"Hey! Hey, someone let me outta here!"
Yggy rattled the bars on her cell, standing on her tiptoes to see out the window. She could smell the sea from here, though she'd long since given up wrinkling her nose at the smell of fish.
The Asper County Jail, a newly-constructed building of cement and terra-cotta, sat dockside of the starting settlement. From the outside it looked warm, friendly, a place with a small-town sheriff you could approach to report villainous NPCs. There was even a helpful bulletin board right outside, covered with WANTED - VARMINT posters and local quests. From inside it wasn't quite as comfortable.
"Hey, does anyone want to help me out? I need another player for a minigame!" Yggy tried shouting, managing to get her skinny girl hands between the steel bars. She waggled them at the people passing by, but they must have been NPCs— they hardly glanced at her, or the ones who did shushed their children and scurried away. "I'm not a lowlife! I just have a Litten," the blonde tried to yell after them, but they seemed even more alarmed if anything. Whose bright idea was it to make Littens illegal, anyway? Tigger was his buddy from the Tower of Cats! Why would they give them out if they were just gonna criminalize them?
She'd already tried to solo the jailbreak minigame, but had failed immediately. You needed a certain number of BYTES to bribe the jailers, as well as actual sneaking skills. "C'mon! The player finder's been going for like 20 minutes," she complained, resting the side of her head on the windowsill. "C'mon...."
