His Corruption Tracker was having a conniption. Still fresh on his arrival to Ostellia, Kazuki had already survived being mauled to death by a sentient Costco warehouse, so he figured pursuing a foray into the desert that wanted his bones was worth an evening.

So far however, all he’d managed to find were ruins. Most of Ostellia was—but this had a more whimsical coat of paint on its rusty exterior. A Ferris Wheel had been uprooted and now stuck out of the desert half-submerged. Kazuki treated it like a parkour track, leaping from the rusted beams and the crushed carriages.

He stopped, shoes stomping and caving a rusted carriage door. A massive crumpled structure sat across the ocean of debris, unrecognizable now. Though it lay in rusted steel tatters, its once-glorious structure could still be guessed, as if a phantom remained, hovering over the dust clouds and tumbleweeds.

Kazuki, who was neither an architecture student nor a researcher, could only laugh at the sight of it. On what remained of its walls was the biggest graffiti he’d seen in the park so far, and he pulled up his inventory, pulling out the in-game camera item and taking a snapshot.
