewled. "Pwotect our fren!" Arachnae chirped.
"Aight, Imma drop you both, K. I'll take the top, Achilles you fight em off from the bottom. Rach, I need you to navigate staying on top of her and spraying the acid off her, water will dillute and rinse it away. Once you're certain its clear make sure you give it a good scrub and kiss her booboos ok?"
"I'm getting really good at kissing booboos!"
"Perfect, you two ready?" Orion asked. Both pokebuddies nodded, and he gave em a good ole spiderman kiss on the forehead before it was bon voyage. Both of them air dropped into their locations with relative ease, though the smol spider had a hard time maneuvering on the steely body of Roxy. Orion would turn back to the strange corrupted bug monsters and crack his neck. "Alright you bug fuckkos, come get some!" Charging forward, he hit them with a series of mix ups that would boggle the mind, mixing in a series of jabs with the occasional peeling of his magnetized feet from the cave to guillotine kick for devastating damage.
Achilles, on the other hand, was giving these bugs Vietnam flashbacks. Fire was supper effective, and he was using that to his best advantage. He would spit large gouts of ember at ranged foes, trying to peel them from the wall, whilst those that got up close and personal ate some fire fangs. It was here he realized two things, the acid clearly didn't bother them since it was their own acid, and that it was flammable. Doing his best to keep the fire away from Roxy, he went to work trying to ignite as many bugs as he could.
Arachnae was skittering about on top of Roxxy, being the words cutest little battlefield nurse they could. Putting their new support skills into action, that would blast away the acid with gouts of water, and then skitter over to scrub acidic residue off the steel type, finalizing their aftercare with a little smooch on the damaged area to make the booboo go away as best they could. Using their natural spider stickyness they did their best to stay atop the whirling digging machine, occasionally announcing themselves "I'm on your spike! Please don't crush me!"
Achilles fight the bugs 10, Burninates the bugs with fire 10, burning acid 10 (+10 to light cause burning bugs make great torches? ;D) Orion fought bug 10, used guillotine kick 10 Arachnae kiss booboo 10, support bonus? 10, uses water to dillute acid 10?

Did it really have to be this loud though? Natsuki covered her ears as the drilling began, not having expected everything around her to have made so much noise-- even if it was quite obvious in hindsight. The girl kept her Pokemon at her feet with Froakie on the left and Chespin on the right as she watched the forming tunnel fill with swarms of odd looking bugs. What even were these damn things? She'd never seen anything like them before-- although she knew they had to go. Closely following behind the Steelix Natsuki gave her first command to Chespin, ideas and a plan forming in her head. "Yo, Chespin! Shoot pin missles through the middle of all of the bugs on the walls! Try to hit them right, okay?~ The catgirl said as her Chespin seemed more excited to hug her as she had crouched down to give her command. One stern look was enough to get her command across as she gave Chespin a pat on the head before sending them off. Standing right in front of Natsuki the little Chespin shot off a volley of razor sharp needles through multiple bugs and some of them completely missed and just stuck them-self in the rock of the tunnel. "That... could have gone better-- but you did enough!" Reaching down to pick up the Chespin, Natsuki brought it up to climb up onto her shoulders, beginning to mess around with her hair. Natsuki only sighed as she couldn't keep this little thing under control, and began to stage two of her plan. Stepping forward, Natsuki held out her hands like finger-guns as her hair lit ablaze and sparks began to shoot out from her fingers. Soon enough those same sparks began to shoot out as mini-sized fireballs that hit the pin's that Chespin had stuck into the wall, lighting them ablaze and almost lighting up the entirety of the underground tunnel. However from her hair randomly combusting... Chespin was now running in circles behind her with it's tail on fire-- which Froakie quickly doused out. "I love you two to death but... gods..." Were the only words Natsuki could muster up about her two Pokemon. So far her plan was working out just as she had expected it too.. but now she didn't know what to do with Froakie. Crouching down, the girl looked like she was whispering things to her Froakie before they both jumped up like an idea had struck. Turning around towards Roxy, Natsuki picked up Froakie and threw them atop the Steelix nearby Arachnae. Without wasting a second Froakie began to pull of the sticky foam from it's neck and stick it around the the steely skin, hoping that it would act as a shield against the acid being flung down. "Hope your spider doesn't mind me helping! We need to protect Roxy!" Natsuki shouted out towards Orion who was still stuck on the ceiling, hoping her voice reached over all of the noise in the tunnel. Chespin killing bugs +10, Natsuki on fire +10 to lighting up the tunnel, lighting torches +10, using pins from Chespin for another +10? Froakie protecting Roxy +10, maybe another +10 for support since the foam would last?

Laguna climbed up into the cart, her eyes wide as she looked all around. It was kind of impressive, really. The size of Steelix was almost a bit intimidating. Just how scary would it be if they caught one of the larger pokemon as well? Goodness, when was UNOVR going to add the Wailord! With the Swimmer Class, she could totally fly on a whale!
Or, well, after she equipped it with a saddle. And, well, didn't just soar off into the sky. There was still a limit to some of these things, after all.
Her mind wandered, dreaming about flying whales as they were pulled deeper underground. The Freeze Grenade in her hand was balanced carefully as she examined it over and over. It was kind of a marvel, a part of her almost hoped she'd get to take it with her afterward!
Suddenly, the ground ruptured and a swarm of health bars made their appearance. A bunch of ugly bug-like monsters dared to show their face, and she frowned. "Eww... Definitely don't like. Let's squish these bugs, y'all!"
She tossed out her Pokemon into the cart alongside her, being very careful not to crowd out Lucky Guy and Mr. Westfall. Her Bergmite was unable to even see over the cart, while Popplio grabbed the edges with its fins.
"Glacia, you help Roxy dig. You're can do this. Just remember what we practiced. Spin to win!" And sure enough, she would pick up Glacia, who'd give a wink to confirm she was ready. A few of her ice spikes were glowing akin to tv static, only to suddenly shine with a metallic sheen as she used HARDEN in preparation.
Laguna suddenly reared back, tossing the Bergmite forwards.
"Let it rip!"
As soon as she was in the air, Glacia used RAPID SPIN and barreled forwards like a speeding top out of hell. Landing on the tip of her hardened ice spikes, her intense spinning would hopefully at least make the rock easier for Roxy to dig with.
"Aight, Marina! Do what you do best!" The seal would turn around to face the Steelix, watching as a few pokemon were already attempting to help out. She, of course, thought this was the best thing in the world. It was so nice seeing pokemon care for one another. She began to clap her seal fins together in cheer, encouraging the Dewpider and the Froakie to keep up the good work with an ENCORE!
Laguna's eyes quickly scanned the environment to see just what she could do. Using up her grenade on the first wave seemed like a bad idea. As the cart was pulled forwards and bugs continued to approach, she got an idea. Perhaps it was time to test out a few bugs of her own.
"Everyone, hold on tight! I got a dumb plan, but if it works, it's gonna be freaking hilarious!" Pixelation would cover her hands and feet as she suddenly leaned with all her weight. With any luck and a little bit of physics engine bugs, the minecart would glitch into an oncoming rock and send either it or the cart flying into a few of the bugs and squish them dead when the game's collision detection reactivated. Considering the cart was being dragged along and strapped to the Steelix, she certainly hoped for the rock.
Bergmite: Help Roxy Dig 10, Hardened Spikes 10, Rapid Spin Drill 10 Popplio: Heal Steelix 10, Motivational Inspiration 10. Laguna: Fight off the bugs 10, Massive Minecart 10, Beta Tester Collision Glitch 10.

Lucky was in a particularly strange situation amongst the party.
The moment he'd gotten into the tunnels, his two Pokémon wanted out of his Pokéball then and there, presumably to ensure the game that the rest of his team would be locked into their own balls. There was a particular problem with this that he hadn't wanted to come up until later, yet was now undeniable:
Gyarados and Steelix did not fit together in a tunnel.
"Rear-guard's still secure, guys! No worries!" The people collectively decided to fix this by having Selma stay in the back to guard against tunneling bugs. Lucky, as his trainer, stayed back as well, and all was going good as a result. He'd seen a few eyes peeringg from the darkness behind, yet the presence of Gyarados alone was enough to dissuade them... for now. It seemed like the front-lines were doing well, too-or at least, Lucky thought they were doing well. He trusted their ability--Especially that of orioncayge . How could that guy possibly be overwhelmed?
And so, the real question of what to do lie on what Lucky could do to pass the time while in the backrow of the tunnel gang. He decided to make everyone's time here more productive by getting results out of this mine.
There had been a theory he'd wanted to test about his class for quite a while now, and this had seemed like a good time to do so. His right hand ungloved, Lucky kept his palm to the wall and watched as it turned golden in the dim candle-light. His theory had been the following: Only what he touches would turn to gold. It had been a theory well founded, for his gloves were gold whilst the gem held in their palm had yet to do so. Hence, he would wait for the golden spread to speed ever so slightly--for when the gold could only spread horizontally, that would mean that it had reached something that wasn't considered to be the same stone as what he touched.
When he found such a clause, he and his Pokémon would get to work. Selma, by virtue of being a big and strong water-typed pokemon, knew just what to do with rocks... Smash straight into them with sheer mass. Thankfully, transmuted gold was a softer material than stone, else Selma could have gotten hurt. Lucky was also thankful that the gold seemed to absorb a lot of the force by crumbling inward, for the idea of the tunnel collapsing under the force was not a preferable alternative... at all.
A moment's chiding corrected Selma's brute actions. He had strength, but had no need to use it all by smashing into a cave wall. Pulling out the gold was enough.
His Klank was much more efficient at digging through the soft gold. It had up and attached to the wall, and from there had begun spinning as fast as it could. Gold was ground beneath the unending tide of steel gear teeth. It held experience with stone-All those hours of being bashed against rocks came into full force now. Klank would have his revenge. Against the rocks, he had hardened-grown a tolerance against the stone. No mere WALL could stop it from advancing now.
Lucky would do his best to work by his Pokémon's side, forming the bulk of the delicate work. He hadn't exectly been given a pickaxe, but he still had a few tools on him all the same. In particular, he found great use prying gold off the wall using a grappling hook taken from his climber's kit as a crowbar. In the case of less delicate necessities, he also had Klank to strike the stone with.
Beneath the soft and pliable earth lie gemstones, beautiful gemstones. Lucky made sure to load them up into the minecart with the gloved hand.
+10 Lucky is digging for gems! +10 using Alchemy creatively as a radar +10 using tools he has on hand to dig +50?! No bug smashing +10 Selma is digging for gems! +10 using the sheer strength of a Gyarados against pliable mineral +10 because water type is good against rock!! Super dragon defeated the rock > +50?! No bug smashing +10 Klank is digging for gems! +10 steel-type moves grinding up rock +10 Klank has a long and extensive experience of being used to smash rocks. He has trained for this. +50?! No bug smashing
Total expected result: +240 or +140 if that +50 was a one time thing and not a modifier

Arachnae started off by doing what they do best, Kissin Booboos.
Over their very short lifespan they'd become what you might call an expert at kissin all sorts of booboos, wether it be electroshock scorchmarks, rug burn, rock tumbles, acid burn, you name it, they could kiss it better. But these, these were some advanced booboos.
Some might even call them ouchies.
Ouchies were a whole new ballgame, and required more than just a lil bit of kisses and love. They needed Kisses, love, and dirt. It was common medical knowledge that rubbing dirt on things was top tier medical advice, and so she want about her work. First, she gave Roxie plenty of kisses to help numb the pain, then she would skitter off to find some PREMIUM dirt and rub it over her ouchies, mixing it with water to make a soothing mud bath that would hopefully harden into SICK ARMOR.
As she did this however, she failed to heed the warnings of mr miner man and failed to keep an eye up. A long, snakelike appendage snached from a shadowy corner and grabbed the itsy bitsy spider with lightning speed.
"HELP!" The bug screeched. "I NEED AN ADULT!"
Orion, the designated adult of that bug, immediately bolted to action. With the speed of Mercury and the Strength of Hercules he was on it before you could say SHAZAM. But speaking of transformations, it was like the fire within him had cooled. No longer did his steps sizzle with heat, or his breath flicker with a little bit of flame, instead his muscles PUSLSED and it's said that fight they grew three sizes. With an enraged fist he smashed a rock to pieces, almost like he'd used ROCK SMASH. Then he gave it one hell of a SEISMIC TOSS and smashed the grabber's arms under a large rock, releasing the poor spider before it could reach harms way. The bug, shaken, skittered and gave Orion's leg a hug.
"Thank you!" "You good lil dude?" "Yeh, I think I peed myself tho." "We'll get you cleaned up after this mess is done." "Otay."
That short aside done, Arachnae scampered back to work, the fear of ouchies propelling her healing even further. Orion tracked down the Grabber and grappled him to submission, finding a rather tasty looking vein of minerals. Giving them another smash, he began tossing tossing them to Roxie, forming one hell of a dinner pile.
Achilles was having a little less fun dealing with the bugs. They were beginning to swarm, and he was having an INCREDIBLY difficult time keeping up with them, but it wasn't like he could just let them keep coming. He worked his flames as quick as he could, working as efficiently as he could. His flame would burninate the bugs, scorching them to a crisp, but even that couldn't be enough to keep pace. He would have to work smarter, not harder. That's when...things got weird. He found himself with the sudden urge to...stand up. Rising from all fours he ASCENDED, he was doing it! He was evolving into a...
No wait, something was horrifically wrong. He was still a Torracat, not an Incineroar. Something had happened, taking the wind right out of his sails. Still, perhaps this would be a good test run for his future tenure as a beefcake. He found a bug he hadn't scorched to cinders, supressed the urge to scream KALIMA, and dove his hand into its shell, pulling out an acidic pouch. Grinning, he turned and chucked it as hard as he could at a group of bugs, bursting it mid air with a shot of flame, turning it into a scorching shower. This...this was it right there. He resumed his work, burning the bugs as quickly as he could.
Orion Gathers food for Roxie (+10). He creatively uses Rock Smash to break the stone into manageable chunks (+10) and uses Seismic Toss to heft them over to Roxie so she can gobble em up (+10?) In saving Arachnea from the Grabber, he finds a veritable feast for her to go to town on (+50)
Arachnae ups her triage work (10 healing) by using her healing expertise (Support class bonus +10) to give Roxie a therapeutic mud bath for her ouchies, hopefully soothing them but also giving her armor against future ouchies (+10?).
Achilles continues his onslaught against the bugs (10), using his favored enemy bonus to burninate them (Fire type super effective, +10) and then making the unholy decision to stand up early and begin using his newfound...arms...to throw acidic waterbaloons that he ignited to cause hell (+10)

Things were... going smoothly-- kinda? The pins on the wall shone bright as the bug corpses some were stuck into helped keep the fires ablaze-- although over time as the tunnel grew longer and the crew moved deeper the light that shone over the tunnel became a dim light in the distance, something had to be done about that! Other plans had to be set in motion though as Natsuki gazed around the tunnel to see what everyone else was doing-- maybe she should just do the same set of tasks she did before? Can't hurt to double down... Yelling over to her Froakie still on Roxy's back, Natsuki beckoned them back down, along with making sure Chespin wasn't running off deeper into the tunnel as she turned around to see them lying in the dirt... taking a nap. Grumbling out loudly she'd kick up the dirt around Chespin to wake them up. "You can sleep when we get out of this place! I'll buy both of you as much food as you can eat if you listen to me for just an hour... deal?" Natsuki practically had to bribe her Pokemon to listen to her... which seemingly worked as the Chespin shot up like a rocket onto it's two legs with it's arms at it's side ready for a command! "Chespin, shoot some leech seeds around the floor where the bugs are coming from! Try not to get them stuck if you can!" Natsuki commanded as she kept back-stepping to stay near the Steelix, holding her arms out so Froakie could jump up into them as she held them while Chespin did their job! Volleys of seeds were shot in the direct path of the bugs as vines grew out entangling some of the bugs as the vines shone brightly with a green light! Natsuki couldn't help but sigh quite loudly-- happy things were finally going her way. Tossing Froakie back down onto the ground, Natsuki readying herself for another command. "Froakie, Water Pulse the ceiling above the bugs! Without missing a beat beams of water began to shoot out and slam into the brittle ceiling, rocks and dirt falling down to squash the bugs right below in a satisfying CRUNCH!. Natsuki let a large beaming smile as the bugs were squished and squashed to pieces, running over to the tiny wall of rocks with vines and seeds mixed in with corpses. "Chespin, take all the seeds you can find that aren't covered in bug juices and feed them to Roxy! That should work... I think?" After sending Chespin off to collect any seeds still intact, she waited a few seconds for them to finish the job before bending down to the vines and pressing her finger right onto one of the smaller ends, igniting it as the fire quickly spread through the pile of rubble until there was light back in the tunnel again! It was a success, and she turned around to look back at Lucky, Laguna, and Orion with a big spark-filled thumbs up with a toothy smile!
Chespin - Heal +10, Leech Seed +10, Yummy Salad for Roxy <3 +10Froakie - Kill Bugs! +10, Collateral Damage (Sweeper?) +10, Environmental Usage? +10Natsuki - Light +10, Leech Seed Vines? +10, Using class to start fire +10

Lucky was in a strange situation. Trapped in the sky, neither rise nor fall held tenure upon his person. Lucky was trapped like a finger in a Chinese toy. How had he gotten here?
Quite simple, really. The moment he had a chance to not be stuck in the back of the tunnel and feel guilt over it, he leapt at the chance. Almost immediately, he'd even found a patch of mushrooms off the beaten path!
Said mushrooms were the perfect bait for prey to come along. A long tendril snatched the unsuspecting Lucky right up into the sky, trying to take him right into the ceiling before he could so much as scream.
Only... he wasn't going up. In fact, something else was holding him down. His Gyarados held him straight in his jaws, which were now locked with that owned by the great ceiling snatcher thing that Lucky wasn't sure was even a Pokémon at all. If anything, it was a really messed up Lileep that hung from the ceiling.
That was how Lucky found himself trapped in the sky. The grabber held him up while the Gyarados held him down.
"Hey, uh... Can anyone spare some time? I've got some meat on me to share. I'm pretty syre Roxy can reach it up here!" Lucky called out not so desperately, hoping that Roxy would soon come to take their snack and free hum in the process. The dillihent Gyarados was shoveling out the mushrooms nearby into a pile with his tail, a wonderful hors d'oeuvre for the coming Steelix.
Lucky's Klang, meanwhile, had heard the call to battle and obliged. It was doing its' very best to try and grind bugs into a fine juice between the vicious gears of its teeth. Klang was a vicious fighter, taking the opportunity to crush anything it could as soon as it was able to. Its crushing edges, electrified to the touch after charging up, made horrifying crackles as giant bugs were struck by the powerful voltage.
Hopefully the master Lucky would notice its hard work soon... Where was Lucky, anyway? Oh, new bug. Crush. Oh, new bug...
Lucky - Find food +10, +10 for a keen eye finding the secret food, +10 for acting as an anchor keeping the grabber in place (free meat!) - +50 bonus objective Gyarados - Find food +10, +10 for his incredible reach, perfect for grabbing hard to reach food, +10 for holding a fat, juicy grabber in place Klang - Attack bugs +10, +10 as a Sweeper Pokémon, +10 because he is being a literal bug-zapper right now

"Woohooooooo!" Laguna cried out as the cart crushed bugs beneath the heavy wheels of its minecart. No wonder these things were in so many video games, they were fun! Even still, she audibly gasped as the roof revealed itself to contain so many bugs. That definitely didn't look enjoyable, in any sense of the word.
As they were yanked into a cavern with beautiful blue crystals, her eyes widened. It didn't matter if they were worth a damn, they were gorgeous! As soon as Roxy stopped drilling, Laguna hopped out. Looks like it was feeding time!
Of course, it didn't take much time for Laguna to recognize the threat of Grabbers. After not only Mr. Westfall warned of them, not only did the adorable water spider of orioncayge 's get yoinked into the sky, but so did Lucky Guy ! Thankfully, both were rescued, but she immediately became a bit more wary as she searched around for food.
"Glacia, Marina, you two stick together! Gather up what gems you can for the cart, while I get Roxy some snacks!" The two pokemon would nod at her, the Bergmite still intensely dizzy from it's spin, before they split off from their trainer.
Being extra careful where she walked with the dangers of grabbers, she kneeled down along the ground as she began to search. Just what would a Steelix eat? Probably tasty minerals! But, what minerals were tasty? After picking up a few rocks that seemed interesting, she licked them, only to just chuck them aside as she gagged. "Yuck, bad choice."
Perhaps it was time she tried another one of these "features." Or, was it a bug? Regardless, Laguna activated her UI and began to inspect element on various rocks. There seemed to be... so many stats and code for a single piece of rock. It almost overwhelmed her.
However, eventually, she finally found a few stones that were labeled "Tasty Stone" according to the UI. They didn't look all that different, but perhaps they had juicy minerals inside of them! She didn't bother licking these ones, just trusting the UI. Has it ever lied before? She'd grin widely back at Natsuki , showing off her prized tasty rocks as she ran.
Her Pokemon across the way, were hard at work gathering up as many gems as they could. Or at least, they would if they weren't so short, and all these gems were on the ceiling. They seemed to let out a few noises back and forth as if arguing how to handle it all before coming to some kind of conclusion with another nod. Glacia took in a deep breath, all before covering the ground in a thick layer of POWDER SNOW.
The Popplio, meanwhile, began to blow bubbles with its nose. Blowing up a large massive bubble, she suddenly climbed atop it, delicately balancing before bouncing up towards the ceiling like some kind of acrobat from the circus! As soon as she was up there, she followed up with an AQUA JET, slicing past rocks filled with glimmering gemstones as they fell to the snow below, acting as a sort of cushion to prevent them from breaking! Everyone knew bigger rocks meant more expensive rocks!
Glacia, not to be outdone by her bouncing friend, readied herself by crouching for a bit, only to jump into the air with an impressive leap. DUNGEON: CORE BREAKERRound 3MECHANICS
Each round, you and your Pokemon may each perform a single action from the list of objectives (3 actions total per post).
These actions all further the mission or your final reward. BOLDED objectives are CRITICAL, and if not completed there will be dire consequences. Objectives that are ITALICIZED are OPTIONAL, and will either give you the chance to earn more loot, or a benefit in future rounds.
Please describe completing the objective in character (assume at least partial success). Each OBJECTIVE has a number next to it. This number must be hit or exceeded to complete the task. Assigning yourself or a Pokemon to a task counts for 10, with an additional 10 for each creative and relevant usage of gameplay mechanics, up to a MAXIMUM of 30 total points contributed towards an objective per Pokemon/player.
The bonuses could come from Pokemon typing, moves, Skill Tree abilities, or use of in-game abilities or systems. In the case of the player action, I'm expecting creative use of what is around you, as well as good application of video game mechanics.
Sometimes, special requirements will be advertised for certain objectives. Completing the task while hitting these requirements will award BIG BONUSES. (Note: Each player can only claim the same Big Bonus ONCE per round)

"Uh oh skeetyohs!" Arachnae chirped as the looked at the lava before them. "That looks like its spicy! I don like spicy!"
The bug skittered around nervously, turning to Orion who was already sweating. "Can you work on keepin Roxy cool and collected?" Orion asked. "I'll work on prepping her up for the next battle and Achilles, you look for the core eh?"
"Rodger!" Achilles mewled. "Okie dokie!~" Arachnae squeaked, giving a lil salute.
Arachnae did her best to make Roxy comfy in the extreme heat, something easily done given her inherent water skills. She began to spout out water over the large metallic Pokémon, jets of steam billowed upwards, but some of it managed to pool around the Steelix. Orion went to work, smashing rocks and piling them up around the Steelix to allow runoff water it to better pool up around Roxy. Once that was done, it was time for a deep tissue massage. He would isolate the sore spots and using his IRON GRIP he would work the knots out, all the while giving the Steelix calming words of affirmation. "You got this champ, keep it up, you're doing great!"
Roxie was basically having a spa day.
Achilles on the otherhand, was scampering about. He would maneuver as far as he could, then call for Orion to toss him a rock, he would jump back to avoid the splash back, the hop from man made platform to platform made looking easier. Whenever he would peer into a dark crevice, he would spit some embers down it to light it up, revealing whatever might be lurking down there, be it prize or punk,
Arachnae continues to pamper Roxy, (10 Base) Using her expert booboo mending skills (Support 10) she spits some water on her to cool her down, combined with her mud skills and kisseys, she's giving Roxy one hell of a spa day (+10)
Orion works on prepping Roxie for the next big push (Healing base 10) By piling rocks around her, he has constructed a jacuzzi of sorts to sooth her (+10) and is giving her a massage whilst hyping her up for the next bout (+10)
Achilles is on the prowl (Base 10) using some or Orion's rocks to navigate the chamber better (+10) and using his own fire to light up any dark nooks and crannys to see better (+10?)

Laguna was of course, quite pleased that her offering of rocks satisfied the Steelix's stomach. It always was a little passion of little baby Abigaelle to read the Pokedex entries. The story of Lapras returning from extinction always got to her.
With a smile, Laguna clambered back into the minecart with her Pokemon, carefully standing amidst precious gemstones. There really wasn't much room, but it would have to do. She high-fived her Popplio and pressed a quick kiss to Bergmite. They were doing fantastic work!
As they continued to dig, it got hot... Too hot. She was clutching her Bergmite to her chest, the cool air around it helping keep her at least somewhat cool, but it was definitely approaching an unbearable heat. The earth around them began to steam. Not a good sign.
They blasted into a new cavern, and she was immediately in awe. Melting ore spilled below into what appeared to be the top of an underground volcano. Or, was it just a lava lake? Semantics aside, She hopped out of the cart right away as the danger began to make itself known. Roxy was in danger, and so were they.
She ran towards the lava lake, Freeze Grenade instinctively in her hands as her Pokemon bounced off after her. Sliding to an edge of a cliff, she was just moments away from chucking it in, before pausing. There was no way she could get close enough with this heat, and she only had one shot. It was melting hot, and it was getting hard to even think. The heat raised up in front of her from over the cliff and the lava bubbled and roared in front of her intimidatingly. As if it was welcoming her in, inviting her to its warm and deadly embrace.
"Glacia!" She called out, the Bergmite finally catching up to her. "HARDEN, please! Bring all that water in the air and harden your shell! Keep us cool!"
She'd proudly present herself, the ice shell atop her back growing larger as she rapidly cooled the steam around her. Laguna immediately let out a sigh of relief, readying her arm as she stretched. She might have a good arm, but even she doubted she could toss it all the way into the middle of the lava. "Marina, I need you baby. Blow your frozen winds to help carry this forwards."
After the Popplio nodded, Laguna took a deep breath as she aimed her best. Without another word, she reared back and suddenly pulled the pin. Tossing it forwards as hard as she could, Popplio immediately blew out an intense ICY WIND, blowing it forwards towards the middle of the lake!
As it soared forwards, Laguna cheered out with a pump of her fist. "Bullseye! Gonna be, anyways! Let's help it out guys, give it all you got!" Popplio continued to huff and puff the frozen air for as long as it could, but her Bergmite had other plans.
It was time to attempt to freeze hell over. Summoning the frozen strength from within, frozen clouds would begin to form up above. Circling and spiraling about before slamming down massive shards of ice after ice in an AVALANCHE.
Laguna: Extinguish the lava 10, Wind Carrying Grenade Forwards! 10, Comfortable temperature to focus! 10, Use the Ice Grenade 100.
Popplio: Extinguish the lava 10, Icy Wind to chill the Lava! 10,

Just how hot was it down here? Is what Natsuki would have said if the heat DID bother her, strolling into the cave dripping with molten ore and multiple rivers of lava it didn't feel much different to her than a hot summers day! She didn't even watch where she stepped, stomping over the crusted rivers of magma before stepping out into the main open room with the other members. What did she want to do now...? Watching Orion and Laguna accompanied by their Pokemon do some of the most important things that came to her mind-- she quickly realized this could be her time to go mining! Who knew what types of rare gems might have formed around a fucking volcano underground? Even if Natsuki was okay, her two Pokemon definitely were not having quite as easy of a time as she was. Froakie was lying on it's back on the warm rock of the cavern shooting water out from it's mouth like a fountain, letting it splash back down onto itself to deal with the heat. Chespin was running back and forth jumping over Froakie to splash through the small fountain. Now, Natsuki knew she couldn't be TOO mad at these two... but she still very slowly walked up and grabbed both of them up into her arms without saying a word about what they were doing. "Remember how I said that I'd promise you two as much food as you can eat once we get out...? Well-- this will be how we get the money for that... I hope." Without missing a beat Natsuki ran away from the middle of the room and over towards one of the side walls of the magma coated cave. An idea was forming in Natsuki's head as you could practically see smoke flying out from her ears from how hard she was thinking, but she finally crouched down in front of the wall with a small stream of magma leaking past. "Chespin... can you shoot pin missiles out-- but gently? Don't break them or get them stuck in the floor, and Froakie-- get your water pulse ready, I want you to blast the pins when we hold them up!" Finishing her preparations, Chespin pathetically launched a set of 4 pins on the ground as both Natsuki and Chespin picked two up each, swiping them through the stream of magma before holding them up for Froakie to blast them cool! Effectively the two had mini-pickaxes they could use to hack away at the wall! Only issue was how hard it was due to the dense rock this far underground... "Froakie, can you water pulse the wall right here? That might be strong enough to weaken it just a tad-- I hope!" Froakie seemed to do what can only be seen as a sigh from having to do all of the work as rings of water slammed into the stone wall, sizzling from the heat. Only way to find out if that worked now is to start digging! Natsuki and Chespin stepped closer towards the wall as the two began to slam their make-shift tools into the wall. Rocks and dust crumbled down as their tools plus the water weakening the wall seemed to work wonders! In a short amount of time the few had already smashed through about a foot of the wall as different colorful ore and gems were hiding inside. Chespin couldn't help themselves as they dove headfirst into the tiny hole the two had made-- quickly jumping back out with a singed head from the heat of the wall. Knowing not to do THAT again, the two continued bonking and smashing through the rock wall before stumbling back over to the minecart with a full rainbow in both of their arms! Froakie - Water Pulse to Create Tools +10, Water Pulse to Weaken Wall +10, support boyo for Collecting gems <3Chespin - Using pins as handles for the tools +10, Mining through the wall +10, Pathetic Pin Missles +10, +20 for burning themselfNatsuki - Mining +10, Dipping pins in lava for tools +10, +10 for being the mastermind behind all the ideas! Lucky took to shifing around in the stone as if God had come a-calling for him from it. And to be fair, He might have well been doing so--should nobody else find it, terrible disaster would befall the people in the cave. Surely. Thus, Lucky was getting to work. After ensuring that the volcano has frozen over nice and well enough, Lucky got himself and his team a free and clear space to do what sounded best at a time like this.
Dig down. Dig really down.
The process was simple: Gyarados and Lucky would shave away the floor in layers, opening up what lie beneath intil they found the damned Core. After softening the ground into gold once more, the two got to work. Gyarados had the prime power of a weight in tons and a psessurised stream attack, while Lucky had a tool in the form of putting his Klang on a stick to direct it where to let loose.
This silly team of excavators werent just here for show... They were here to get the job done. They would fond the core using this crazy method...
Lucky - +10 Look for the Core! +10 using Alchemist features +10 using effective tools Gyarados - +10 Look for the Core! +10 for using sheer weight against a target on the floor +10 using water type against the rocks Klang - 10 look for the Core! +10 Steel type against rocks +10 being used as a tool to effectively scrape them away
Total: +90 To search for the Core -20 to FIND it
