Somewhere off in the Steppes, a long figure with some sickass kicks and a mad awesome Bandanna stand upon a cresting hill, observing a lone metal spire jutting from the ground. In his research of the region he'd come to know a lot about this wild wasteland filled with fiercesome Blitzle's and angry Klanks. He'd spent many a minute hastily unsticking himself from electromagnetized chunks of iron jutting from the earth. Countless hours realizing his compass wouldn't work. But he'd never seen something quite like this.
This lonely spire had never once had a bolt of lightning strike upon it.
At first he thought it a fluke, something that happened when he wasn't online or not around. Surely that was the case, but as his time logged into the steppes began to grow and grow, he began to realize that it was no fluke. This obviously need investigation, and what he found was beyond his comprehension. The tip of the spire had been capped with mud as a horde of Yanma had built a nest, disrupting the "natural" cycle of whatever all this lightning was doing. Furthermore, the inhabitants of the nest had chased most of the Pokemon from the area, creating a deadzone in pokespawns.
This wouldn't do.
Not only did Orion hate the obnoxious bugs, but something told him that he couldn't let this stand. So he took to the LFG, and prepared what he could only imagine to be one hell of a Raid.Found a big ass bug's nest in the spire that seems to be a problem for the local enviornment. Help me smash it, I'll bring the booze, you bring the bugspray.
This will be a player run Raid, utilizing the full mechanics of the site. I will be taking up to ten people, and signups will remain open until all ten spots are filled, however the Raid itself will start sometime Friday Afternoon (CST). You may join mid raid and rp it out as a late arrival, I don't mind. It will be one post per round, the round duration will either be "Everyone signed up as posted" or about 48 hours, whichever comes first. The actual Round limit remains to be seen based on how based everyone participating is.
Each player will be allowed to bring up to three Pokemon with them, those of you who have a player class that allows you to fight may do so at no cost to your pokemon slots, but be warned. If the player gets KO'd you will white out and have to spend a round coming back from the Giant Shrine taking no other actions.
To sign up, you need only simply post an RSVP to Orion's party invitation here listing out the Pokémon you're bringing, the Tree's they're equipped to, and your player class is applicable. Once the raid starts, all upgrades are locked for the duration (Balancing to a moving goalpost is hard) You may only bring up to two characters per person, and on the miracle I fill all ten slots before the raid and someone wants in, I will ask people with multiple toons to pull one out.

-While I'm going to narrate through Orion, he will not be doing much mechanically.
