The room finally went quiet. Micheal was laying in bed, half despondant. The breakfast Jasper brought was untouched on the table. He didn't feel like eating- he didn't feel like much of anything.
His eyes slid over his room- slowly, things that were his parents' being drowned out by- not things that were his, but ones at least he had requested. Art of every kind- from paintings to custom jointed sculptures to textiles- but at present it failed to stirr anything in him. He didn't want to be in this room, in this manor, in this role.
He wanted to be anywhere else.
Micheal closed his eyes, taking a breath, and slowly sat up. The WorldScreen rested where it had been set down months ago. Micheal had made a character, gotten through the tutorial with the Professor, and- faced with the thought of running into actual living people-
Had closed the game and simply not touched it.

Mimiqueue blinked, wanting to instantly scuttle out of the way- but was affroned instead by updates. There had been some event with Cygnus, some development with Bunya, an entire raid, and... more to come post September.
Mimi waved it away, cautiously looking over the streets of Briarbane. It... was quiet. People probably at hom, living their lives, waiting for the next big update.
Perfect- she didn't want to suffer the crowds anyway. She made her way forward cautiously, deer-like, every movement foreign and unsteady.
Mimiqueue had the game to guide her- tutorial quests, basic actions to learn, things literally signposted. But... she simply walked, tuning it all out. She would find her own path.
