[ti]private[/ti]weather the storm

The Surging Steppes are not a place Tuesday visits often. But, then again, most places in UNOVR also aren’t. Her time is mostly split between the settlement and the Timberlands, so for her to venture away from them, there must be something that she finds to be truly deserving of her attention somewhere else.

Today, that something is Finnegan Fjord and Kyogre.

"’D’aw, look at you! Aren’t you a mighty little beast?" Tuesday smirks down at the young legendary pokémon, and at that very second, thunder cracks in the distance. Her cat ears lower with the sound, but they perk back up soon enough.

"Godfather. It’s less confusing that way, and even a cat can enjoy some Corleone vibes." She winks at Finn then, clearly finding it as hilarious as it gets.

When rain begins to fall, she sighs audibly, because it’s as if this happens every single time she hangs out with Finn in game. Talk about Ceaseless Downpour, right?

"Hope papa brought you a parasol, Leviathan."

She brings out and opens her own umbrella.

As if made of countless sharp spikes, the tuft of golden fur at the end of Tuesday’s lion-like tail puffs up when thunder comes in the company of a nearby lightning strike. Still, the Alchemist holds her ground… and she also firmly holds onto her umbrella.

"Ceaseless Downpour he may very well be, but lightning is not his friend right now, dude."

Tuesday’s smirks remains despite it all, but when she too opens her UI to FAST TRAVEL and is met with the same result, her expression is quick to change. There’s a heavy sigh.

"Ah, fuck… There’s like warrens everywhere around here, right? Maybe we can find a hole big enough to or something. Definitely should avoid all the metal around here. Shit’s like lightning rods."

Unlike Finnegan Fjord, she does not care for learning what a lightning strike feels like with her realistic pain thresholds.
