Miasma spreads like an eerie fog across the yard, and Finn lets out a nervous laugh as he steps closer to the house in order to avoid its path. He ducks past the front door and finds himself in a hall full of portraits he swears must be watching him. Their cheerful gaze only makes the sensation more disturbing, and he's eager to move onto somewhere less cursed.
Unfortunately, his path is blocked by a row of comical hammers.
"Dude, what the fuck."
It's at this point Yggy Br00ks nearly backs into him, and Finn stumbles sideways to avoid crashing into the poor girl. He loses his footing and gets whacked by the same hammer that'd just shown up his teammate, the impact knocking some of the decorative clasps off his outfit. A purple gem goes whizzing down the hall, but he never does hear the clatter of it knocking into something else.
I'll never see that again.
Had someone set up a tailor in the settlement? They really ought to, for situations just like this.
Shaking off his annoyance at the wardrobe malfunction, he grins at Yggy's compliment. "Y'know, I don't think we have any kegs at the Church, but I oughta fix that. Getting drunk can only add to the ambience."
Looking to Alice!, he says, "Looks like you've got fire covered, yeah? I'll start working on that next one..."
And by I, Finn of course means Caher, his Mudkip throwing rocks down the hall toward the swinging hammer trap.
Finn continues to puzzle over the rhyme he'd heard, mumbling, "A mountain trail rugged and wide..." as he leans against the wall and tries to ignore the cheery façade of the hallway's canvas denizens.

Sadly, Furrlicity was not cool or epic enough (yet) to have any haunted messages. He was still mostly just distracted by the cheese table. Micheal gave him a pitying look from across the way and Furrlicity sighed sadly and put down his bowl. Maybe it was time to throw in the towel. There would be other chances to gorge himself on forbidden delights. Alone. Without judgment.
It's time to go inside. Furrlicity wanders over to the Keg and places a hand on it as he pours one last drink for the road.
It feels weird underhand. When he pulls away, he examines the flakes of sticky, black char.
The drink is placed down as he picks at it absently, forgotten. He's so lost in thought he doesn't even really notice where he is until Big Bee calls out to him. (Furrlicity wasn't the best Team Player.)
"Stain? Huh?" Wandering over, he sees it as well. Who could miss it? The stain is fucking huge. Some type of water damage, but there is a fine white kind of fuzz creeping at the edges.
"Is this.... yeast?" He sounds as confused as anyone else might be. Some of the wallpaper is loose, so he digs a sharp claw underneath to peel it away. Sure enough, more thin stands of 'hair'. It was familiar enough to him; since he owned a bakery, he was very familiar with Yeast and it's practices.
When the paper peeled away, a tiny door was revealed. A hidden wall chest!
"Oh shit, this is cool! What do you think we'll find?" Making no bones about stealing, Furrlicity picked up his Shroomish from the ground, where he had been following, and had him blast another Bullet Seed at the rusty hinges. It clanked open after a moment, rusty nails and the door falling to the ground.
Inside was... a box. Rusty and gross, but when Furrlicity plucked it out and opened it up, a Gardevoir Ballerina tried to spin. She lurched and her song was crooked and warped; everything too rusty. Inside the music box was what once might have been a golden ring. Now it was just a corroded hunk of metal.
"Wonder why they would hide this?" Furrlicity tried to pick out the ring but the ash still on his fingers made him lose his grip. The rusty ring bounced when it hit the floor and rolled under a heavy piece of furniture. "Fuck!"

Ruby eagerly began to sketch another drawing of Jam from the back. While she didn't quite understand what he was saying, they were remarkably expressive! Just how smart were these Pokemon? It clearly struggled to see behind itself, so why not help him out? She grinned and simply immediately began to get to work, unable to help but simply smile.
Her sketch was suddenly interrupted when the scores seemed to show themselves once more. Geez, some people were realy buzzed, huh? Big Bee especially. Where was he anyways? She briefly looked around, only to see him over by the keg, seemingly getting another drink. She shrugged. So long as he knew when to cut himself off, that's what mattered, right? To each their own?
However, as the scavenger hunt was supposedly set up in full swing, Ruby's interest was piqued. She couldn't help it! This was at least something she would understand. Almost reminded her of that Clue movie from '85. A true classic. "I'll have to finish up the rest of the sketch later, Jam. We got a mystery to solve. If I don't get it done tonight, just come and find me, dear! I'm always around!"
She chuckled quietly, following along with her team mates for this endeavor! That is, until she stepped foot in the house and suddenly felt a chill on the back of her neck. This place was spookier than she had realized from the outside. Specifically, the dining room freaked her out. Clocks and clocks and clocks galore. All ticking perfectly in time. There had to be some kind of study on the effects of repetitious sounds on cognitive function, but for the life of her she couldn't remember them. It still unnerved her rather intensely. Who had the patience to perfectly sync every single clock?
Making her way over towards her teammates, Big Bee and Furrlicity Purrfection, carefully walking through the room, she was suddenly stopped by her Munna floating right in front of her, with a stressed expression on her face.
"What's the matter, dear? I know this place is scary, but-" Her eyes slowly drifted down, to the strange spill on the ground in front of her. She had almost stepped in it! It was gross and smelled absolutely foul, with a sickly yellow color. "Oh. That. Gross. Eww..."
And yet, she couldn't help herself but kneel down to get a closer look. The spill didn't seem to have any source, but the liquid appeared almost sticky and viscious, almost like some kind of thick mollasses. Before she could dismiss it, she found something else quite odd.
A large golden tooth, sunk deep within the moldy thick mess. Just who lost this? There was absolutely no way she was touching that, not on her life. It was one thing to look at, and unfortunately smell, but another to reach her hands in. She shuddered at the mere thought, and the ticking was definitely not doing her head any favors.
Summoning her Drowzee to stand by her side as well, Ruby spoke fairly calmly. "Alright you two, see if you can lift that thing out of there please? Don't touch it. We don't know what it could be, and I don't want you gals getting sick!"
The two Pokemon nodded and began to get to work. Murmur's psychic energies reached out to Imprison the golden tooth to hopefully hold the rest of the spill at bay, as Halley's own psychic abilities reached out. A weak Confusion slowly began to jiggle and shake the mess, but it seemed the spill wasn't willing to let it go, sticky beyond all measure. It was beginning to move, but it looked like it needed just a little more of a boost. It really was a good thing she didn't step into it, she might have lost her shoe.
"Er, any help?" Ruby spoke softly, trying to gain the attention of her teammates.

As soon as they were in the house, Grookey ran for the kitchen.
"Groooook!" Kath slurred. "Where ya gon?!"
"SNACKS BABY" Grookey hollered back.
Kath gave an apologetic look to Alice! and followed Grookey in.
There was a loud thud that resonated throughout the house as Bulby bumped into the doorway.
Kath stepped over him and into the kitchen.
Bergamot Gristleborg and Tuesday were already in there, goading out a Vannillish from its hidey spot.
Kath's stomach grumbled. She felt nauseus. She realised she wasn't sure how long that beer had been out in the sun.
"Hey, Bulllllby, you know of aaaaanything that can cure a haaaaangover? Like, beforrrre it haPPens?"
"Nah, man," Bulby said, getting back onto his feet. "I gotta sober up too though. Let's see..."
He scanned the room, and his primal eyes locked onto a Recipe Book on the TOP SHELF of the kitchen cabinet.
"Alright, alright," he said, unfurling his vines for a shot at the prize.
Grookey, in the meantime, was ransacking the pantry.
"OH these are WAY better than that card," he said, biting into an unopened bag of potato chips.
"I can't quite get it," Bulby said. His vines were able to touch the book, but he couldn't get leverage.
"Not powerrful ennnnough?" Kath asked.
"Drunk," he replied mournfully.
Kath looked for help.
"Heyyy, Bergamot Gristleborg ," she slurred, "cannshyouou help my drunk Bulby get that rrrrrecipe book? I proooomise I'll be eevill or whatever!" She smiled asymmetrically in an attempt to be charismatic.

"There must be a secret passage here somewhere," said Morgana. She'd attempted to go through the door into the garden and had been given the ever-original <AREA INACCESSIBLE> message. "To every lock, there is a key!"She produced her Klefki, which, unknown to her, shed sheets of incorporeal rust and decay onto the spotless wood flooring. She was kneeling down by the garden door, about to fit it into the keyhole like a master locksmith, when she heard Kath Ulu slur for help. "You're lucky I find asymmetry both evil and compelling," Bergamot groused, getting to her feet and flouncing over to check out the bookshelf. If we're lucky, moving the book will even unlock a secret passage. That was the most natural solution. "Here's your problem. It's locked behind an objective," Bergamot said, checking her UI and finding the prompt. "Perhaps there's a... yes, there we go." She reached elbow-deep into Bulby's flower like a magician performing a trick and pulled out a Leech Seed. "And with a little pinch of Torment..."At her command, scribbles of dark energy collected around the Klefki like barely-obscured profanity. The string of catscratches surrounded the seed, forming a nuclei of uncontrollable power. Bergamot threw back her head and laughed, hair whipping in the breeze as unknowable forces collected in the kitchen. Then there was a ping! The recipe book Bulby had been reaching for fell off the shelf, hopefully into his waiting vines. Bergamot did a quick perimeter check for secret passages, but found nothing unusual. The door to the Garden was still locked as well. "What a shame," she sighed, going to put Wolverine back in her pocket. But the Klefki was gone. Silver, rust, and all. When did I lose it? Perturbed, Bergamot squeezed past her Gyarados and flounced back out of the kitchen, headed for the Hall of Hammers instead.

A bunch of drunk fuckers stumbling into a haunted house after spooky shit already seemed to be afoot? Color Orion stoked. This was like the start of every slasher flick he could think of, and if his previous experiences with the spooky bits of this world were anything to go off, it was likely to get real, real fucking soon. But he didn't let that show on his face, after all, he was clearly the most #badass member of his crew, and thus he needed to rep it so that a little #Badass would rub off on h0lyn3v1l and Laguna and hopefully inspire them to be cool just like him. Leaving his boys with Mom to make sure she was safe, the fighter would head into the house with his team hopefully at his tail, not letting his knees shake one bit. Orion might as well be a Freezer right now, cause he was the coolest motherfucker around. Strutting through the creaky halls, he didn't let a single bit of the spooky decor phase him. He totally didn't hear a weird creak, nuh uh no sir. Nothing moved in the corner of his eye, that was just his mind playing tricks! And that door that had just slammed shut in the distance? A fucking draft, you'd be daft to think anything else. Still, he had a sense for where to go, he could practically smell the protein powder and sweat of the gym from a mile away. Nothing spooky ever happened at Gyms, so clearly he would investigate it to make sure that any spookyness that was present would be dealt with posthaste. That's why when he opened the door he was not expecting to be attacked by a rouge bedsheet. Letting out a battlecry that was DEFINATELY not a yelp, Orion responded to the offending sheet to the best of his ability and his greatest weapon. His right hook. WHAM. The fighter's fist connecting with something that was much more solid than it should have been should any fiendish foolery be occurring in this moment in time, and the offending bedsheet covered foe was practically sent flying with the force of his fists. Taking a moment to compose himself, not from fear mind you, but from the sheer adrenaline of taking on a foe so quickly, the fighter would crack his neck and exhale slightly. "Alright gang, lets see who this spook really is." Taking a few steps forward he would grab the sheet and give it a quick tug, revealing a now KO'd Poliwrath with the light hum of the ghost busters theme. "Who you gonna call eh?" He would ask over his shoulder. "Cause I aint afraid of no ghosts."

Bunny doesn't see anything weird, and it's honestly better this way. She does notice as the beer changes though. Her solo cup is warm beneath her hands and the liquid inside looks like the dregs of a sommeliers spit bucket. When she's certain none of the frat brothers are looking, she dumps it out in the bushes behind her. And that seems to do it, for a few minutes. But as the partying goes on and games are played Bunny notices that her hand feels warm again. The cup is full. She raises a brow as she peers into it— had someone topped her off without her noticing? For some reason, she feels compelled to take a sip. The liquid is gritty this time, like it's laced with sand. When she dumps it out this time, she tosses the cup too. It's wrong to litter, but she really doesn't like how the plastic feels against her hand. Bunny continues to hover around awkwardly until the game begins. She's paired off with strangers (which is to be expected), but she's too busy staring at the foreboding entrance of the manor to pay much attention to their names. Rabbit ears twitch as other partygoers start to push past her on their way, and she finally snaps out of it. Of course, her group had gone on without her by this point. Bunny's steps quicken as she scurries through the manor, violet eyes roving around for signs of her teammates, or anything else of note. "This place gives me the creeps," she sighs aloud to Sunkist. The Torchic in her arms chirps once and snuggles in, and her feathers are warm. Bunny smiles softly and hugs her tighter, leeching warmth like a second heart against her chest. As she walks, her foot pings against something on the floor. It's a small, golden bullet casing, crumpled and useless. Bunny doesn't see it though, and in fact kicks it unknowingly aside as she walks. Eventually she wanders into the training room, and Sunkist squirms out of her arms and onto the floor. The little bird starts pecking at some of the wooden boards and kicks at them with her tiny feet— practicing, perhaps, for when she eventually evolves. In the meantime Bunny inspects the room. She tries the locked door, glances at the cracked floorboards with mild interest. A stack of weights catches her eye— is there something behind them? Bunny hops over and tries to shift them out of the way, but they're far too heavy. She huffs softly and pokes her head out of the room, looking for someone that might be able to lend a hand. A passing Tuesday catches her eye, and she waves the catgirl over frantically. "Hey, hey! Sorry, ummm..." She realizes with a start that the girl she's addressing is far smaller than she is. Still, four noodle arms are better than two, right? And it's one of her teammates! Not that she knows that, but who can turn down a happy coincidence? "There's, um. I thought I saw something behind these weights, but I can't lift them on my own..."Bunny smiles apologetically and shuffles over to the stack, staring down at them with a purse of her lips. "But, um, I-I'm sure we can pick them up together!"

It didn't take long it seemed for the actual scavenger hunt to begin with people being divided into teams. As the groups were split, she couldn't help but smile widely. She was paired with her new french friend and her research assistant buddy! Nothing could go wrong here!
As they made their way inside, Laguna followed pretty closely to orioncayge for a bit. He seemed tense, maybe he needed another drink? To be fair, she could probably use another drink herself, but if she wanted to even think clearly enough to focus on the case and find all kinds of fun secrets, the drinking could wait for a moment.
Her feet idly glided across the hall, as the newfound Freezer class didn't bother to really lift her feet. Of course, skating was much harder while drunk, so she definitely leaned on the walls as she did so, giggling quite a bit to herself.
She'd finally get up from one of her many stumbles to see Orion freaking beating up a ghost! "Ahh! Oh, it's just a Tartard." She paused, wracking her brain for the English name as she absolutely forgot it for a moment. "Uhhh, The slapping tadpole... Poliwrath! Right! I, uh, I knew that. I'm uh, actually gonna, y'know-"
She motioned with her fingers as if they were legs walking somewhere else, her cheeks a bright burning red from both the alcohol and the embarrassment. "Bon courage! I'm gonna, yknow, find something. Yeah. Keep Scooby Doo-ing it up, Orion!"
And with that, she quickly slipped away from the training room, flustered to hell and back. Her Pokemon seemed just as confused as she was, staring at the downed Poliwrath for a few seconds before quickly scrambling after their drunken trainer.
Finding herself slipping into the closest room she could find, she ended up in the kitchen. Her eyes wandered across the whole room, curiosity helping her forget her embarrassment for a moment. It was quite beautiful! The herb garden was absolutely something she would have loved to have in her own apartment at home.
"Er, okay, okay. If I was in some horror film, there would be a jumpscare in the fridge, right?" She spoke to her Pokemon as they caught up with her, but Glacia certainly didn't know what a horror film was, and neither did Sir Hail. They both just seemed confused, if concerned for their beloved trainer. The Cryogonal used its ice chains to help support Laguna as she 'gracefully' moved over towards the fridge. "I mean, it's clearly big enough to hide a body inside it, right?"
Her hands grabbed onto the double doors of the fridge and almost immediately felt the handles freezing cold. If anyone else had touched this first, they might still be stuck to it! Definitely cold enough to give someone an ice burn, if not some worse injury.
If she was in any more logical state of mind, she might have questioned this a bit more. But as it stood, she simply opened up the doors with a shrug to peek inside. Almost immediately, she found the fridge to be full of huge chunks of ice. As if someone had just poured water inside the fridge, and tried to make giant ice cubes here and there. Was this the partygoer's fault, or had this been like that before? The Bros had obviously carved out a few places to rip out a few things to make drinking abominations from hell, if the open grape jam sitting next to a bottle of alcohol slathered with the stuff on the counter was anything to go by.
"You know, I like fruity drinks as much as the next person. But, that seems... répugnante."
Eh, she'd probably give it a try.
With a hum, Laguna slowly just leaned forwards and practically stuck her head into the fridge. Her wandering eyes slowly found something strange, and just stared at it for a few moments. Her head practically rested on a shelf in the fridge as she stared at it.
Of course, to anyone else, it would seem like the drunken girl just put her head in the fridge and flopped over.
Reaching her hand in slowly, she eventually pulled out a small chunk of ice to get a better look. It appeared almost like a carrot made from solid gold frozen into a block of ice. And for some reason, she found it to be the most hilarious thing in the world, giggling the world away as she even slipped down onto the floor, laughing so hard tears crept out of the corners of her eyes.
"Cette carotte dorée est comme tout droit sortie de Minecraft!"

Nothing could've possibly prepared Alice for the moment Kath Ulu's Grookey snatched the Hot Potato card and shoved it into its mouth. "No!" she gasped. She tried to remember the exact verbiage of what the card had said, certain that it could potentially be something dangerous, but thanks to the several drinks she'd just downed, she had absolutely no idea. Kath shouted an apology to Alice but not having the card in her possession any longer was the last of her concern at the moment. Had she just inadvertently caused harm to another player's Pokémon? "It's totally fine!!" she lied, plastering on a grin and a forcing a laugh. On an unrelated note, I'm going to follow you around all night to make sure your Grookey doesn't explode. She quickly followed Kath toward the house, catching sight of the terrifying eyes watching her from every dark corner of the area once again. But Kath's Bulbasaur had confirmed they hadn't seen anything creepier than usual... so it had to be a glitch, right? Right. That was when she saw Bergamot Gristleborg's Klefki transform into some rusted, horrifyingly sharpened alternate version of itself. Alice swallowed hard and stuck close to Kath's side as the majority of the party gathered around Chadwick to be divided into teams. There was probably some truth to the saying "Safety in Numbers", and at least she had her Pokémon at her side. She was a bit devastated when Kath was put on a different team than her. "I-I'll catch up with you later!" she waved at her, unable to help staring anxiously after Grookey. She'd never forgive herself if that creepy card actually did something to it. She hurried toward Finnegan Fjord and followed him into the Hall of Hammers, where it appeared they had several obstacles to clear. She was more than a bit distracted by the incredibly chilling portraits that lined the walls though, still getting the unshakeable feeling she was being watched. Fortunately, Yggy Br00ks lightened the eerie atmosphere somewhat. "It was an excellent kegstand," she agreed with Yggy's assessment, and blushed as she complimented her on her Cowgirl dance. "Thanks!" was all she could manage through the jumble of her very tipsy thoughts. "Oh, yes, what are we doing?" She looked questioningly at Finn - hopefully at least he'd been paying attention while she'd been hallucinating creepy shit outside. But it was Yggy's Pokémon who had all the answers, and Meowth had already cleared two of the requirements for one of the obstacles. She must be tipsier than she thought, because she could've sworn the Meowth just winked at her. "I suppose Petilil technically has a Fire-type move," she said, glancing down at the ever-silent Grass-type practically glued to Stella's side. "Mushroom, mind bringing a little sunshine in here with Sunny Day? It might make the place look a bit less eerie, even." Probably not, though. Mushroom dutifully fulfilled her request, the room brightening significantly as she did so. Finn's Mudkip was already working on the next hammer, but she thought she heard him mumbling. "Huh? Did you say something?" she asked.

The Hall of Hammers was as hallsome and hammer-inducing as expected. "I don't need hammers," Bergamot said loudly to one of the family portraits on the wall, standing just out of the range of the second inflatable mallet. "I need my Klefki back. It has all my steel-type moves. Have any of you seen Wolverine?" she demanded, turning suddenly on the team (DTF) currently in the room. "I'm worried that it might have been—" Her eyes flashed ominously, and lightning seemed to crash just outside the haunted manor. "—murdered."But it wasn't lightning, it was just Gyarados's hurricane. Looming behind the others in the hall, the sea serpent's mouth opened wide, revealing a nexus of swirling storm clouds. "Nice timing, Rainbow. This ought to do it," Bergamot said in satisfaction, stepping back. One by one, objects began to detach themselves as the wind force increased. The warmth from Sunny Day faded as bands of breeze lashed through the hallway. Yggy Br00ks's Oshawott and Meowth hung onto the third hammer for dear life as family portraits began to rattle and crash off the walls, then go pinwheeling away. "Ohohoho!" Bergamot laughed wildly as the second hammer flapped on its mechanism like an inflatable tube man in a tornado— then she coughed as her own hair flew into her mouth. "Peh!"When the hurricane died down, the hall was almost unchanged, though the second hammer looked a little droopier than before. "That's it?" she asked indignantly, then pushed her way back through the other team, shooing Rainbow aside to make space back in the foyer. "How anticlimactic..."After the click of her high heels faded, there was a strange sound in the hall beside Alice!. It touched a strange, high-pitched place on the frequency scale— like fingernails on porcelain, or shattering ice, or a silent scream. The sound of rust. The sound of wrongness. The sound of a key sliding into place.

Tuesday is sure that the ice cream cone with a boring and obvious name is probably a nice pokémon and all, but the more she looks at it, the more she craves ice cream…
Craving ice cream makes her crave froyo in turn, and of course, that makes her crave smoothies. One thing leads to another, and soon enough, her gaze is fixed on the kitchen’s surprisingly comprehensive bookshelf. A leather bound tome catches her eye: of decorated spine and gold trim too. When she reaches for it, the title – also written in gold, obviously – causes her blonde eyebrows to arch up in a mixture of surprise and disbelief:
The Golden Smoothie Recipe Book: 420 Elevated Recipes
Oh yeah, she’s totally taking that with her.
Into one of her pockets it goes!
Heterochromic eyes wander over her surroundings, and silently nodding to herself, Tuesday sneaks out of the kitchen unnoticed. Why is she sneaking around?! She’s not sure, but it seems appropriate, and is that she makes it into the Hall of Hammers.
Then someone calls her into the training room. Another pink-haired girl. There’s a lot of them these days, huh? This one is apparently one of her teammates, though… Unless Tuesday is reading the IGN that shows over her avatar wrong.
"Oh! Moon Bunny. Sure, sure, no problem. Leave it to me!"
Rationality says she probably should accept the help. Actually… It also says she shouldn’t be attempting to lift weights this heavy right now in the first place, given that she’s been eating and drinking, and that she absolutely has not warmed up. It means she’ll end up with terrible cramps!
Alas, this is not the time to be rational.
"It’s all about stance and how you hold it, see? You gotta have a proper grip on it, use your legs…"
She grabs onto the bar of the hilariously huge barbell, and with a deep breath, she attempts to lift it up. In what Tuesday would call intentional but would likely be totally surprising to most, she actually manages to raise the barbell up high, her full attention being on that and not on the way every muscle aches with the effort…
There is just one problem, though.
Perhaps this is the time to be rational after all.
See: gold is denser than iron and steel, and that means that when the stress of picking up the barbell causes the Alchemist’s generally-fun Midas Touch to activate and begin converting the bar into solid gold, it becomes heavier… and heavier… and even heavier…
"Uhm… Did you grab it yet?!"

Round 2: Drink Till We're Offline #Buzzedness #Winning #BadassPoké-Pong continues outside, and as items are brought to Chadwick he clears off cups at random from the board.
{Poké-Pong Board} Chadwick gives Finnegan Fjord a hearty pat on the back the next time they meet. "Nice work bro! Your Pokemon are tearing it up at the Poké-pong table!" He hands Finn another challenge card. The prompt is rather straightforward, though the line of twisted symbols at the top of the card are sure to draw Finn's eye.
As the players explore the house, clearing obstacles and bringing the spoils of their investigation to Chadwick, Furrlicity Purrfection brings in the music box (sans ring) and Chadwick frowns at it, turning the rusted Gardevoir figurine over in his hands. "Grandma?" he asks softly. He shakes his head and shoves the figurine into one of his pockets, his trademark smile slipping easily back into place on his face.
The dossiers fill out, slowly but surely developing an image of the suspects in this terrible murder.
Suspects
SUSPECT 1: REGINALD BRONSTANTON
- Former owner of the mansion, and head of the Bronstanton household
- His portrait shows dark hair and a kind smile, just like his son
SUSPECT 2: OPHELIA BRONSTANTON
- Loves music and dancing, and has a terrible sweet tooth.
- Favorite food is Lychee Ice Cream, much to the annoyance of Elmerich.
- The terrible stain on the floor of the dining room is from a bowl of spilled ice cream, long since spoiled.
- The Bronstanton manor is in great condition. The patch of mildew in the corner of the dining room is very out of place.
SUSPECT 3: THICC ELMERICH
- Personal trainer of the Bronstanton family, responsible for physical fitness and nutrition.
- Often clashed with Miss Putters, fighting over which foods were suitable.
SUSPECT 4:
SUSPECT 5: MISS PUTTERS
- A chef by trade, Miss Putters has been feeding the Bronstanton family for many years. She practically lives in the kitchen, preparing delicious, gourmet meals with the help of her Pokemon.
- Her partner Pokemon Vanillish is a master of crafting frozen treats, and together they have won many awards for their ice creams
- The freezer is full of her delicious frozen treats, including several tubs of her famous Par-liechi Berry ice cream. It's so good it'll make your tongue numb for hours!
SUSPECT 6:
Items of Interest
{Hall of Hammers}Stretching elegantly from the Foyer to the spacious Dining Room is a hallway full of family portraits. The names are long and hyphenated, but all the men and women captured in the gorgeous oil paintings bear the same iconic square jaw and cheerful eyes.
Since taking over the mansion, Round 2 have set up what can best be described as a 'gauntlet' of rubber hammer traps, each designed to be surprising, hilarious, and teambuilding, ideally going off in a Rube Goldberg-esque way, with each hammer triggering the next.
Doors lead off the hallway into the Kitchen and the Training Room, and there is a set of stairs leading to the second floor. The stairs are currently blocked and unusable. Inflatable Hammer #1: Normal move Inflatable Hammer #2: Flying move + Rock move (TEAM) - TWB & DTF + 0.5 Inflatable Hammer #3: Fire move + Steel move + Fighting move (TEAM) - DTF +1 Marshtomp: (Only available after hammers have been cleared) T3+ Swimmer
{Training Room} On another day, this matted room would be full of some sick rock tunes and bros helping each other with deadlifts. At the moment it has been cleared out for the murder investigation, and somber, respectful rock plays from the boombox in the corner.
Weights and punching bags litter the floor, but this room is for Pokemon training too, and there is plenty of specialized equipment. Insulated pads for electric types, fireproof pads for fire types, as well as plenty of stacks of clay tiles and wooden boards. Those last two aren't for any particular Pokemon, everyone just loves breaking them and looking cool.
The door leading from the Training Room into the adjacent bedroom is currently locked. Cracked Floorboards: Use Ground moves with over 200 Power (TEAM) Scorch Marks: Kindler subclass or 2 Fire Pokemon 1000kg Weights: Requires 3 Badass total (TEAM) - TWB +1 Poliwrath: Black Belt subclass or 2 Fighting moves - HUGS +1
{Kitchen} Plenty of counter space, a double-doored fridge, a spice rack filled with every possible flavor enhancement, and plenty of natural light. This place is a DREAM. There's even room for a whole bookshelf of recipe books, and an indoor herb garden! You can be sure that the Round 2 bros have been putting this place to good use, whipping up plenty of hearty meals and brotein shakes, as well as mixing alcohol with everything left in the fridge to see what tastes good.
The door leading from the Kitchen into the Backyard is currently locked. Recipe Book: 0 Power Grass move + 0 Power Dark move (TEAM)- TWB +1 Vanillish: Ice Move + Ice Pokemon (TEAM)- TWB +1 Spice Rack: Sleep move + Poison move + Paralysis move (TEAM) Fridge: Steel Pokemon + Electric Attack Freezer: Freezer subclass - HUGS +1
{Dining Room}Wall shelves filled with knickknacks give this room a homey feel. There isn't an inch of space left on the walls, and visitors to this room can spend hours looking at the former owner's collections of ornate plates, steins (some recently used), and miniature clocks. The hundred or so clocks are all ornate and handmade, and tick perfectly in time, casting a slightly hurrying aura over the imposing dining table.
The table itself is long enough to fit a party of fourteen on a single side, and each place set at the table has a frankly untenable number of tiny forks and spoons set beside their plate. Silverware: Armorer subclass or 2 Steel moves Suspicious Spill: Three different Psychic moves (TEAM) Stained Wall: Gardener subclass + Swimmer subclass (TEAM) - BRO +1 Snubbull: Charmer subclass or 2 Fairy moves
Bergamot Gristleborg's lost keys have found a secret door in the Hall of Hammers. Behind the door is a hallway, which is unlit. However, any players with +5 Winning will see the glowing outline of an arch on the wall of the cramped passageway. Players with +10 Winning will be able to make out the symbols at the top of the arch.
The far side of the hallway connects to the bookshelf in the kitchen.

"Hey, Caiman? Are you good?"
Finn laughs nervously as he sees the reptile shudder and heave. Void drips from its jaws, scales flaking. Finn takes a few nervous steps away as the Pokémon turns to him, a crooked and malformed snarl replacing its previously goofy grin.
He's not certain what burns in the embers of those eyes, but it doesn't look good.
The shadows paint warnings on the walls...
So the shadows were... good?
Lord, he hopes this is a good omen, and not a bad one. Bad omens were a pain in the abdomen. (Get it?)
Edging away from his slavering Croconaw for a moment, he finds Caher the Mudkip in the DINING ROOM, perhaps seeking out something less suspicious than forest beer to drink. It's a SUSPICIOUS SPILL that draws his eye, though, as well as Ruby standing near it.
"Need a hand? I know we're not on the same team, but..." He grins, winks. "I won't tell if you don't. Caher, give us a fin, would ya?"
Caher looks at him as if it's confused as to how it'd got there in the first place. AMNESIA, perhaps? But the Mudkip dutifully potters over to the spill.

Big Bee helped Furrlicity Purrfection look for the lost ring, but gave up after getting slashed by a rusty nail. "You can keep looking," he said, stepping around the suspicious spill that Ruby was investigating.
"I'll, uh, see how the other groups are getting on." He escaped the dining room, and worked back through the dismantled Hall of Hammers, until he reached the Foyer. "Just this one left?" He asked, inspecting Hammer #1.
It was poised over a man-sized mouse trap, with a bag of Nidoritos sitting on a raised portion of throw rug. "Well that looks downright dangerous," Big Bee said. "Leaving snacks like that just lying the hallway? Someone might trip!" He licked his lips and bent down to grab the packet, stepping squarely on the pressure plate hidden beneath the rug.
The hammer triggered, and would have knocked him out cold if Rian hadn't intercepted it at the last moment with a SLAM. "Careful with that hammer," Big Bee said, chewing on a Nidorito, "someone could get hurt!"

Returning to the HALL OF HAMMERS to check in on his team (and his cursed crocodile), Finn nearly bumps into Big Bee as the other munches on some Nidoritos. Noting the absence of the hammers, he cheers, "Thanks, bro!"
That left a single obstacle remaining: a MARSHTOMP at the end of the gauntlet.
Finn, having his own Mudkip riding on his shoulder and being a T3 SWIMMER to boot, doesn't seem at all intimidated by the Pokemon.
"Shit, is this what my little buddy'll turn into?" He grins. "Looks a bit like an awkward teenager. No offense or anything, I'm sure you're plenty powerful. I'd rather not find out, though. Maybe we just call a truce?"
He holds out a hand for the Marshtomp to bump its paw against.
Noticing his Croconaw still staring ominously, Finn tries to call it back to its pokeball for a well-deserved break... and finds that he can't.
"That can't be good..."
