WHAT MAKES A SWEEPER?


For high, dependable damage and versatility, look no further than the Sweeper. The infamous glass cannon, Sweepers perform flurries of rapid-fire attacks on the front lines, risking their own well-being in the process. If you can handle calculated losses, strategy, and the spotlight, the Sweeper is your best bet. With the use of Core Abilities, a good Sweeper is the ace up every trainer's sleeve.

Equip this option if you like high-risk high-reward, rolling lots of dice, and describing epic battle scenes.

Actions: Basic Attack, Fast Attack, Switch Out

BASIC ATK A standard attack with consistent damage. Inflicts a flat 20 DMG + bonuses on one target.
• Take -10 DMG from the strain.

FAST ATK A series of multiple, close-range attacks. Make your allotted number of Fast Attacks (1 D20 + bonuses) on one or multiple targets. You may add your bonuses to each Fast Attack. These don't have to be the same Pokemon Attack— you could attack with Scratch, Pay Day, and Fake Out all in the same turn!
• Take -10 DMG per Fast Attack from the risks involved.

SWITCH OUT A conscious (non-fainted) Pokemon can be SWITCHED OUT for a different one as an action.
• The new Pokemon may not take actions until next turn.

Core Abilities: Recoil, Dodge, Escape, Sacrifice

RECOIL Attack recklessly, damaging yourself to inflict greater harm on an opponent. Activate this ability to inflict DOUBLE DAMAGE on a target in exchange for taking double damage this round.

DODGE Stay light on your feet! Activate this ability to reduce the damage you take by 1/2 in exchange for only dealing 1/2 damage this round.

ESCAPE Activate Escape to immediately switch out of battle without sacrificing the new Pokemon's turn. Any buffs are passed on to the new Pokemon. This ability can also be used to quickly move across large combat zones.

SACRIFICE In a heroic sacrifice for the greater good, choose a target on the field to 100% Protect from damage this round at the cost of your own remaining HP. Your Pokemon will faint after activating this ability.
