How good's your luck?An AR phantom had ventured into the arcade to collect a player stamp, but it's this question that had caused him to pause, take a moment, and then finally decide to join this game of chance. A game all about spinning a wheel and getting a 'random' reward, good or bad. 'Random' because there's never true 'randomness' to anything a computer does, and according to Vera's pragmatic approach, the same applies to life. Those are the oh so deep thoughts that cross his mind as he watches the wheel spin round and round, arms crossed yet expression calm. He had come here out of curiosity and just that. So, what will it be? A PRIZE ticket, apparently. "Huh... What's this?"No, he has no idea what it means. OHq|Mqz91d101d10 1d10ยท1d10

It was so dark, Rose couldn't see anything. Even after letting her eyes adjust to the dark, she still couldn't see anything in front of her face. How were they supposed to play a game blind?
Maybe that was the point?
Hearing someone else suddenly speak, Rose was quick to waddle over towards them, accidentally bumping into Yuze's leg. "Oh! Sorry! But, what did you get?" The curious voice would suddenly speak up, reaching around and suddenly finding the wheel.
"Aha! There it is! I saw this on that one gameshow on TV! People guessed words, like a spelling test. Do we gotta guess words too?" She mumbled to herself, grabbing the wheel and suddenly spinning. Before it even finished, she suddenly shouted out, just like she always saw the people on TV. "I'd like to buy a vowel! Y!" yL3omDhi1d10 1d10

The wheel stopped spinning, and it seemed she got no reward from her spin. She was already fumbling around so much in the dark, it was almost impossible to see.
Did she win a reward? Did she not?
"... Is it supposed to make a noise?" She spoke out loud, hoping someone else would respond. Maybe she didn't spin it right.
Where were the letters supposed to appear at anyway? Rose wandered around, gripping the edge of the wheel and slowly walking around in a full circle. "... Huh. What kind of gameshow is this? Where is our announcer? Wasn't there supposed to be some rhyming lady?" She mumbled to herself in confusion, only to spin the wheel again, hoping to maybe make it this time.
"Oh, wait! Is it because Y isn't a vowel here? Silly me! I want a U then! Give me a U!"

Rose was quite frankly, becoming a bit upset at this point. She didn't know what else she could be doing to make the wheel like her more. Maybe none of the vowels she asked appeared in the word? She didn't really have anything to go off of, except maybe there was no Y's, but definitely no U's. Or was it because she had no silly gameshow money to buy a vowel yet?
"Gah, this is so confusing!" She slumped onto the ground for a few moments, staring up into the empty blackness that was the weird stage with its lights off. It was admittedly, oddly peaceful. She probably could have taken a nap here, if she wasn't at the convention! She couldn't stay here forever!
Maybe, she should just take a guess at solving the puzzle, and maybe get a reward? It was worth a try, at least!
She finally climbed back to her feet, realizing she had wandered away from the wheel and needed to blindly find her way back. Once again gripping the wheel, she'd yank hard, pulling it with every ounce she could!
"George Washington! Solve Puzzle! Is it George? Not King George, the President man! I learned about him in school! Where even are the letters anyway? Isn't there supposed to be some pretty lady who reveals them?"
She was quiet for a few seconds, before suddenly speaking again almost nervously. "... Can I be the pretty lady who reveals the letters? I can wear a dress!"

โI donโt think you need an outfit change.โ A voice called, followed by the steps of a newcomer.
Angelo had arrived just soon enough to see the little girl attempt to coax the Wheelโs favor by shouting presidents. Never being one to rush, he had waited, curious how the game worked, and wondering if treating it like the actual Wheel of Fortune would be the correct path.
He bowed his head politely at Rose Garden. โYour sweater is pretty enough as it is. Maybe try some more letters? Or a different president?โ
He was quite sure the entire thing was pure chance, but it couldnโt hurt to try; he was one of those types of people who still smashed A whenever he tried to catch Pokรฉmon. And most importantly, he didnโt want to soil the girlโs fun.
โLet me give it a go.โ Reaching out, he took hold of the wheel. โLetโs seeโฆ how aboutโโ Shit, American presidents? He didnโt exactly move here to study history or politics. โEr, Barack Obama.โ
He sent the wheel turning. kmkfsRlG1d101d10 1d10ยท1d10

As soon as someone called her sweater cute, Rose couldn't help but immediately giggle, blushing softly. She couldn't really see even her own self in the dark that well, but maybe people more grown-up could? She genuinely didn't have a clue.
"Aww, thank you! But, it's not like the pretty long dresses on the TV show! I... don't watch it. But I see clips sometimes!" She giggles softly, letting Saint spin as she steps back and politely waits.
"... You know?" She mumbled softly, moving back up to the wheel as their spin failed to produce any kind of reward or results. "I think, maybe we're not playing the game right? Are we even supposed to guess? Maybe it's just luck?"
Rose hummed softly in thought, gently rubbing at her chin. "Or maybe, we just haven't started the game? I mean, the stage is dark!" She reasoned logically, although that didn't stop her from spinning the wheel once more, hoping for a winner!
Or at least any response from the strange wheel.

He smiled, hearing her laugh. What a precious kid. She reminded him of his younger siblings back at home โ albeit with better manners. No mangoes thrown at his head. โThatโs alright, itโs been a while since I watched it myself.โ And really, most of his knowledge came from memes.
He squinted, remembering said memes. But Wheel Of Fortune was a family program, wasnโt it? A girl this young could watch it, surely.
He stepped back as Rose Garden took her turn again. Lady Luck was not favoring them for the first round, but he made an impressed noise at Rose coming to the same guess. She seemed to be concentrating quite hard, although he couldnโt recognize her expressions well in such dim lighting. โYou make a very fair point.โ
He observed the space beyond them. It was as if the game was missing an audience. โIโve never seen a game show take place in the dark, but they did give us a neat little poem, right? Don't mind the dark, just move by feel. It's probably a feature.โ
At his turn, he placed his hand back on the wheel and was glad for the dark, for it hid his grimace. โ... Then again, this is based on an event called Dancing With The Stars and there hasnโt been any dancing yet.โ And he did not have any sort of fancy feet. He would prefer not to slip on his face in front of the girl, even here. He pulled the wheel and hoped it wouldnโt demand choreography. ZQMkZhLR1d101d10 1d10ยท1d10

"Hmm, I don't know that event." She mumbles softly to herself in response to Saint, slumping down to the ground in thought. It involved dancing? Did they have to dance out their guesses? Like Charades? Then what was the point of the wheel?
This hurt her head.
"I hope they do a game on the events I did. Fighting giant bugs was fun!" She giggled softly, slowly crawling around on the ground, her arms spread wide, hoping that she could find something, anything that would grant the key for this game.
Only to find, nothing.
"This is a weird game." She moved to stand up, accidentally bumping her head on the wheel with a solid thud, and crawled back slowly rubbing at her head.
"... Ouch."
"I don't know if dancing is gonna solve our problems. But!" She didn't respond, just tapping her feet and twirling for a second, unable to help but giggle again as she moved to push the wheel with all her might, and then twirl some more.

There was a thoughtful hum as he heard Rose Garden slump about the event, as clueless as he was. He wished he had answers to give her, but he had barely been playing for more than a few months.
โYou fought giant bugs?โ Perhaps it was hyperbole. The world was so much bigger to little kids. Angelo dreaded the idea of a little girl being chased by Mothra. And then there came the sound of a bonk, a familiar, undeniable one that had him impulsively step forward, hand outstretched to check for a bump on a little skull, but all he found was air.
โAre you alright? Your head doesnโt hurt?โ he asked, still flailing a bit in the darkness, but she recovered just fine. He let out a small sigh of relief at the giggling and the tapping of happy feet, unharmed, and still enjoying herself despite the circumstances.
Even more surprising were the new sounds: the wheel coming to a stop, celestial mechanisms locking in place, and the clunk of a compartment snapping open.
โHolyโyou did it! Thatโs amazing!โ Angelo cheered, giving the dancer some well-earned applause. That certainly answered whether they were playing the game right.
And then it was his turn.
"This... might not work," he murmured sheepishly, doing an awkward little foot shuffle before he made his spin. KuBxZPpM1d101d10 1d10ยท1d10

So nothing was going to plan. Fucking great. But what else was new.
So, Finn tried a different game. One that seemed to have fewer cranky old people. But who did it have? Angel.
"Talking to yourself?" He sneered. It was dark as hell, but there was clearly only Angel, and the big stupid spinny wheel. And Finn, who was obviously still pissed about the whole everything. "Is this where you've been? Just... standing in the dark, spinning a fucking wheel." Like it was even that difficult to spin for a prize.
Finn reached past him to spin the wheel himself, to prove that it was actually super easy, and that Angel was just bad at it, like everything else.

Whatever fear the encroaching darkness of the venue had on him had ebbed away, only to come crashing back to him with a familiar hiss.
โFinn?โ Angelโs foot stepped back automatically. He couldnโt see Finnโs face, but he could already imagine what it looked like, from the barbs already flung at him.
And this time, he couldnโt just attribute it to the guy being naturally Godโs worst creation. This time, he actually had a reason, and it involved him, and it was terrifying.
He flinched, seeing that obscured shape reach past him, grabbing the wheel and spinning it, heat burning over his face at what he thought to be one of those โgotchasโ.
โWhy do you care? I thought you wouldnโt be talking to me,โ he spat back, surprised he even managed โ and without stuttering, to boot. Well done. At least in VR, he canโt get decked, but heโll need to book it once he leaves the booth.
When the wheel finally stopped, he gave it one last spin. fmkk1vJ41d101d10 1d10ยท1d10

Big Bee stepped into the glowing spotlight that illuminated the Prize Wheel. There were others here, some holding prizes and others, like himself, only holding their breath. "No luck yet?" he asked Saint and argent.
The prize wheel was covered in colorful compartments, each bearing a suspicious name in expensive lettering.
Huh. Some of those boded well! He confidently grabbed one of the spokes that dotted the edge of the wheel. "It's all in the wrist. See, check this out." He heaved at the wheel, and it spun round and round with a satisfying whir. The colors and labels blended together, merging into a gleaming blur that glowed like the full moon. Big Bee was entranced. "I've never seen the moon this close," he said.
The wheel slowed, clicking to a stop on...
2hFTt0OM1d101d10
"Poison darts," Big Bee read out, just as the compartment opened and sprayed him with a volley of green-tipped projectiles. They studded his body, which flashed red and burst apart in a spray of pixels.
"AHHHHHH-"
His VR helmet shut off, and Bryan found himself screaming in a room of other gamer. "-HHhhow much fun is this game, amirite?" he recovered. He swallowed and took off the helmet, passing it to the next person in line. "I mean wow. That was a blast." Maybe too much of a blast. Why did they have the pain automatically set to realistic. He rubbed his arm and chest where the needles had struck. He passed the helmet to the next person in line. "Have fun!" 1d10ยท1d10
