Since our Beta launch we've been hard at work adding, tweaking, and fixing. Patch 0.2 is all about quality of life improvements and getting the site running as smooth as Silcoon. You can check it out here!

Patch 0.1 is here, and with it, the opening of Beta Island! This glorious, sunlit isle is just a hop, skip and a shipwreck away from the Asper mainland, and is full of lush, untextured jungle, buggy beaches, and Pokemon that run according to their programming.

While, in the end, him and Pretzel had went back before finding the REALLY scary stuff, he had gotten his Nincada out of it. The pokemon was currently clutched to his front with her poking legs, digging holes into his shirt the way only bugs were able. She was adorable. This fucked up looking bug reminded him of summers back in the States when he was a kid. Running around in the peach grove and seeing all the June Bugs and other insects that were lethargic on the hot days. Finding cicada shed shells and collecting to show his older sister. Fun stuff! "I think this will be a wonderful partnership." Furrlicity muttered to the Nincada. He needed to think of a name. Rubbing her shell, he felt the insect buzz and shiver under his touch. Must have still been nervous.

Maybe it wanted revenge for the capture and subsequent trade-in of it's brother. Maybe it was just pissed off. Maybe it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either way, it would be dying today. "Okay, first battle. You got this!" The Nincada buzzed and whined but otherwise didn't move. Furrlicity's smile slowly turned into a frown. Then into an eye roll. "Okay. Battle. Kick it's ass." The Nincada just buzzed again but didn't move. Now, Furrlicity scrunched up his brows. Digging his fingers between the bug and his clothes, he lifted the Nincada up and over his head like Rafiki held Simba over Pride Rock. Then he flung the bug at the Skwovet as hard as he could.

Furrlicity walked over and picked his bug back up, which just twitched her legs while on her back. Holding her up, he looked in her eyes, face to face. "These things will kick our ass out here. Survival of the fittest." The Nincada just buzzed like before. At least she didn't seem that bothered by being yote! When Furrlicity gave her the chance she just climbed slowly back to cling to his shirt. He checked her over before shrugging and moving on. No harm, no foul!
