Sweating his balls off, Orion found himself manning the pizza oven at his uncle’s “famous” pizzeria. The coolest place to hang out in all of the southside of the Edge, if you weren’t old enough to drink or drive. Cobbled together by a mishmash of buildings that had been gobbled up by the Cage clan as they made money, the building itself defied description. What was once a humble strip mall that served as a front for meth laundering was now a massive megaplex of jerryrigged bullshit that in no way should have been ever allowed to have human life set foot inside it, let alone have food served there.



But like, fuck OSHA and all of the other alphabet boys.



How had Orion gotten here you might find yourself asking dear reader, well if you must know he drove. But if you meant in a less literal sense and in a more literary sense, his cousin Eddie Cage, son of Joseph “Joey/Joe” Cage, who ran this fine establishment had fallen ill with a seasonal variant of Covid-21 and was required by law to spend the next seven days avoiding people, cigarettes, and booze. The Cage family being family and all, and given how much uncle Joey had done for Orion growing up, the fighter couldn’t leave them in the lurch. So here he was, trading his bandannas for a sick looking apron, and instead of serving out knuckle sandwiches he was serving up some greasy ‘Za.



“Motherfucker gets to take a seven day vacation sippin on sprite and noodle soup and I gotta deal with this fucking-” The fighter yelped as the side of his arm brushed against the 300+ degree oven wall.
